What do you expect from a game that allows sharing of nodes on an client-side basis and drops claws, venom sacs, fangs, etc like candy to the point that even casuals would have stacks of them?

Exotics are also still too easy to acquire since ArenaNet didn't fix their acquisition. In fact they made it easier by putting badges of honor into achievement reward chests, nerfed the amount of dungeon tokens used to purchase exotic armor from the dungeon vendors back at launch and never reverted that nerf, and exotic crafting only requires 5 T6 materials per piece. There's no point to dressing your character up in the armor that is crafted on your way up to level 400 and the skins only need to be acquired once before they are added to the wardrobe, no reason to craft them once that happens.

Why? Because this game isn't as strict as other MMORPGs' leveling curves. Even without EotM farming, leveling up is easy so why should you waste gold on buying level 55 rares? Most dungeon parties won't accept characters under level 80 unless you're the only non-80 in there and that's if the level 80's aren't ZERKER ONLY PING GEAR ON JOIN 10,000 AP OR KICK!

Crafting is only beneficial, not profitable. It's still the only way to acquire celestial gear and ascended weapons without RNG being involved through weapon/armor boxes and world boss events like Triple Trouble and Tequatl the Sunless.

There's also the Mystic Forge. It certainly didn't help this game's crafting system to have so many exotic weapon recipes in the Mystic Forge instead of in the crafting disciplines with a crafting level requirement to acquire them. Maybe crafting would have been profitable if instead of adding stand alone weapons into the Mystic Forge they added them as recipe drops from dungeons, WvW, sPvP, etc and required level 400 to craft them.

Learn when they do Agony attacks and dodge them. The only application of Agony you can't avoid with skill is on the boss levels and those times always offer the ability to res, which you can avoid even needing by properly timing your healing skill.

You can get Ascended Trinkets for Guild Commendation + Gold, you can also get them as random drops from WvW Rank Up Chests. You can get Ascended items for fewer Laurels if you buy them in WvW, but you also need Badges of Honor.

Actually, I make most of my gold specifically by crafting. I buy up a tons of salvage mats on TP for a low enough bid, then refine them and sell. Can make about 30-80s per stack of Valuable Metal Scraps.

Also, you can get your daily couple of gold by selling the time-gated crafting items, such as the Ascended mats, or that new Maudrey backpiece ingredients.

Join a decent guild, run a Dungeon Speed Tour. AC123 can be done in under 30 mins, and including Exotic PVT token-salvage items and loot, profits you about 7.6g+ in those 30 minutes. Pretty good ratio, if you askk me.

Other dungeon paths could also be done in 10-20 mins. See CoF, SE, etc....

Arah p1 and Arah p2 are perhaps the best time to gold ratio for dungeons in the entire game, and the fact you can trade tokens for salvage-rares makes it even better. 15mins for 3.25g, sounds good to me! 30 mins for 6.50g is even better!

Of course, don't forget CoE, with its chance to drop Charged Cores and Lodestones, AND the ability to salvage token-rares, making it one of the most profitable dungeons in the game.

I know people who make 50g/day from running short-dungeons alone, and it only takes about 2 and a half hours with a competent team.

And no, they do not FGS-exploit. They use Frost Bow.

Tequatl gives nice loot, and the same with Wurm. As far as I'm aware, those are also the only 2 world bosses worth commenting. Although if you really want to get into specifics, the events which follow capturing some of the God temples, tend to be the reward in and themselves. See: Temple of Melandru, Temple of Grenth, etc...

However, Breaking the Ice is also a great source of champions if a zerg is commanded effectively.

His nostrils flared as he stared into the flame absentmindedly, but with a quick blink and a subtle sly scrape of his teeth over his lip, he rose and shook out the matchflame.
He removed his leather hat and slung it onto a coatrack, expertly landing it on a hook. He was rolling his shoulders - trying to shrug off the bandolier around his torso - when he heard light "tok"s on the door behind him. He turned with an even wider smile and approached it, hanging his bandolier on the coatrack as he had intended. Facing the door, he quickly pawed his face and straightened a cuff in frivilous attempts to tidy himself for his company.
Eager Tristian reached for the knob and turned it, pulling it towards him. His night began with the mechanical drumming of tumblers, and a squeak of the hinge.
What awaited on the other side, looking up at him with bright violet eyes and a demure curl at the end of her beaked lips, was Sajjica.

Animation glitch left me all sparkly. The same sort of sparkles you see on loot to pick up. I'm not even sure how an animation glitch like that would even happen in the first place, as that animation is simply never rendered on player characters. Maybe it was some other animation that just looks like that?

Her thick body rose up a little beyond his knees. Without a word, she hugged them.

Tristian let out a light, weak laugh and pretended to stumble. She only hugged tighter as to not let him fall.

He gave her a few gentle movements and patted her head, and she took it as a sign to loosen her grip. Tristian knelt in front of her and searched her eyepools which danced with candlelight, unable to contain the glee she enkindled in his heart. Swiftly, like a mother eagle shading her young with her wings, he enveloped her in a tight embrace.

They held it. They giggled, collectively embarrassed, though their faint blushing blended well with the incandescence of the candles.

