I'm playing Raidou vs the SOULESS ARMY and I need to know guys. Do I get actual sword combos or is staggering my strikes the extent of the combat because the spin sucks and the lunge recovers really slowly.

The difficulty curve's just broken.
Sector A, B: Not too challenging, just the boss of sector B has fucking Mabufudyne
Sector C: Most of the enemies are chumps but you can accidentally find Fiends starting from here, boss is actually fairly easy
Sector D: Annoying conveyors and dark areas, boss can be autobattle solo'd
Sector E: Really long, involved dungeon, everybody hates the teleporter maze, the boss can be a fucking wall due to healing itself

Mem Aleph isn't really that hard in neutral, it's just that you suddenly need to grind for her battle out of nowhere in order to get enough levels to fuse demons with decent abilities like Jihad

I guess because depending on how much you grind, you might not have access to Agidyne at that point. Plus, Oroboros can hit full party, and heals herself. Especially if you're playing for the law path at the time, the demons around the late 30's-early 40's don't have access to good fire spells from what I'd recall. It's best to go neutral or chaos at that point to use the Aztec Sun guy, or Black Frost.
