So, Bitterblack Island.

Is every new mini-boss in it supposed to take a gorillion hits? I just fought a Elder Ogre, and unless I spam Blast Arrows his health bar barely moves even when using Tenfold Flurry or whatever it's called. It's the same shit with Garm, the Gorecyclops and just recently the Eliminator and Cursed Dragon. Everyone has a tremendous fucking HP bar.

Also, I'm playing in Hard Mode, and I keep dying to between one or three hits from these fuckers as well. It's a insane endurance round because my pawns manage to do literally nothing except acting like a meatshield.

What is the best general weapon affinity to have as a skill as a mystic knight? I'm honestly leaning towards Dark because of the crit bonus. Same question for the shield buff as well.

The skills I run for Mystic Knight are:

Getting them to be pure bow is easy. My ranger went pure bow without me even trying, and I was playing Assassin. He still uses daggers in tight hallways though which I like.

head morphs:

head000-008(male) and head100-108(female) are morphs for the head size slider

Depends on the boss, but you certainly can. Anyway the benefits are more than just pure tank. Blocking attacks with a shield is a lot easier than trying to time invincibility frames, and fighters are also much more mobile than warriors.

I see lots of people advising to go 1-2 nuke spells and the rest quick casts in a sorcerer pawn. But which spells are considered "nukes" and which ones "quick cast"?

Are the Bolide and Maelstrom tier spells the nukes?

Do any of these defeat X monster quests from the boards disappear if I advance the story? What about collect Y items (like war bugles)? Do I have to grind all this shit out before I move forward?

So with the Ur-Dragon, the idea is to get in as the Grace Period occurs and kill it within' that time frame? (Which has said to be 5~10 minutes).

Grace Period begins after he dies. When grace period starts, you have the length of it (about 10 minutes) to kill him and get your items.
