OST need re-up apparently
Can anyone give any advice for the Mastema fight in SMTIV? I've been stuck here for the past few hours. I've got a full party with resist force, but Mastema always gets the first turn and Almighty spams my entire party to death.
You may need to comeback later when you're a couple levels stronger, so you can survive the megidolaon spam he does. What's important is to come with demons that do Zio attacks, he's devil againts electricity
I tried to update it using what's been happening and was suggested. RIP Dick
but she had the right idea, she was just tricked into working with an asshole
>not naming MC after yourself
>but it doesn't make sense for a jap to have an american name!
It's called suspension of disbelief, look it up
He could figure that out on his own by playing the game.
I don't know why people want spoonfeeding advice like that before playing a game. It takes away part of the fun of seeing how things play out.
friendly reminder that jonathan is bicurious and that's entirely okay
note to self: if you're gonna cosplay, do a character with a mask and a bulky outfit
Perhaps a lack of sorely need guidance?
Someone trustworthy should guide them.
Someone handsome too.
That Mastema fellow springs to mind.
Those questions don't even really require google.
They're handholding questions by idiots that don't know how to play games and need to know everything beforehand. I have no idea how they have fun.
I'm asking if it's a shitty game or not but alright thanks guys, you've been really helpful
I'm glad that I like SMT 4 the most because I know it'll annoy the fuck out of you autists
You got your answer, shitstain. Someone said it's good. You don't need to then ask if you should get it. You either fucking want it or you don't. You look up a trailer and see if you like the premise and make up your own damn mind, not that making your own decisions is something you're capable of.
>Someone already told you it was a good game. What more do you want?
I'm sure someone plainly saying that it is a good game is a great summary of it why it is good.
I'm sure mommy doesn't mind buying things that are bad for you though
>fighting Raphael in SMT IV
>get him really low, and he's healblocked
>go all out offense on him to burst him down
>Cherub misses Agidyne, loses me the rest of my turns
>boss heals to full
>continue the fight
>use up a bunch of recovery to get him low and healblocked again
>Cherub misses Agidyne again
>I'm sure mommy doesn't mind buying things that are bad for you though
Sorry I've got a job and can buy 20 dollar games without feeling guilty.
Why don't you just look up some reviews then? It's a solid SRPG.
Here's your reply, try harder next time though and work on reading comprehension
>Why don't you just look up some reviews then? It's a solid SRPG.
>yeah why didn't i just look up some reviews on my favorite websites like kotaku, ign, and gamespot????
I'm out for real this time, there's no reason for me to invest in something where everyone who talks about it is overtly toxic
It's a decent game, it has solid gamplay, as I said before characters are a bit silly, it has a compelling story and lots of repleyability, with 6 different endings, three of which have a postgame day added on the overcklocked edition. I don't know what else I could tell you.
It's about Tokyo suddenly being overrun by demons and the city being put into a Lockdown by the SDF, you and your friends want to get a way out of the lockdown but then the forces of law and chaos start getting into the way
>Kotaku, IGN, and Gamespot are the only ones who do review
He obviously wasn't gonna stop unless someone spoonfeeded him something that was a google search away
I'm reflecting brand back at him, and it's working, but every single time I've ever gotten into that position, my demons have just fucking missed and lost me all my turns, and nothing I have/can fuse has brand.
>tfw guy who cosplayed as Hacker died in a car accident
I just remembered something the reason you can't fuse a demon with brand is because only DLC demons can learn skills that inflict itand try to fuse a demon that has more Agility
It's cool, I just kicked his ass somehow. Didn't even have to use an item. Mostly because he didn't spam Serpent of Sheol much and I put together a team of Agidyne/Trisagion spammers.
So I just found Ghost Q while playing SMT2. I was curious what the hell this guy is supposed to be. Looking at him my first thought was some kind of crossover reference to another Atlus game or something, but apparently not since his first appearance is SMT2. There's not much information about him on the SMT wiki either, but it has his description for DeSu, and it says something about him appearing in Japanese houses to eat a lot of food and boost the economy. Is he some kind of 90s Japanese political reference or something?
Found one site in Japanese saying he's probably a reference to this:
>is a mischief-maker who likes to fly around scaring people and stealing food, though he is deathly afraid of dogs.
Which matches Ghost Q's DeSu description pretty well.
There not that common. I'm on my second playthrough, and I intentionally went through the factory area more times than necessary in the hopes of meeting one. Then he showed up when I wasn't expecting it (notice I didn't have my demons out), so I spent the first few rounds stunning him with zionga while I summoned demons. Then I found out he's the weakest of the Fiends and he died without ever putting me in danger, and I didn't even get a drop. It was kinda underwhelming.
There is apparently a place in the post-game bonus dungeon where they're more likely to show up, but I didn't do the bonus dungeon after my first playthrough because I wanted to try again and see a different ending.
I'm the guy who found the sage of time last time pretty underleveled while looking for Betelgeuse, wouldn't say they are every other encounter like that anon did but they sure as hell don't feel like 1/256 even though the Japanese say that's the rate again.
After I died I went to the same area again, died in a normal encounter because of a bunch of maneater, went again to the same area and I encountered Hell's Angel.
I didn't mean foggy as in the dark areas, it's a different kind of fog, it's hard to describe itm but yeah, it's like a secret post game dungeon. but you have to load a save before you entered the Tower of Eden or whatever to get to it
Someone also brought this up a year or so ago. I had completely forgotten. So thanks anon who asked about Ghost Q
cause I forgot to add this info to the wiki when I last saw it posted.
