Yeah, they do that. Annoying as fuck.
Also, on the Ose battle in Nocturne.
Got 4 Sukukajas, 2 Rakukajas, and 3 Tarukajas on my party; 3 Rakundas, 1 Fog Breath and 1 War Cry on Ose.
Party of World of Balanced Mag MC, Eligor, Matador, and Unicorn.
Persona 1's story is so simple but god damn is it good
Peace diner >>>>>>>
They get butthurt over dying and having to start from a few floors down, problem is people who shit all over P1 probably played P3/P4 before and aren't ready for an actual "megaten" rpg with no hand holding in wicht you can actually get stuck in if you don't pay attention to the dialogue
captcha: which dicent
>don't grow attached to anyone.
They all die, don't they?
>implying Nozomi isn't the better waifu
‘EL ELOHIM ELOHO ELOHIM SEBAOTH’
‘ELION EIECH ADIER EIECH ADONAI’
‘JAH SADAI TETRAGRAMMATON SADAI’
‘AGIOS O THEOS ISCHIROS ATHANATOS’
Screw this. I refuse to let the thread die!
/smtg/, name your favorite battle background from ANY SMT game!
My favorite at the moment is the background when you battle Erebus in P3:Answer. I just like the sickly yellow aurora, black mountains in the distance, and the eldritch-looking night sky when you battle him. It's unique, and it looks cool.
Not that much to discuss story wise that's the problem
>Noticed that already.
>Wondering what sort of an idiot the guy is for making the bait obvious.
Playing some Nocturne if you want to watch.
>yfw SMTIV is probably the first game to show how fucking despicable Lucifer actually is
I'm glad the fucker got cancer
I dunno. SJ was pretty bad. He straight up admits he has "no love for humans" combined with that chaos ending. It is true that IV actually represented HIM as more directly bad though.
To be fair, on neutral it shows that lucifer / walter can still sometimes appear in the form of walter, and has walter's personality. And on chaos it implies that human form lucifer has walter's memories, and refers to walter's past as if it was his own past. So its not like walter sits around like that 24/7.
Look at that cameltoe.
He said he has no love for them while also stating he would never abandon them.
>He said he has no love for them while also stating he would never abandon them.
So he's one step below an abusive husbando? Saying he's going to be all up on your dick doesn't make anything better.
Read the manga. It's better and doesn't have a Walter who goes full retard the minute Lilith shows her nippleless boobs to everyone.
In fact Yuriko is a bitch who dies like a bitch.
God loves humans and make their existence terrible.
Except in SJ he admits he forgot he even loved them.
Hell even when God leaves like in Majin Tensei he still tries to screw over every human possible by leaving Satan to kill all humans with his demonic legions.
Which is of course attack of the bad writing, seeing as the entire point of what made Johnathan law is that he was egalitarian despite being rich, and the entire point of what made the angels angels, and why they chose you no less is the fact that they force everyone to be egalitarian whether they want to or not, and put all rich people who won't give up their wealth to the sword.
So... is he just trying to be hurtful? The insult doesn't make sense anyways, since Isabeau is also fighting him, and obviously also thinks the same way. And he could easily say something that actually makes more sense in the context of his ideology. It makes me think that in Japanese he said something slightly different, and the translators weren't sure what to translate it as.
Or maybe it's the two faced nature of the angels who preach something but feel something else.
The second form always makes me think it is based on their two faced nature.
It's part of an extra skill.
A fucking legion of Dark-Chaos foul demons use it on Gabriels stage in the Neutral Route. They bind you with it for their angelic master.
Angels are manipulative tools. I recall talking to NPCs in Mikado who mentioned that they banished the Luxurors they had no use for in order to make themselves look good to the people, and then they order the Samurai to go hunt them down and kill them.
Hope even tries to justify the actions to himself.
Which... doesn't really match the personality of the angels in series anyways? Trying to fuck with you with weird taunts is more of a chaos thing. Law enemies generally just flatline that you = bad, and so emphasize exactly how defeated you're going to be / pathetic that is.