"I've missed you," Tristain said. His voice flowed out of him like the ebbing tide, and no less deep and powerful. Sajjica nodded upwards, brushing cheek to cheek to seek a temporary home on his shoulder. "And you. Always," she uttered from behind him, her small voice cracking in its softness.

With a warm sigh, Tristain let go. He locked eyes with her for a little longer before giving her a squeeze around the girth of her waist. Sajjica wriggled and smiled at him, ears curling in, but provided no resistance. "Come on," Tristain muttered in a friendly command. He held his squeeze around her and lifted her from the floor as he rose. Her pudgy legs kicked about and she held in a squee, and she gripped his strong arms tightly as he carried her to the bed.

He set her down gently on the foot of it first, and then crawled beside her to turn and slide up to the backboard. He bowed out his arm, and that was all the invitation Sajjica needed to scramble up and wedge herself under it. He curled his arm around her, resting on her chubby belly, and she hooked her arms around his to hold it close to her.

I've had that same glitch following looting several times now. Not quite sure what causes it, so I can't really replicate it consistently.

Pretty sure it's client-side only, like the bird from swoop getting stuck on GS rangers or eles having hands constantly on fire/spewing flames from their mouth continuously.

Tristain sucked in a quick breath to prepare, and nodded once in return.

He let her go and slowly pushed himself up farther against the backboard. Sajjica squirmed from her cozy nest and stood. Tristain watched as the candlelight wrapped around her, illuminating her voluptuously plump and blubbery curves. She began to undress, timidly undoing knots and ties and holding each article out beside the bed before dropping them. Soon, she was entirely disrobed, even down to the ribbons she kept in her hair which now flowed down her back and stopped above the curve of her soft rump, and was split on the sides by her short, supple ears.

She turned her head to look back at him. Her kappafaced lips had lost their smile, but they remained so confidently neutral. In this moment, she was a baroque painting come to heart-fluttering life.

He stared back at her, with equal assurance of the coming deed. As he held out his hands and laced his fingers above his lap, she turned away and maneuvered her heavy self over him. Finally straddled over his waist, squeezing his hips with her trunk-like legs, she squatted and gently settled her rump in his palms.

An obloid ovoid, slick with birthing slime and intensely warm to the touch, was slowly being squeezed out. Sajjica continued to grunt and quake and squirm and finally -

The egg was freshly laid.

Sajjica panted. Panted and shook, staring out with wild eyes. In the stunned silence, Tristian slid his palms out from under her rump. The object shone in the candlelight. Glistened. It was a perfect egg, slathered his lover's juices.

He smiled. He grinned. He cherished it.

"Look," he said, with hastened cadence.

He bumped her shoulder with his cupped hands.

"Look!" he repeated with an elated chuckle. He quickly coughed and muted his boisterousness, swallowing and smiling. Sajjica looked over her shoulder, her long silky hair cascading to the side. Upon setting her eyes on the egg, she giggled breathlessly.

"You've done it."

Tristian simply beamed at her. Sajjica huffed in bewildered delight again and tenderly probed at his hands with hers. Her eyes flicked up to his as he rolled the wet egg into her hands. The bond between there gaze was magical enough to wake another dragon.

Holding the egg, Sajjica scooted up his body until she rested atop his chest. Tristian nestled his chin beside her head and snaked his arms around her stomach, embracing her entirely. He chuckled warmly, his soft, welcoming grin spanning ear to ear. A kiss from his lips was planted on Sajjica's flushed cheeks, then another on the apex of her ear.

"What shall we do with it?" she said timidly, holding it before her reverently.

"We're going to put it on the shelf, with all the others," Tristian murmured in her ear, kissing it again on the soft inner flesh. Her ears wiggled, and she giggled, wincing away from the tickling sensation of his stubble.

"I'm so proud of you."

Zerk not only does the damage faster, it does more period. Conditions cap at 25 applications (or max duration for burning and poison) so even in idle situations you're only ever going to do that much damage. Probably while a zerk warrior does twice the damage in half the time.

Ye olde animation locking wasn't (pic related), but that's been kill for a long while now. Aside from guardian GS which I'm not sure how to lock but have seen people do it.

And I've had similar happen like that guard1 skill happen in PvP. Had a scepter ele's auto glitch out like that and stay locked on me even after they swapped elements and the like. Made it hard to know when they were actually back in air (without looking) but made them easy to track at least.

Unfortunately you don't really have enough dungeon tokens to buy anything other than a hat, boots, or gloves from the Citadel of Flame vendor for those carvings, the CoF vendor has items with Berserker stats, which you'll want. So there's that. One free item for you!

Also, remember to log in to all of your characters so their money/tokens/karma gets uploaded into your account wallet.

Exchange those gems for a spot of gold, that should be enough to get you the right gear buying it from the TP. Not counting any fancy runes or sigils.

I like the idea of being revealed as soon as the animation begins. This is how it is in 90% of games. They don't let you attack from stealth for massive damage without any fucking warning.

You know, the retarded way stealth works in gw2 makes me wonder. If a thief timed a backstab absolutely perfectly so that the animation started up, and his stealth ended before the attack landed, would it reveal him?
