For what? That cards game?
ME EAT YOU WHOLE
I want to eat cereal out of Yukaris navel!
Falling Down is going to go full 3.0, and theres nothing you can do to stop it.
Persona 3 movie 4 will likely end with Makoto's death as it looks like Falling Down will end with Ryoji's ultimatum of either living on in ignorance or continuing to fight despite no hope of success
5th one is going to be The Answer, and the after credit tease will a clip for the
But that basically looks fine in motion.
Though I still expect the animated cutscenes to look bad for the most part because Atlus. They always blow their animation budget on the opening.
The amount of QUALITY after some time becomes hilarious.
What's a good rushdown character with decent health
"Cherry picked" they said. It's just that one frame they said.
I don't go to /v/ but you can keep projecting if you wish.
I think Yu's and Yosukes were pretty good, I don't remember the other ones. I also played golden.
How many named/plot relevant detectives/cops do we actually have across the series, including those who are planning to become one? Off the top of my head we have the Kuzunoha agency, Katsuya, Officer Kurosawa, Akihiko, Naoto, Chie, Adachi, and Dojima. Am I forgetting anyone?
Holy crap, this isn't the sailor moon I remember? It's like they ditched the shonen female look for the generic Shojo female look. I guess that's there way of keeping the show away from Gajins.
Tatsuya wants to become a detective at the end of EP
Baofu is/was some kind of law officer and at the end of the game Ulala becomes his partner
Thanks, I guess I missed some obvious ones. It just struck me as odd how many people in the series are in or are considering law enforcement careers. And with P5 being like it is, I can only see that number growing.
P1: The police chief that Mark knew
P2: Kuzunoha Agency, Papa Suou, Katsuya, Tatsuya, Baofu, the two cops involved in Suou's case, later Ulala as well
P3: Kurosawa, Akihiko
P4: Dojima, Adachi, Naoto, and Chie
I actually enjoyed it in the beginning because the first 2 or three episodes were genuinely funny
once Marie came in it completely lost any fun to be had and became utter shit
Adachi episodes were okay though
I was so glad when I finally finished it... I was so devoted to watch this shit through it felt like a relief
Everyone at Atlus has a huge boner for detectives so they feel inclined to include at least one in almost every game
>you'll never eat noodles with the smt and persona protags
I can see it. And we've been saying for a while P5 is basically required to have one, but given their track record, I think we might see quite a few. Though then again I doubt we'll end up with so many main characters looking into careers like that.
She wanted to join the Student Council, and wound up elected Treasurer. She has stated that she didn't want to be the treasurer, because she wasn't good at Math. Mitsuru later explains that Chihiro wasn't made Treasurer because of Math, but because of her dedication to her responsibilities as well as how she sees things.
In P3 Drama CD Vol. 4, it's revealed Mitsuru is the one that motivates Chihiro to become Student Council President, since Mitsuru sees Chihiro as the one most fit to run the council after her graduation. Mitsuru came to this revelation when Chihiro gave Mitsuru and Hidetoshi a speech about how neither of them can get by life doing everything by themselves, a speech so heartfelt that Chihiro herself was driven to tears.
Chihiro was where she was in the council during her years at Gekkoukan due to how Mitsuru saw Chihiro as not just a great member of the council, but also a great friend.
Thank fuck, they'd be taking in their strange gook language and I'd have no idea what any of them were saying and it'd be weird and awkward for everyone especially since demi-fiend refuses to put on a shirt.
>I AM CHAMPIE-YON
Chihiro did do a good job as Treasurer, she's just (according to herself) not good at math.
>instead of just a Sherlock character, you fight a grizzled group of for-hire Persona-wielding detectives
I wonder if the half-brit can speak half-english
There is not enough money or macca in this world that will allow that rumor to pass.
How am I suppose to save this bitch if the fucking spider keeps putting up those legs of his? The music is good but man does such a boss not deserve that track.
This better get fixed, i'm already getting triggered.
Make a P1 movie, you useless fucking coin
>Don't look at me like that
Well how should I look at Phantom?
Sorry Anon but not even God can make that happen.
Aigis, Konohana Sakuya, early design Yamato Takeru. Sexy sexy cylinders.