>seeing as the entire point of what made Johnathan law is that he was egalitarian despite being rich
It's also implied that Jonathan is law because the caste system of Mikado's society has benefited him as a luxuror and he hasn't built up any resentment towards the status quo like Walter has. He's a hypocrite.
That's him for the first half of the game. But it implies that he finally gets the point when he sacrifices himself. He used to criticize other people for being selfish, and think everyone should do more things for eachother. But then he realized that he was selfish too, and was criticizing them from a position of privilege. And so he (and by extension all of the rich) would have to give that up in order to actually have a basis to.
The other problem with the games is that they make a distinction between "bad law" and the "good" law endings. And yet for the first half, you often get law points by siding with bad law. Up until like halfway, they act like law would simply be leaving mikado in the middle ages, almost totally the way like it is. The real ending where they take the technology and abolish class has very little to do with protecting the status quo.
I didn't see that. I saw it as him calling everyone selfish while ignoring himself.
Then in the Chaos Route his voice is heard upon Merkabah's defeat. and he can't comprehend what humans or demons want. That suggests he never understood his fellow man and called them selfish without understanding them.
That part against the Status quo is Jonathan's blind obedience to authority figures. He not only doesn't object to what those in charge do, but he quickly justifies anything they do. The Archangels as the new rulers of Mikado say Tokyo must be destroyed so he agrees.
Which is ironic when you consider that law endings are generally about removing class, whereas chaos endings are generally about having class differences. Hell, in infernal tokyo class was literally physically obviously a part of your appearance. And the chaos idea that the most aggressive who can take the most for themself should have the most isn't even remotely close to "fair." Its just another undeserved class system, except based on something that will make life even worse for the underclass.
Which is one of the issues with how the alignments are presented. In real life, collectivism based solutions are generally seen as siding with the underclass against the upper class. But in SMT, and especially IV they randomly lump both bad law "preserve some shitty system" together with "create system where everyone can feel secure." So the tone of what the law ending actually is vs how you get there is only vaguely consistent.
It's actualy If... tier.
Aka SMT2 but actually balanced so you can cheese it with status bullets and Gaian/Messian fusion.
Esper is not a jackass, it's thanks to him that you're getting Devil Summoner translation, faggot.
And from what I talked with him, they ran into some critical bugs later in the game, and currently Devil Summoner has priority.
>I didn't see that. I saw it as him calling everyone selfish while ignoring himself.
Okay... your post is one of the most chaos favoritist things I've ever seen. And you're seeing law even worse than the game shows them. Which is hard. Go watch the scene where Johnathan sacrifices himself again. After criticizing people for being selfish he says he realizes that he was always one of the people he's criticized all along, even though he didn't want to admit it. And the reason he brought up that he thought other people were selfish is that he was leading in to talking about himself. He starts talking about his own flaws and weaknesses. And that leads to why he decided he should sacrifice himself. Because if he actually wants to not be selfish he has to willingly walk to his death for what he thinks is right if its required of him.
Which makes sense on law. For chaos, there's no coherent logic whatsoever for why walter does the same thing.
And on chaos when he dies, he's not just talking about human desires in general. He's talking more specifically about extreme chaos ones. He's literally blown away by how extremely selfish you became, and is basically saying that he sees you as getting on a path of more and more indulgence that you'll never be happy with, and worries that chaos influence will do this to humans. Which mastema hints at too. That by becoming chaos, you'll learn why insane indulgence is bad and eventually come back to neutral.
Has anyone ever played Shin Megami Tensei Imagine. Recently got really interested in it, then heard the NA servers were down. I can't speak moon, but is there a patch or something for english on the JP servers?
>no one cares about it enough for there to be an english patch
Someone is working on a menu translation patch. I remember them saying the entire game could be easily translated, but that there probably aren't many people interested, so a menu translation will do.
Actually there is a reason.
Walter fears becoming like Jonathan and becoming covetous of what he has and wanting it to remain the same. Seeing Kiyoharu and Kenji in the other worlds also helped him to decide as well, and so he sacrifices himself for that reason. He also does it because he believes Flynn is the one who can truly lead the strong.
