I have aspergers, and can relate to all the experiences Aigis had growing up with SEES. Being able to relate to her, and watching her overcome her struggles just brings me joy to my heart, and motivates me even harder to overcome my own struggles. Not to mention she is the only video game character i can relate to. Something just feels good about finally finding someone you can relate with, whether they are real or just fiction."
To add even more to this, Aigis has been the only video game character i legitimately liked. I mean, i used to "like" Lilith from Borderlands, but that was just because she was a chick with badass powers. I now like Aigis MUCH more because her personality and way i could relate to her, her arsenal and power was not a single influence on why i like Aigis. This feeling of being able to relate to her naturally makes me feel even closer to her.
Not only that, but i heavily projected myself into the P3MC, as P3 was my first Persona game. As "weebish" it may sound, i did really feel like i had a bond with Aigis. This made me feel even closer to her, and i feel like i legitimately missed her after the game was over. Even i'm wondering how i managed to fall for a fictional character. But hey, this is why i love Aigis so much. And i don't regret feeling any of it at all.

Rise's always been my favourite of the P4 girls. She's bubbly and cheerful, always optimistic, and though a lot of the time she can be a tease, her emotions are always sincere. She's pretty mature and insightful when it comes down to it, and seems to understand her role, not just as a navigator, but as someone to keep her friends spirits high. I especially enjoy the character development she goes through in Ultimax; even though I think it was a bit forced and happens a bit fast, it feels like a natural development for her.
I really enjoy the buildup from her Social Link. It feels like it hits a real crescendo at Rank 8, and though I think the intimacy check is a little rigged, I still consider it a high point in the game. I really ended up sympathizing with Rise as a character, and the change she goes through throughout her Social Link may not be as drastic as Kanji, but I love the storyline and how her archetype is explored and deconstructed. I'm also just a sucker for her language, and Laura Bailey really sells her character well. Finally, I think her Third-Tier Persona event is a great end and evolution to her character, especially if you do her Christmas Link before that. What she says about being an Idol really shows who she is.

Also, something that's really important to me personally; I think her interactions in the main story do something that no other girl in P4 does. My first time playing through P4G I didn't realize that dialogue in the game doesn't change based on your relationships. So when I got to several events, like the beauty pageants and ski trip, the way she acted seemed to reflect the choice I'd made to have a relationship with her. It felt natural and good. Most people who don't care for Rise will have seen those scenes and thought she was being too clingy or attached, but it all felt like something done on purpose because I'd chosen to be with her. This is one thing I think P5 could benefit from, having more natural dialogue based on some of the Social Link choices you make in the game. I know that definitely adds development time and voice lines, but I think it can end up pretty meaningful and make the game feel more personal if it relates and reacts to the player's actions, outside of the typical ways you'd expect from an RPG.
I know these waifu wars tend to get pretty one-note and this post especially seems to be "I like X!" "My waifu is Y!" But I'm gonna be the weeb that actually explains himself, if that's alright. Sorry for the wall.