>So pretty much Maya-tier Engrish.
He knows it well enough to work as a translator so I doubt
Also reminder that Yu's canon name is actually Bob.
Started playing P4G yesterday. I'm currently stuck on Yukiko's boss. I've been using Valkyrie for attacking, and I switch to Ukobach when defending against fire. It goes fine for the most part, until a "two-fanged" attack or something kills me, even when my health is almost full. Any tips?
Sorry, let me elaborate, If I give that persona to Junpei now he'll be 10 levels below it and thus suffer the loss of power from that. I'm going to train him up so he can use it. I might also try to train the Persona 4 cast for new game plus as well.I'd rather not have to deal with that annoying ass red doll FOE again by running away.
Knowing and able to translate doesn't mean he can speak it well. Just like a lot of self-taught Japanese language people here can read it well, but speaking they sound like ass.
I'll recant that he's Maya tier, but he is nowhere near Eriko tier. She is the most fluent one of them all.
THAT'S MY PURSE
I know dummy, thats why I said Cantonese.
Are you talking about Persona 4 or KotH?
actually I just looked up what some of those words mean and this might be right. but if it's the funny guy/straight man routine then I think chie and yukiko fit best despite them often playing both roles.
Anyone else really hoping we have barely anything to do with the velvet room attendants this go around ? No requests, No taking out fo the velvet room on dates. no way, I don't want them trying to call the protagonists big brother or even entertaining the thought of both of them liking him. That's just gonna make the game harder to localize and only appeal to lolicons. I had enough of that shit with Nanako and Maiko.
>Every character in the image is a girl
Because those examples are from shows with a girl cast doing cute girl things. It has nothing to do with gender, or even anime.
Junpei and Yukari are the quintessential boke and tsukkomi in the series.
I still want to watch a slice of life that takes place after P3, while Junpei, Yukari, Fuuka, and Aigis are seniors.
Every once and a while Mitsuru has to visit the school and intervene in their shenanigans, or bail them out of trouble.
Inou Battle. Its pretty shit.
That scene kinda comes out of nowhere, so /a/ latched on to it for a bit.
I liked the scenes with the tsundere, and the girl in the video freaking out, but thats like 30 minutes out of 12 episodes.
I also watched it piss drunk, that might have helped.
The guy she likes always talks in chunni bullshit and she doesn't understand a word of what he says and while she's been putting up with this shit for a few years he eventually starts shutting her out completely yet he asks her to cook him a meal and ignores her to talk with the tsundere on the phone. She pushes him enough that he flat out tells her "You wouldn't get it anyway." which sends her into a minute long rant. Kudos to the actress for memorizing all of that shit and keeping up the emotion in one take because the things she was saying sounded like a chunni dictionary or something.
She did, that's the point of that rant, she knows what the terms mean yet the protag uses them in a such a way it makes no sense to a normal person and it comes off as some stupid attempt at trying to sound smart. Like when people try to talk about Kanji and Naoto's issues being Homosexual and being Transgender when they obviously didn't play the game.
She could look up as much stuff as she wants, it wont help her understand the crap that comes out of his mouth.
and like >>95229407 said, theres some underlying jealousy. The tsundere is a closet chuuni, and is getting along with the protag better in a couple months than she has all her life.
Scathach because Myraid arrows and Waifu
I liked Little Witch.
Ninja Slayer I'm not too interested by.
I'll take as a yes.
Izanami sure does look happy in that gif.
You know that kid at school that ran around like Sonic?
Its the jap version of that.
The joke in Kens arena title is calling him, even though he actually does have magic powers.
The localization changed it though
I'm pretty sure it's not about having magical powers. It's about you thinking you know more than everyone and that all adults are stupid but you're not because you're better than all of them. The magical shit was added later.
chuunibyou = 8th grader sickness
Behaving like a middle schooler, believing you have magic powers and shit and having no filter or self-awareness of how fucking retarded you look pretending to be magical
As a character archetype it got really popular over the last few years
I know it's you /a/. You keep to your shit in your board, and we keep to Persona content here. I'd rather people shitpost about Persona than shitpost about something off topic.