Also it is about how Merkabah/Jonathan doesn't understand what anyone wants. He talks about how all things follow God's order during the battle, while humans and demons try to defy it. He literally can't understand why they wouldn't follow God. That is why his final words is to ask what they desire.
I hate both routes anyways. The most I like about them is the optional quests with Minako and seeing Azazel spread knowledge because he believes humans are superior to Angels, unlike Lilith who is a bitch.
He did plenty wrong. Mostly with how inefficient his group was and how carelessly they tossed around and made red pills.
No surprise they were running low even before the Reactor was activated.
I've watched the scene. That "logic" is so ridiculous its confusing that they expected us to believe he would have it. No one who decided that they love max freedom so they can indulge and the strong can do as they please would decide that that means that they should kill themself young just to not become old. If he didn't mind dying, he could have just done what he wanted in mikado til they killed him for it. And even if they did, they might want to die at like 40, not 18. So its bizarre that they declare that both law and chaos characters would sacrifice themselves, but neutral is the odd one out... and this is a good thing, yet no one stopped to think about it? What's more, he never even asks whether its actually necessary for him to sacrifice himself. Since doing so seems more defeatist than someone chaotic should be. Or whether there's not some other gaian who they could find who would do it. Things you would expect them to actually want to know.
What would have been cool for that scene is if they provided a reason for one of you to have to, and then you had to fight Walter as a boss over who had to. Instead they just had that clusterfuck which made it look like they were trying to poorly mirror johnathan.
And merkabah is the one saying he can't understand, not johnathan. And that's more an expression of dismay than it is straight up saying he has no clue how they work. Like the chaos characters who whine that someone as strong as you should agree with them
Was mastema really manipulating tayama? The game seems to imply more that tayama was doing his own thing, and mastema after coming to tokyo decided that he would uphold it long enough to keep the humans safe until the ceiling is lifted. Mastema being neutralish, and tayama being "the bad version of law," implies some discrepancy.
Also, Mastema had demons working for him willingly, but tayama had to enslave them.
>, I doubt Mastema gave much of a shit for the people in Tokyo,
What? His entire thing was that he tried to fuck over the other angels to protect the people of tokyo, and saw them as individuals, whereas the other angels only saw total result.
Except its Jonathan who questions what it is that they desire. Its in his voice that it speaks in its final moments, just like it is Walter on Law. Walter is more than willing to die for what he believes in, otherwise he wouldn't join Lilith.
Even the Four Archangels know that he joins Lilith and basically say they expect him to give up and come groveling back to God for forgiveness once they sees the Lord's might.
Sacrificing yourself for what you believe in is something done in chaos as well. Minako does it in her own quest, admits that she's wanted to take a red pill for awhile, but uses a method that has a very high chance of erasing her to summon Ishtar so she can restore life to Tokyo. Only a part of mind still exists inside Ishtar in the end.
The guys who actually whine about that are those scrub Gaens in Tsukiji. Belial just laughs at God's paradox, and Walters voice is the one who speaks through Lucifer and says that since they were stronger that means they were right, and there are quests with some demons you face that believe in world of STR but are impressed when you kick their ass. Though some like Cerberus gets frustrated when you keep hunting him and his horde down.l
Both entities are likely influenced by the souls they ate, as the two are implied to be the Great Spirit of Spite and Goodwill that supports Hope, but the Demon Lord and God's Car acquire them and prevents Masakado from uniting with his body on Neutral.
Mastema believes he is following the Lord's will. Everything he does is for the Lord's sake. That's why he is most joyous when you go Neutral, as it will mean humans will come to follow God of their own will instead of just being born to follow him blindly.
No matter how manipulative or sneaky Mastema is, he is always loyal to the Lord. Heck for nearly 1500 years in Mikado Gabriel has to wait just to free the other three after Michael let her go because she was useless by herself, instead having to rely on Lilith to mess things up in Mikado before she could send someone down there to save them.
Being law doesn't automatically mean you want the law ending. If it did, then you'd only be able to take neutral demons on the neutral ending. Mastema in IV has demons working for him as a kind of closer version to mythology mastema. In context it means that he is law, and the demons are chaos, but that averages out to neutral. In clipped wings he insists that he thinks the lord's true desire is a good version of a neutral world.
