That just seems like your interpretation more than anything. Sure, Buu has some pretty good regenerating powers, but SSJ3 Goku was toying with him the entire time. One full powered Kamehameha would've surely done the trick, even at the cost of his remaining time

Buu was playing as well, though. Goofing around and mirroring his moves. Fat buu was never remotely desperate fighting Goku then.
Same with the kid buu fight, Kid buu was plain stronger than SS3 and toyed with him the entire time, even goku noticed this.

I haven't seen that much change in the enemy AI. Very rarely they'll go full on "fuck you" mode but that happened before too, they're still pretty weak overall and will patiently wait for their turn (but attack immediately before you can lock onto them, which is pretty rude)

Here's a fun little bug: If you use Sword of Hope the moment you pick up a Dragon Ball (You can do that with just about any move, as most people already know) you'll go back to normal but still have the sword in hand.
Now if you deliver the ball to the time machine (throwing the ball will get rid of the sword), you'll still have the sword and be free to do almost anything you want from combos to supers and even your other ult. Though it'll go away if you jump, get hit or enter a cutscene.It works best if you just use it with Trunks, since it'll look like he's using that instead of his normal sword, pretty sick.

I think it's pretty alright. The tracking is nuts and it shoots really fast for quite a long time, so even if they evasive out there's a pretty big chance you'll keep hitting them anyway, depending on their evasive.
The other version that just shoots all over the place also still bothers to try and aim in the general direction of your enemy, so it makes you really hard to approach and punish if they do get hit by any of its shots.

Vegeta's on the ass-end of an ass-beating a few times, gets his shit pushed in, recovers and gets a smidge stronger. Goku does the same and he goes from a bit weaker than Ginyu in base to stronger than any of Frieza's previous forms.
Krillin was barely able to handle Recoome, but suddenly he can push Ginyu's shit in when he's still stronger than what Vegeta was when he fought Recoome, even in his weakened state. Krillin doesn't have any Saiyan Zenkai bullshit to justify that either.
Hell, the Power Levels in general are just really fucking stupid. Frieza's already like 4 times stronger than Ginyu before transforming, but suddenly he goes up to a thousand Raditz, and then transforms again, and then AGAIN, and then that wasn't even half of his full power, etc. Goku's Zenkai jump outclassing all the ones Vegeta had, even in an older, less advanced healing pod. Piccolo gaining power and then becoming useless because Frieza was just dicking around. Piccolo being able to put up a fight against Frieza for a bit because Gohan and Krillin gave him some of their power. List goes on.
Dragon Ball's always had issues with power scaling, and has had them ever since King Piccolo was defeated. Because Toriyama almost never thinks ahead, he makes shit up as he goes and guidebooks desperately try to cover his ass.

While I agree that goku's power jump was completely nuts, (33x), it's not the same. He didn't suddenly grow stronger as the plot demanded with no explanation, the explanation was there.

Actually I agree, and I used to have some strong arguments about this because his power level post first transformation was never stated. A logical climb would be his power doubling each transformation for a total of 8Million, but Toriyama made it to be 120 million for no reason. In fact it's entirely because of this that the problem in 1) arises.
If Frieza's final power was 8M, then ther'es be no issue with powerlevels, for piccolo or goku or anyone else.
Also I should mention Frieza didn't "put up" any kind of fight, he just kicked frieza away and then Goku fired the Genkidama (manga).
Regardless, all the problems mentioned about the frieza saga stem from unbalanced changes in power level, BUT they at least tried to explain these changes and they had reasons behind them. In super a character gets stronger one moment and fights beings what should be so far beyond him they should kill them with a fart, for literally no stated reason. Everyone's jobbing all the damn time and it really destroys any tension in any fight. No point on getting worried if one character's getting beaten, because next episode it might be a 180° just because the heroes had to start winning now.

It only gets worse in the Cell and Buu arcs. Every time an explanation is attempted it just complicates things further because none of these things were made with any real foresight. This goes for Dragon Ball, for Z, for GT, for Super, for the movies, the games, the OVAs, everything.
And really nothing really compares to when Satan survived getting his shit kicked in by Omega Shenron.

Kind of. The ONLY REASON the explanation is inconsistent is because toriyama put his foot in his mouth regarding supplementary material by calling Frieza's power to be 120 million. The entirety of the problems stem from that.
If you only read the manga and never saw the charts, the final stated power level would be Frieza's 1M+ power at his first transformation. Estimate his final power being at 8-10 million and everything ends up rock-solid. Goku would get a zenkai boost of 2-3x power tops, he'd be using Kaioken x20 to match Frieza's final form at half power, and there'd be no discrepancies.
Now for the fights you mentioned, here's my opinion:

The full color manga clearly shows when Goku's using Kaioken, and it's not at the start when he's impressing everyone about how much stronger he's gotten (like fucking usual). Goku "had" to be in the millions when facing Frieza. Supplementary material is the stuff trying to make sense of this, not the other way around.
And while I hate doing this and had to actually look up the numbers again, Vegeta was at 24,000 vs. Cui (18,000). Vegeta himself, back at 18,000, survived getting blasted by a Goku who hit all the way up to 32,000 (Kaioken x 4), and was capable of holding his own against a Goku at 24,000 (Kaioken x3). He was stronger than Cui. And Goku was stronger than him, but compare the damage the two sustained in both encounters with these gaps in place.
The whole point is that the gaps in the numbers grow bigger, but depending on plot certain characters can tank them for a bit or get completely trashed with little consistency, especially with how big the numbers get. It's the difference of punching something with 50 pounds of force behind it vs 100, and then 900 pounds vs 1300. It's a smaller gap but a way bigger difference in raw numbers. The more zeroes you add to something the more the smaller numbers between them add up. This is why power levels are bullshit m8. They don't care about the small numbers and just how much the differences mean when numbers keep inflating.

