I'm aware of Artbook. It still doesn't change the fact that Hanzo suffers from the same problem Stratos once did: Being an amazing card with shit/weak targets.
All the Dragon Ninjas are mediocre to utter shit, the Armor Ninjas are all shit, and virtually every Ninja prior to Tsukikage and Gold were mediocre to utter shit because their effects had no synergy or advantage to be had.

Damn near everything involving Ninjas outside of the Empowerment/Gold play requires setup to get basic shit done, which didn't cut it then, and sure as hell doesn't now.

Disrupting plays and holding your opponent under Ghostrick Nights/resolving Quaking/etc , and direct swinging with the fields. It's easy to set up thanks to Doll, you just need to make Angel and search after resolving her effect in the end phase.
Vanish cockbocks a lot of outs once you get going.
They have a really slow start, but can grind pretty well thanks to the xyzs recurring, play they have a lot of consistency once you're off the ground.

The main problem Ghostricks have are a slow start like >>163375924 said, if you can get off your feet and get your engine going you're basically set. Ghostrick have excellent natural protection, handtraps, and recycling, but the first couple turns are the most painful ones.

Obviously, this is at odds with how the game is 'win on turn one or die' mentality, which is why they're not meta. But as long as you're not facing down top tier decks, it's a really good deck. Do your best to resolve Jiangshi, Doll, or Mary ASAP.

Eh, not really. Yugi has like a billion different Archetypes/Series under his belt, plus the fact that since it's a Character Deck and obviously not even a pet deck, I use the traditional broken shit in the decks like Pot, Graceful and the like to accelerate the living hell out of it.

On a side note, it's ironic as all hell that Yugi actually uses very few Spellcasters or Warriors to make a remotely decent Silent deck with, or useful LIGHTs for that matter.

Sometimes I try to make new character decks for certain characters and give them upgraded versions of cards to make it a challenge, but even then, the AI is so stupid you have to play in cheating mode where they draw 2 per turn, gain 1000LP per turn, and can normal summon twice per turn.
