>Tips for new players
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

link related is a decent balanced MA/MK build for NG+ or whatever
Don't forget to rate, comment and subscribe :)
I posted mine first and my pic is more productive
Trying to acquire 3 more warrior skills for warrior. I can already do some other secondary weapon.
You forgot to post it in the dying thread.
>Make a forgery of the Wyrm ring
>Duke wants to give me a reward
>"This magic chest only opens to the ring"
>He waves his hand in front of the chest and nothing happens
>"yeah, hehe, magic is probably waning.."
If i do this (pic related)
I know i can be a sorcerer and a magic archer pretty well, but can i be a strider (or assassin?) with magic daggers?
Basically im making a sorcerer, i want to be a caster. But i want to be able to do other stuff also sometimes.
Also me and my pawn are going to use the same build, my plan is once we are 200 i can have the pawn be a strider sometimes and play a sorcerer for weapon buffs and have something kind of interesting. Primarilly im doing this to be a sorcerer though, and to have a sorcerer pawn, and train it to be good.
Is there a flaw with my plan?
Also should we be SS or S weight class?
Are cursed items the same item if I send it to someone as if I opened it myself? Or does it reroll it for the person who receives it?
I have an opportunism augment that I don't think I'll be making much use of
Information about getting 0 RC and rocks
The "rock" penalty occurs when you gift too many items in too short a time. It's 20 items within a day so your 21st and all items after that are rocked for 48 hrs. You can also get the "rock" penalty when you recover a save from an outside source. This is because the time sync is different than the one on your HD. The penalty lasts 48 hrs in most cases. It has been surmised that this was done to prevent people from illicitly using this to duplicate/recover gifted items.
>Is there a flaw with my plan?
Yes, why would you grind all the way to 200?
By the time you get there you'd be done with pretty much everything in the game.
I don't get you min/max autists.
>Finally get my Dark Lorica
>Ranger and Assassin only, Strider can't equip it
I probably should've checked that on the wiki beforehand
Enjoy wasting time and effort unnessecarily.
Is there a there a way to get around the Golem that blocks the path further into Witchwood? I guess i fucked up and missed a quest that auto failed since I went to Grandsoren first. Any exploits to get past to Golem or is my last resort Cheat Engine?
I think the Arisen killing themselves is probably symbolic of the desire to find a new Seneschal. We see Savan ripping the godsbane out of his chest as he passes the mantle on to the player. He's God, he could have just conjured it up, but instead he rips it out of his chest from the same spot you stab yourself with. This suggests he's tried, but failed to end the cycle. Perhaps they've taken the concept of god existing across all time and the Arisen's apparent suicide basically means that a new seneschal is guaranteed to be appointed some time across countless lifetimes. Kind of like signing your own retirement notice. Also, if you finish the game on NG+ Savan is replaced by your player character in the previous playthrough, meaning that even the Seneschal, despite being a godcreator, can't break the cycle and is well and truly powerless in the grand scheme of things.
Whats a good skill build for sorcerer? Im feeling that high bolide and seism are totally random and a huge time investment. I think ill keep only high maelstrom for a huge aoe and high gicel.
Also, if I get bored of sorcerer, can I switch to magick archer with no problem? I plan on playing pretty much only sorcerer/MA/MK.
What's the point of the Assassin? Am I missing something?
All the other classes have a pretty specific role and unique weapons they can wield, but not the Assassin.
Is it only so you can go sword+bow or daggers+shield? If I'm just going to use daggers+bow, should I just roll strider or ranger?
And why is bow damage so stupidly low right now? I can kill things ten times faster with my daggers, and I have the best equipment available to me right now.
Do enemies scale to your level in NG+ or something, or do they just plop you back in the beginning of the game like you're not going to one-shot everything that moves?
I'm so shit at playing dress up in this game
>Doing Lost and Found
>Accidentaly accept a random escort quest from the bulletin board that i didn't even want to do
>Later find out that if you accept that quest you bug Lost and Found for the rest of your playtrough and consequently lose out on Witch Hunt and all subsequent quests
Well fuck you too game.
