It becomes a problem in AB mainly because no matter how fast you go the plane can still bomb you just because they can drop their bombs point blank crash and have no penalty at all.
Its like having a guided missile more than having a bomber, if there was a punishment for dying or suicide in the plane (Like your tank crew dies) then a lot more people would use the bombers for bombing rather than guided missileing (I mean for fuck sake you are given a fucking marker how the shit can you not aim those fucking bombs?)
Was having a fantastic game in a chafee last night. Taking cap circles. Fighting off the enemy. recaping more cap circles. Driving circles around heavier tanks. Flanking the shit out of the enemy. This was all really close quarters city fighting, Eastern Europe. The match is just about to end and I go sliding around one last alley corner, and straight into four enemy KV-1s, turrets pointed right at me.

Yeah, Tiger IIs were issued with Pzgr. 40/43 if they were expected to face IS-2.
Except the basic ammunition for the IS-2 could penetrate 202mm at 1500m, and the henshell turret was flat with 185mm armour.
The IS-2 actually had no problem penetrating the Tiger II.

Test drove the IS-2 last night, and just by luck I popped the turret off of every single target german vehicle I hit.

Hitting the front plane of Ferdinands usually cause it to explode with high explosive shells, since you fuck it's entire top armour.

Wanna know the weirdest bias I just found?
Go look down the barrel of end-tier German and Russian tanks with the armor viewer.
German tanks receive flat "armor" inside the barrel, making it effectively 20-40mm thick.
Russian tanks get this weird magical inverse cone going on in every single one of theirs, increasing the inner-barrel armor to 60-80; and in the case of the ISU-152, ">160mm."
Just looked at some American tanks. They get it too. You need at least 60-80mm pen, or more to pen down America/Russian barrels at batshit angles that are likely to auto-bounce. With Germany, you need 20-30mm pen on flat plates that are extremely unlikely to bounce. M46 gets 90mm.
I almost noted that the KV-2 has no inner lining, but it actually does. The 90mm mantlet is hidden inside the barrel too.

Ping spike. You client fired, but took slightly longer to register on the server. Used to be a much bigger problem than it is now, but if you've got connection issues it still crops up.
Both ways of testing a valid.
You have field tests with normal ammo vs normal tanks.
And controlled tests of a set gun vs a steel plate.
You need both kinda tests to get a full picture of the performance.

I think it's just laziness honestly. Like how many new tanks have coax MGs that don't move with the gun and then clip. This has happened almost every time new tanks are added.
The first Typhoon with 10 gazillion MGs is pretty shit because the guns do almost nothing.
The rest is pretty good. Kinda like a FW190 with worse weapon layout but better maneuvering in the horizontal.
Typhoon 1a with 12 .303s teaches you how to manage your engine and maneuverability to hug someone close enough to smell their ass waft; because you're going to have to be that close to do any damage.
Anything except tracer. Stealth might give you more time to put initial fire on, but you'll want Universal or something with a single tracer hiding in it to make sure you're actually getting all 12 on target.
Just practice. It doesn't roll and turn like Spitfires. Flies more like American fighters. Great in a dive.
The .303 threes aren't really a problem if you keep your gun convergence in mind, and now how to use it properly. That's also a matter of practice. It's got a shitload of them, so you can saw right through any plane you see at convergence.

I can easily kill any target in the game, I guess except battleships/carriers, with 250kg easy. Even player tanks, if you're accurate.
100kg are really only good against light pillboxes and AI ground units unless you're autistically accurate against players.
50kgs are a joke. I mean you might get a AI/Player tank with them if it goes down the commander's cupola or something.
Fair enough. I admit that I never rarely get the chance to bomb anything, but the last time I checked the 250kg's required me to be pretty retardedly accurate, but maybe that's because most (if not all) of my planes that had 250kg's had them mounted on the wings, which really fuck with my aim.
100kg can actually kill light pillboxes? Well shit, I was pretty sure only the 250kg and heavier stuff could kill it.
250kg has to go right into the center of a Pillbox the same way a 100kg has to literally hit dead center underneath (no hitboxes) of a Light Pill to kill it.
I know because I ground out some insane amount of RP with the Tu-2S-59 using 9 x 100kg bombs and winning shit like Berlin/Ruhr (I think?) in two sorties.

I know the basics, usually try to stay higher than my target then swoop down for the kill, then I disengage and try again. Problem is I hardly hit anything doing this and soon enough some fucker comes in and kills me in a handful of shots

Well, that's your own problem. Maybe you were going too fast and the control stiffening messed your aim. Maybe your aim just wasn't good enough. Or maybe you acted a little hesitant and didn't do much deflection shooting. Although seeing as you're flying low tier planes, you probably flew an aircraft that rarely have cannons, in which case there is nothing to do but suffer through it. MGs are just shit all-around for now, except maybe the clap fiddies which are decent.

As hopeless of an advice this might be (>trusting low-tier teams), stick with your team. Or you can avoid any engagements until you're %100 sure that %99 of the enemy team is at a lower altitude than you, and potentially take everybody by surprise. I find it useful with low-altitude planes in general. Your chances for getting kills will be lower of course, but this is the sacrifice you will make for survival.

You have to take it slow (it's impossible not to, really) and your sides are made of glass. BR 8.0 tanks pose a challenge but are killable. The gun's a laser and even BR 8.0 tanks have trouble penning you from the front. One of the main problems is how tall/huge it is unlike such low profile t0nks. Wouldn't call it as much of a clubber as the jagdpanther.

You guys do realize the 152mm howitzers carried by SU 152's could knock the turret off of a Tiger through sheer blast force with a direct hit right? Not to mention the effects of spalling and concussion of the blast, which was shown to be powerful enough to even kill crews inside Ferdinands, although the vehicle would normally still work after you shoveled the old crew out.
Hell, the SU 152 was the only reliable long range weapon they had to kill Tigers with at Kursk besides artillery or airplanes, that's why they built so many Su and ISU 152's afterwards, because they were good at knocking down fortifications and killing enemy tanks.

The BR is the way it is because before 1.35 AKA when BRs were introduced which is the same time the Hellcat got a new FM. The Hellcat was a huge fucking piece of shit. Turned like a P-47, was as fast as a Zero, climbed like a B-17. It was garbage, so anyone who played it usually sucked and died all the time.