Solved by him using kaioken x10 from the start (this is a subject of debate, a lot of people thought he was indeed using it from the start). That'd put him at a healthy 2-3M to fight Frieza's final from. I mean there's some wiggle room, because they don't state powers past 1M. No matter which interpretation you follow, Vegeta was well over 1M and got trashed, but goku was at 3M and wasn't.
The full color manga is colorized garbage that looks awful on pages drawn to be black and white, and holds no weight in this discussion in my opinion, and the b/w manga never really made it clear that goku was already using x10 until Kaioh said it.
Also, vegeta didn't get touched by Cui at all (in the manga). He dodged his attacks and then killed him. Seems reasonable with a full 6 radditzes over Cui. Also, vegeta wasn't "holding his own against Kaiokenx3 goku", he got completely trashed, so he fired a gallick gun. Vegeta at 18K couldn't touch goku at 24K.
All in all, save for a few known mistakes, I think the stated power levels in the manga were pretty freaking solid for an author who had to be corrected by his readers when he tried to say super saiyan multiplied your powers by only a factor of 10. It's a good thing he dropped those numbers though, there's no way he could have maintained any semblance of logic to them past Frieza.

There's very little debate. It only exists because some people want to justify the power level shit the manga goes through, though such a thing is never clearly said and later material confirms otherwise. This interpretation is, to me, like trying to claim that Gohan should be three years old when he headbutted Raditz, not four, because Gohan was originally three when he was introduced and his age was changed later. You're entitled to this opinion, but you're going to need to provide something other than assumptions that heavily extrapolate King Kai's dialogue and dislike of later material to give it any weight if you want to really convince anyone. Even Toriyama's half-baked ramblings, anything, just to show there's some actual official backing to this idea.

At the very least this statement implied that his aura was an indication of him using the technique. Which is consistent with how the Kaioken is portrayed in the manga, it's very rarely a subtle thing. The same Vegeta that just ended up on the ass-end of an ass-beating from Frieza was wondering if Goku had become a Super Saiyan, and Goku wasn't displaying any kind of aura when Vegeta made this statement. This leans far more heavily on Goku's base being above Vegeta's.
Lastly, compare the fight between Goku and Vegeta and then Vegeta and Cui. That's the thing, the aura of the kaioken only shows in some panels after he's stated to be using it, and there's aura in panels before that could indicate he was, or wasn't. During the frieza fight the kaioken aura isn't constant at all. So we can't really tell when he started using it. Pic related, goku fighting with Kaioken x10 and yet no aura shows.
The only times the kaioken aura showed was when he was dashing, and at the start of the fight, he also only had an aura on when he was dashing. Hence the debate. It was quite different from the kaioken use against vegeta.

I'm simply saying that if you don't know about toriyama's later statements, you could easily have thought Goku was using the kaioken from the start, and both his base power and Frieza's final power to be much lower than tori stated.

Beams in this series are very plot-powered, they are useless half the time and deadly the other half. The kame was used not to kill vegeta, but to shoot back his galick gun.

You're telling me Kaioken and x2 do jack shit to Vegeta other than surprise him because he was being a cocky shit, but then Goku bumps it up to 3 and he is now completly bodying him? Actually, it made perfect sense, mathematically.
Goku at Kaioken x2 was about 2 radditzes weaker than vegeta, 16K vs 18K. Enough to take vegeta by surprise and hit him around a bit, but vegeta was still stronger so he turned it around.
Going KKx3 put goku at 24K, which is a large difference in power. Makes perfect sense he bodied him.

Fighting at 70% is holding back. In both situations, goku was holding back, but frieza was holding back way more. I'm not trying to argue strict numbers here, I'm just saying that if we assume goku was weaker than piccolo and vegeta, and using kaioken from the start, then the whole fight along with his own zenkai makes a lot more sense. Goku getting a 3-5x zenkai is in my book much preferable to goku getting a 33x zenkai.

Eh, characters being wrong in their judgement isn't strange and happens often in DB, but it's all within acceptable parameters. Going from 6 or 7 to 10 is a large boost.
We can be extra generous and say goku was at 500K. It's a big zenkai, but not insane considering how utterly trashed he was when he was put in the pod. Now let's say goku was fighting at KKx5. That's half his full safe power, and a quarter of his full, dangerous power. Frieza's final PL would be 20M. Goku would be 25M as a super saiyan. I think the "sweet spot" would be between 3-5x zenkai boost. Since vegeta was probably at 1.5M - 2M when he got trashed by fridge. Because remember, Vegeta was stronger than Pickle, but only enough to be able to barely see the fridge beams, not to put up any kind of fight.
I think this is simply much better than toriyama's official "goku got a 33x zenkai boost" stance.

It's probably because it's mostly related to latency. With just Celine it's still extremely difficult to do because our connection is near perfect, but put an Aussie like Mary anywhere near it and I can easily do it with 2 balls.