>I've restarted 4 times now
>accidentally accept escort quest that I didn't want to do
>find out by pure chance that you can activate the notice board again and cancel the escort
>go to bbi at 60
>able to do ok damage in the first areas
>areas getting more layered and giving options
>one way has saurians on fire
>other way has some zombies
>even with the tail off the saurians take a while
>zombies go down easy, go that way
>some minotaur fuck that takes almost no damage from me
>my party manages to jump out a window and down a cliff while fighting him
>just jumping and spin2win on his head and jumping over him
>then running around him
>made and AI lock but took forever to kill him
>Ogre just down the stairs with 9 health bars
>takes even less damage
>jumps off a cliff when I get it to 3 bars left with its dropkick
Hope the ogre didn't have special loot. I also feel super underpowered but I'm only just finding level 1 weapons around here which are basically what killing the dragon gave me.
I would say anywhere between 40 and 60. Gear matters more than level, but your dragon weapons can get you through pretty much the entire thing if you keep them upgraded and are gud.
Assassin is absolutely viable BUT you will need pawns that do magic damage for Living Rapists and red phantasms.
>change your vocation at ANY time
>experiment and HAVE
>stats don't matter, gear does
Well how the fuck do you think I get that gear, dumbasses?
You do it with good stat growths, otherwise your damage will always be shit and why pure Magick Archer is shit
What do you do if the game crashes every time you try to load in? I dont want to have to start a new character again. I have verified the cache several times and im going to try to uninstall and reinstall.
This is my biggest and only problem with this game.
Oh, you started mage? You'll never have health or stamina or defense
Rolled an assassin for the whole game? Have fun being locked out of any magic class
Played a Magic Archer for eighty levels? Tie a noose
If you're not min-maxing for balance you get legitimately fucked
i don't know why people give so much of a fuck about stat growths, literally the only way you could actually meaningfully fuck it up is if you play mage for 200 levels and then decide you ONLY want to play warrior.
The stat differences from stat growths are NEGLIGIBLE WHEN ALL YOUR BBI GEAR IS GOLD FORGED
Because there is nothing outside a high gen online ur dragon where those small bonuses would actually add up.
You might shave off 2 seconds off a daimien kill with a properly min maxed character vs a regular character with top tier gear.
Best just to play mystic knight from 10-200
You'll get over 400 in attack, magick, defense and magick defense.
Their skills are good too and will easily defeat bosses; versatility in elements buff ensure you'll always do damage
A lot of people do play mage for most of their playthrough and then decide to switch to warrior or something, though. After doing one thing for a long time, an entirely different playstyle is appealing.
>pawn comes back
>first is 0RC & rock
>second is 40k and wakestone
>mfw cunts are just sending rocks to scare people
refer to this post
stat growths dont fucking matter at all.
Let me tell you why.
Say you level sorc all the way up to 200 so you're getting 6 points of magick and 2 points of strength or whatever.
Say you want to play a warrior? Oh no your strength is way lower D:
Except your weapon has so much strength on it + augments that it wont matter.
On top of that if you've got an element on your weapon either imbused or enchanted, that damage it benefits from your magick stat.
So really you won't be losing any fucking damage if that's the case.
>my pawn is shit and doesn't get hired so your pawn is shit too
>"I've trained a Warrior pawn on every platform now and pawns just cannot use Arc."
>"They charge and charge but cancel it and never get a hit off."
I leveled mage to 10 and sorc to 11~60. Would I be better rolling MK or MA now? I honestly only plan to play MK, MA and sorc, but you never know. Kinda more interested in MA since all of the videos of MK I saw they were just spamming a light ball and hitting it so spawn some magic balls. It looked insanely boring.
what the fuck does that even mean?
the game GIVES YOU SOME OF THE VANILLA TOP TIER WEAPONS JUST FOR KILLING THE FINAL BOSS.
You can kill the final boss with any disaster of a character with gear from caxton.
I'm unsure. Guess we got lots of people reaching the Everfall/BBI now, so that's what's making Ur bite the dust so quickly.
I missed two grace periods while asleep and then another this morning when I went to pick something up for 20 minutes.
I don't want to play mystic knight right now, though. I'm playing assassin because I'm having fun being edgy, and every time I level up I feel a bit of myself die inside because I know I'll always be a shitty wizard once I change my mind.
Gear is obviously more important, but sitting at Level 200 with under 200 base Magic Attack isn't acceptable at all.
pawn just got dragon dildo head piece, time for the RC to roll in
fuck this game is so EASY
I was getting myself all hyped for this being some really hard survival-based game with item scarcity, and it seemed that way at first in the beginning.. surviving off apples and small nuts, getting rekt the first time you run into those southron bandits past the boulders and their shieldguy demolishes you.. but after you gain a few levels the whole game just becomes tard-easy.