Why would he be doing something different than them then instead of just trying to do what they are doing better. His character in Iv is way different than in SJ, and it makes it pretty clear that regardless of personal goals, he does actually believe in neutral.
The ironic part about that is that if lilith didn't do that, you'd never have come down to stop them, and so they could probably have a more assured victory. Unless we're assuming they're so weak that actually fighting tayama was off limits. Which makes them worshipping their own strength ind of funny.
I'm just getting into this series of games with Soul Hackers. How do you deal with death spells? I've just gotten to the mall area and it seems like death spells are becoming more and more standard for a demon's spellset.
Actually all the demons in Midtown are Law aligned. The Tengu even complains about how Mastema is the big shot in Tokyo and he doesn't like it.
Though those grunts of Tayama who learned that Lilith is a demon suggest that Mastema does usually does the talking with demons.
Demons are not always consistent between games and in fact can have a entirely different personality in another. Now some bigshots generally are but others are not.
Tiamat was a bitch in SJ, but the one in the IV challenge quest doesn't even understand why humans would take part in the RedxWhite tournament since humans always lose and die and she can't back out due to a contract.
Asherah is Asura in SJ, while the two are different demons in IV.
>Except its Jonathan who questions what it is that they desire. Its in his voice that it speaks in its final moments, just like it is Walter on Law.
I've watched that scene about 20 times. That's not what happens. Johnathan's voice is not the one who asks what humans desire. Merkabah asks sadly why humans and demons struggle to deviate from the lord's will, when its obviously right. Johnathan addresses just you specifically, asking what it is that YOU desire, implying that your selfishness is out of control even more than normal non-law characters.
And the issue isn't that its impossible for anyone on any side to sacrifice themself. Its that it specifically makes the law and chaos characters do it, but NOT neutral. Which comes off as very bizarre, since you'd think that the implication of it then is that something about the outliers causes it. Which if we're not going by logic that allows everyone to, you'd hardly expect it to place chaos closer to law than neutral. Even if you were selfish and chaotic, that doesn't mean you want to let your friends die to become the arm of a schoolgirl you don't even know.
Also, you know, the fact that in II the archangels minus gabriel support the "bad version of law." Yet in IV we suddenly are supposed to trust them to do the good version? IVs story even literally parodies IIs, yet randomly ignores the precedent set by the angels. Even worse than this is that in nocturne even gabriel wanted muh wurld of STR, so by this point we can more or less expect the archangels to be on a totally new side every week.
Of course, Zayin in II says that the angels had the right motives, they just started doing it wrong, and it ended up badly. Which is a bit vague as to what that means. Its hard to rationalize the center as being well intentioned, or even lawful.
If I remember right, doesn't Flynn's previous incarnation merge with Masakado when he becomes the dome?
Both Kiyoharu and Kenji survive in the Law and Chaos routes previously, so their next reincarnations likely die.
Don't forget DDS, where they overwrite their human selves and eat a bunch of humans and plan on making Tokyo Millenium all over again.
Gabriel is the only one who realizes they are wrong, but is too much of a coward to stand down and try to get them to stop, so she just fights you to the death.
IV's story is a reference to I, not II.
All the core plot points from SMT1 are repeated in SMT4.
Heck, hero/law hero/chaos hero names are also references to Kaneko name for the SMT1 ones.
And finally both law and chaos hero designs in SMT4 are based the SMT1 ones.
>still not using the gif for the OP
I would like to say "no P4" but they still have to show off DAN properly. P5 gameplay. Literally anything about SMTxFE. Brazil is already dead to me.
Cry myself to sleep.
Nintendo doesn't attend TGS, and I'm pretty sure IntSys is the one developing. Best you could hope for is a Direct near the event, which is doubtful since they've been doing game promotion in waves, so they won't start pushing another set of games big until Bayo2, Smash, etc. are all released.
Actually, in regards to DDS I think Gabriel doesn't so much not do anything out of cowardice, as she realises it's not the big 4's world, and so fights with the intent of losing.
It's a shame they fucked P1P's music so hard they don't even have enough tracks for everything. Like the 'awakening' music is just the battle music, so because it doesn't play a unique track in P1P you can't put it in the patch.
