Chie is the first female you encounter in the game. Pretty lackluster, but a good 'nerdy' type overall. An interesting girl who's strong-willed and won't be hard to get along with.

Yukiko is more of a Yamato Nadeshiko type, a subset of japanese tropes that indicate she's a pure maiden. Very stereotypical and bland but a good choice for weebs who care about mutual virginity.

Kanji will eat your man essence. He is the hottest party member. His ambiguous sexuality makes way for much speculation and he would probably experiment with anal beads.

Yosuke is the common sidekick. There is not much to be said about such a ruckus-causing character. He will not abide to Law. Commonly found rolling in trashbins.

Naoto is objectively the best girl. She is smart and logical, and therefore would theoretically live in a relationship of Law with you. Her bust size is appealing due to the nurturing aspects of female breasts induced through mammary feeding in infancy.

Teddie is a being created from the desire to be loved. He was a shadow. Now he's a mascot. That does not make sense. Many fun times are had between him and the party. A creator of wacky antics.

Well she's not really a slut, and her personality's a reaction to being liberated from a performance schedule at a young age. Her flirtatious nature is a reaction to an environment that made her cram it all in while being a walking sex symbol, everyone knows when you break out of total control you overload on what you couldn't do before. Here's it forgivable since over the year she grows out of it.

Never played a Persona game, tried to start with P3P but I was an idiot and got six hours in and didn't save and my PSP died and I'm not doing all that BS again so soon, so I decided to start anew with P4. Should I play NTSC release emulated, undub emulated, official PSN PS3 release, or buy a Vita just for P4G? Do either of the official releases have Japanese voice acting? Does it matter, is the dub fine? Is the extra content in P4G really worth an entire Vita purchase when I only want 2 other games?

You can download an undub for the emulation, but frankly the dub is very competent. Well, the Golden dub is, the old one is mostly alright but has a few dodgy voices.

Golden is slightly easier but it adds a metric shit-ton of new stuff. New events, a new dungeon, tons and tons and tons of new conversations and dialogue, and you a couple of extra months to play.

Start by emulating FES, either dubbed or undub depending on your taste. Then emulate P4. Golden is not worth a Vita unless there are a lot of games you want.