That being said, I bet you're a Naotofag.
When she felt like dying her hair green.
In her rebellious phase.
I don't think he cares.
At least she has Lucarios to keep her company.
Friendly reminder not to forget about what's sure to be the best character in P5
Yes but this red is superior to that red
If it's a girl, then she's wearing a less sexy vixen-like constume that Anzu. It's a little more loose-fitting and androgynous. Which to me would push her into the Naoto/Chie girl spectrum compared to Yukiko/Rise.
If it's a guy then he's going to be effeminate as fuck to be walking around in that outfit with that tail.
yo pee gee i got a headache and decided i'd make an animation of mitzy spinning from her sprite set in arena
Never been in this general, but this is potentially more helpful than normal /v/.
In P4G, I started the Temperance social link a while back and then switched to working on Devil for a while. Now I went back on a not-raining Monday and the bus stop only says that I can't do the Hospital job that day.
Is there a different bus stop or am I just doing something wrong?
You can't do the hospital job that day
Try another day
>switched to working on Devil for a while
You can do temperance and devil at the same time, one is daytime one is nighttime. Have you been skipping daytime links to do devil?
>fox girl was actually supposed to be a boy and was never supposed to be a girl
>Atlus suddenly realizes their fanbase wants it to be a girl so the redo some dialouge, give her an androgynous name and make her Naoto 2.0
Looks like the translator has done more
What would a delinquent Naoto be like? Does she put 100% effort into bleaching her hair blonde, shaving her eyebrows, furrowing her eyebrows, walking lazily and glaring at people?
I like how these guys were not afraid to base characters or concepts after real people or other shows, especially from non-Japanese origins.
They all seem so passionate about their work and not afraid to be influenced by others'.
It'd be neat if they were semi-antagonists (In the same way Dojima was a semi-antagonist) until they catch on that Persona things are happening, and then they either lay off or try to subtly support the protagonists.
Interviews with pretty much all of Atlus's staff feel really refreshing compared to what you usually get these days. Pepsiman's mentioned that Kaneko and Hashino both have a very honest, genuine feeling the way they go about interviews. Even Yamai, easily the least spoken of the three, seems to care a lot about his games and what players take away from them. Shame that personality seems to be so rare in the western industry.
>Does she put 100% effort into bleaching her hair blonde, shaving her eyebrows, furrowing her eyebrows, walking lazily and glaring at people?
She would be Kanji
And she'd also actually be in a gang, she goes the extra mile.
>but in other places, it could be the mask game or whatever
>IS had the Masked Circle
Eh something about Hashino rubs me the wrong way. His interviews in P3 gave me a good feeling but in P4 and beyond I began to see an insincere guy.
here is mitsurugi doing an attack of some sort
I haven't actually played arena so I don't know if this is right or not
the timing was (possibly) wrong on the old one and i had to delete it to avoid duplicate file
Looks like Satomi loves oysters
And I'm now convinced that Persona 2 would've been way better if Kaneko got to direct it.
>We could make it happen for real one day, those two sleeping together
That's gay, Kaneko.
>a Persona user who's started to sexually harass people
>What about a racing game? The personas could be engines
>Who says it has to make sense?
Kaneko is truly a man ahead of his times.
>Tadashi's favorite persona is Nyarlathotep
Yeah, not surprising.
I wonder if that means Vishnu would've turned out the big bad if Okada and/or Kaneko had directed P2. Although that would have required handling Nyarl's role on the side since Nyarl already got his foot in the door with P1.
I think the use of Nyarlathotep works best, at least for me, is because of his very nature in terms of he was originally written. Out of all the Lovecraftian creatures, he is the only one that has a personality and messes with humans and loves it. The others are mindless and don't care about humans.
Now in terms of Vishnu, well I think maybe they would implement the avatar thing. Perhaps having a plot that involves his previous avatars or the protagonist or someone else being the 10th, Kalki, who is supposed to bring about the end of the world.
Then again Vishnu would still not make sense since he's seen as the protector. Shiva, the destroyer, would be more suiting as the antagonist role.
Yeah, I guess that's true. I was brainstorming blindly 'cause I'm not well versed on mythology.