I like Atlus but I hate them too.
He was doing something he shouldn't be doing, producing the game.
You should never let a fucking composer become the main director and producer of something, especially if he has 0 experience doing something like this.
And yet they made him the mian director and producer of P1P.
Imagine fucking an angel like pic related.
Having sex with her while she hugs you not only with her arms but with her wings too (you on top in the missionary possition) and feeling her soft warm wings on your back, feelin protected
would you like it?
>tfw you will never have sex with an angel
El-a'awer. talbis iblis.
Gulshan-i raz. zat-i shaitan.
As someone who only played a handful of SMT games and just recently got into Nocturne again, I'm genuinely curious:
What is considered the worst SMT game? I'm not looking to start shitposting against any particular game, but it really feels like SMT is generally a pretty solid series without any huge letdowns.
The archangels in II did work on the assumption that they were doing God's will but they misunderstood his words. They didn't want to wait and created their own version of the Thousand Year Kingdom
Tackling Beelzebub underlevelled, with Serph's MA/VI completely untouched has made fighting Beelzebub actually interesting. Every single Megidolaon and Death Flies one-shots him by dealing about double his HP in damage. Just wish the fucker would let me throw up a couple of Suku/Rakukajas as insurance. He was a real breeze last time.
Good luck with that.
On my end, in Nocturne, I just beat Ose and cleared Assembly of Nihilo.
I'm gonna go try to beat the crap out of Hell Biker, steal his Candelabra, and grind/explore 2nd Kalpa.
It's my 2nd playthrough. I know what I'm in for.
I also know I'll need to stockpile Beads like hell. Because I AM planning on taking on that cursed hallway. 200K free Macca. Plus, if I know what demons appear there, I could potentially GRIND there. Yeah, grind on Tower of Kagutsuchi demons when I'm around level 32, wonder how much exp that'll get me...
Which ending? Neutral? White?
I'll think of something. Just need to know their weaknesses again before I even try anything.
But let's say that I DO succeed in ONE battle against, say, 2 Nyxes?
How much exp would that net me, if I'm level 33?
Ah, Soul Hackers. Thought you were playing IV.
Was the ending worth it?
I dunno. I'm fairly sure that you get less XP the higher the level difference is between you and the enemy, but I don't know if it works in reverse too. Only one way to find out.
If it works in reverse, I'm gonna be pissed.
>mfw it actually works and I get mountains of exp and Macca this early on
Do you think I spent long enough farming those high pixies?
Oh, Heat's got that one covered.
So how much of the music in Persona PSP is different than Revelations? I've only heard the battle theme from each (PS1 sound way more fitting). Any other songs that have comparisons I can listen to?
Nah, third playthrough. I'm intending on actually taking Demi-fiend on this time, hence the hardcore farming. Once I max out Cielo's LU I need to decide what I want to dump the rest of Serph's levels into. I was thinking VI because relying on Arahabaki reinforcements for VI Noise is annoying, but at the same time LU noise farming is pretty tedious. At least I have plenty of shows I can watch.
Mostly 100% different, Meguro turned atmospheric tracks that are fitting for megaten and replaced it with j pop thats even worse then p3/p4
he did remake some tracks, too bad they dont have that organic sound to them anymore, like the maki theme and nanjo teme for example
>the sfc port of 1+2 just got localised
I think you're thinking of Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei. That's a remake of the original Megami Tensei and Megami Tensei 2 which were on the NES.
Shin Megami Tensei and Megami Tensei are different.
Only the first Shin Megami Tensei has been translated on iOS.
Ah, my mistake. I knew they were different, but I thought it was an SMT compilation, not just MT.
And it's a bummer that the second game isn't translated. Would the first and if be worth getting on there though?
That was awesome, first time beating SMT I /smtg/!
I didn't think it would be this good.
Time travel alterations.
Deal with it.
Hey /smtg/, I haven't been here in a while. Is there a place I can see the current progress on Debi Summoner translation?
So should I just give up on waiting and buy this game?
Which riff is your favorite?
tbh she uses Marin Karin mostly when bufu skills won't work on the enemy, in which you could just set her to conserve sp.
this never happened to me, well she never really got to the point of sp depletion because OP as fuck
Is it bad that I literally know what most demon cards will fuse into if fused with other demon cards i already have, how to get reiji and how to start the sqq all off the top of my head? seriously I'm a walking persona 1 walkthrough
It's not unusual to get obsessed with such a naturally addictive game.
I'm on my first playthrough of DDS1 currently (just finished Ajna) and I'm also neglecting Heat and Cielo. But I'm wondering if that mutual karma skill is worth it in case I need to use either of them in case of an emergency.
I got Mutual Karma on Gale and Cielo, since I use them on and off (using Cielo as a buff/debuff machine, bosses don't seem to cast Dekaja/kunda often). My only complaint with the game is that if you fully explore dungeons, the bosses end up being kinda easy.
Well at that point in the game, nobody else is going to leave your party so it's entirely up to you. Only reason I'm not touching Heat and Cielo in this playthrough is because I'm dumping all of the Noise items I find into them so that they stick all of their levels into ST/AG. Makes grinding for Demi-fiend a lot easier.
There's nothing to spoil in regards to Demi-fiend, though. Now, if he were not up to Ajna and I mentioned
crucial details about say, Gale, that would be a really shitty thing to do. Besides, he's a bonus boss. I don't recall bonus bosses in many of the RPGs I've played having any actual plot relevance outside of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
Are you sure? I'm fairly certain they always come with the same skills equipped and mantras mastered. I don't think it changes depending on level because Gale always joins at level 20.
Gale's level always equals Serph's when he joins
And I know they differ. For example there's a playthrough on YT where he has ailment mantra mastered when he joins, yet when
my dadgot to him, he didn't have those, but had hunt mantras
Also I remember on my first playthrough that I made Cielo a healer so he must've had some healing spells when he started, but the second time I played he didn't have any healing mantras
Huh, that's weird because in every playthrough he's joined me at level 20 with some Force and other misc mantras mastered. Usually by the time he joins my party I'm a few levels above that.
Gale and Cielo are at level 20 and 30 respectively when you get them. Unless Serph is at a higher level then they appear at Serph's level. The mantras depends on what level they are when you get them. The higher the levl, the more they mastered if I'm not mistaken.
Well, it's most similar in the sense that it's a first person dungeon crawler, but the battle system, atmosphere, fusion system are all different, among other things. If you liked SJ mostly for its strange and alien atmosphere, I wouldn't recommend it. SH does have a very nice "the future from the 90s" vibe going on.
If by "waiting for SMT4" you mean that you're European and are waiting on that release, then definitely give it a try. It's gonna be a long while before that comes out.
>The higher the levl, the more they mastered if I'm not mistaken
Well maybe it is dependant on level, but amount of mantas seems to be the same. In fact I think he always gets three force mantras and a death mantra, but his other 1 and 2-level mantras are different
You'll definitely get Yokai Watch before us, at least!
It does for Sera, Serph, and Heat. Fuck Serph, Heat deserved Sera more.
What are you asking, Anon?
P3 (FES and PSP)
P4 (Vanilla and Golden)
I'll be trauma tier once I finish KMT. Just made it to Valhalla last time I played.
iOS are based on GBA and don't have more content aside from Visionary Items ONLY in SMT1. SMT2 on GBA had no new content compared to PSX and was a straight up udowngrade. If... on iOS is PSX version since it never had GBA one.
Basically go for SNES versions.
Me and another guy who's also working on Devil Summoner PSP programming part are currently working on SMT1 PSX version, later we'll be doing SMT2 and If...
Also Gideon is releasing If... later this year for SNES and 1.1 update for SMT1 with bugs fixed and updated translation.
KMT is two games.
Best Megaten: The one you hate
Worst Megaten: The one you love
Impossible, all of them loop on my end and I triple checked that.
Anyone else had similar issue? I'm curious to what could be cause.
Which parts are too low? DebiSama 1 told me that Black Market is a tad too low and I think I heard someone saying Ice Castle is too low as well.
I didn't really change volume at all, it's untouched from OST's volume.
And even still, vanilla P1P is way too loud.
I never abandon projects that I started and I did tell you guys when I left that it would continue. Just because it was in a limbo for some time doesn't mean it was abandoned. Esper is the man who should be credited for this.
The game is still 2D made up of only 2 sprite animations for all dungeons.
The "straight" sprite for what you're looking at and the "transition" one for when you rotate.
I like SNES megatens but they are hardly definitive.
The GBA ones are butchered though and I'd never recommend them to anyone. Visionary Items are in the OP pastebins anyway so no point to play a vastly worse version just for them.
>not the pharmacy song from P1 PSX
>not the velvet room song from P1 PSX
That's what the filename is a reference to.
Thanks for posting the guy voiced by Sugita as well. It reminded me he once got into trouble last year for an event for a upcoming anime because he made too many Megami Tensei jokes.
Imagine is possibly the best SMT, in its own way. Although it's certainly no dungeon crawler.
Probably the worst thing about the game is the prevalent cash shop bullshit, but the player-run economy was thankfully a very viable workaround.
Real shame that it's no longer localized. I have no idea how well it fares in Japan, community economy and all.
He's a big Megami Tensei fan.
Pic partially related.
BECAUSE IT'S A DEATH FROM ABOVE
FLYING IN ON THE WINGS OF DESTRUCTION
WITH FREEDOM IN OUR EYES
T'S A DEATH FROM ABOVE AND EVERYBODY DIES
It at least has more content than the English version and I posted videos about it some threads ago.
And you get to fight the Amatsu before facing Amaterasu.
And he voices Raidou, Raido, Daisuke, Boy Nemechi, and Madame Ginko.
This is mine.
Of course I am! It's undeniable! Denying it is denying ME, Son of Man!
>Not wanting to coexist with them.
Worse kind of demon. I shall strike to down to protect the nation!
I am BEYOND mad right now. I got done with my first play through of Nocturne (Yeah, yeah I know, 2014 hasn't played Nocturne yadda yadda yadda) and I got fucked into the bad ending. I look it up and I guess I COULD have gotten the normal neutral ending, but I didn't, and all because I said "Yes" when that twitching crone Aradia asked me if I was afraid of suffering.
I mean, is this fucking real life!? Of course I'm afraid of suffering! And it was just three god damn words that caused this crappy ending! Even if I showed no fear, how the fuck would that change the god damn ending?
God damn fuck this shit! I hate it when I have to go to YouTube just to see a decent ending to a decent story!
Still a perfect game. I'd give it a 9/10
Make multiple saves.
I always knew this game had 7 endings so i managed to avoid Demon ending.
Nocturne has notoriously shit endings. That's why people beat off over tde. Its the only ending that is even remotely passable, so they pretend they ignore how barely it manages. Anyone going back from overclocked or SJ where they show cool surreal pictures will just wonder why the ending is a character telling you what will happen in a sentence, then credits.
Because no one wants to side with Lucifer.
And because no one knows about the Extra Final Boss fight before they play the game.
>Coexisting with demons --> having a demon girlfriend.
>Coexisting with demons --> having an actual Jack Frost you can hug
Why would you NOT want any of that?!
That's one of the problems with the series in general. Some demons end up in random places based on their race when realistically its the wrong alignment for them. Why are we meant to believe that all trees are light-law? Dunno. Because they're trees. Why is aliester crowley neutral law? Because he's yoma apparently. I wouldn't take a precursor / inspiration to laveyan satanism who openly declared morals imaginary and who said everyone only has to comply with their own path to be law. But apparently so.
>Not going World of Mag.
Can a drawfag please draw me Flynn using almighty magic or multiple magic types all at once, with the caption "World of MAG, filthy Luxurer" or something along those lines?
Would be great to use it against people who post about a so-called World of STR. Like these.
Persona Nyarly does fit to be Law though.
He is part of the natural order of the humanity's collective consciousness. He only exists because humanity and it's flaws exist. He only does what humanity's collective wishes compel him to do.
He is as Law as you can get.
Chaos is in his name, though. He has some aspects of Law and Chaos by virtue of what he represents.