I'm still on the wyrm hunt quests before the court, just dicking around, exploring, already level 46, cyclops/ogres/chimeras/griffins/dra
kes no challenge at all. I look on the wiki and see "Soulflayer Canyon" and think "wow that place sounds really hard, like endgame material!" and I think maybe I can just sneak in and grab a chest, but it turns out it's just some stupid easy as shit harpy and hobgoblin dungeon, nothing even worth mentioning. Then I go into BBI, surely THAT's the hard as fuck endgame stuff, and easily kill skeleton lords, triple ogres and shit, getting a bunch of cursed BBI items to purify, etc. And then I see everyone talking about "hurr heres my level 100/200 build dur durr" and it's like who cares if you can finish the entire game by the time you're 50
>to scare people
Can we stop with this?
If you receive a rock and 0 RC that only means that it's something on THEIR end, not yours
Or neither of you might have anything wrong and the server just couldn't transfer the date for either a false flag or any other issue
Mate, there's no need to get upset. It would have been far better use of time and stamina for your pawn to use Indomitable Lunge on a knocked down opponent. Out of all the enemies you picked Evil Eye, too. Not an enemy that recovers faster, nor in a room with multiple enemies, you literally picked a single enemy in an empty room while it was staggered. That's just moving the goal-posts.
>Not even in post-grigori
MK and MA both require strength.
Most of the major MK abilities scale off str and mag with a 40/60 split
MA dagger skills all still scale off str as well as mag.
Basically just play whatever you want you cant fuck your character up.
I'm currently playing MA and I played 36 levels of warrior and 20 levels of everything else.
I killed a lightning wyrm in the post game with my MA's bow in under a minute.
I have over 1300 in both mag and str in offense.
This shit doesnt matter.
Is there a way to change my pawn name? Is it gonna be save file editing and consequently Capcom's fiery ban-wrath upon me?
I couldn't get save file editing to work the last time anyway. The save file editor in the pastebin couldn't find the save text file that I edited. Another one just made the save crash the game instantly. Is there like a tutorial for PC save file editing that explains it for retards
Oh my fucking god. I found tumblr: the pawn.
Does the jap version actually have different voice actors for each voices or is it still the same voice with different pitches?
That's probably the biggest flaw in the game in my opinion. Becomes incredibly grating after a while.
>encounter with Drake
>first response from pawns is the sorcerer
>"I'll scale it and strike from above!"
I hope sorcerer gets hired plenty. Don't want to turn my pawn into a heal slut because spell syncing is too fun.
The game dishes out XP way too generously
Even worse if you're on hard
I'm always doing shit to gimp myself and my pawns to keep things challenging (surprised I still even get hires) and toss all my consumables in storage every time I hit town but its still not enough
BBI is pretty tough but not in a harsh survival way, it's like 'here's a bunch of trash, some more trash and now here's a supermob that you can't kill'
>Get to BBI, lvl 50, played DD vanilla and DA
>I'm no pussy and I want my pawna equipment dragonforged
>Equip it, place rancid meat in Duskmoon
>Cursed dragon spawns
>30 minutes of intense fighting ensue, having a shit loli healslut didnt help too.
>Kill it one pixel of the lifebar at a time
Feels good to be 60, just killed grigori, 25 hours in and I already have my set and my pawns, and all the weapons dragonforged. Mad hires brahs.
I'm in the Ur-Dragon's fight place but he's not showing up. What gives?
Throw it off the slums
Haha, I spaced out at around the soulflayer mark, missed it! But yeah, just shows how those min-maxers are effectively retarded. That's why I advocate playing on hard mode as well to get some modicum of challenge.
I attacked him before, took 20 minutes and I didn't see his health move. Now I go in and I can take off 1 bar. I came back and suddenly he was missing 4 more bars. Then grace.
is there any good art of Madeleine ? Google shows nothing in image search
>you cant fuck your character up
>This shit doesnt matter.
Hey my character here feels like rolling a mage for post-game hard mode, do these stats look okay to you?
>Main inclination should be medicant, secondary should be guardian
>pawn that starts up anodyne the moment anyone has a sliver of damage and doesn't stop spamming it until everyone is full
>pawn follows you around and gets hit by any aoe aimed in your general direction
>if you have to run away, they stand around casting anodyne at your fleeing back with a pissed off monster next to them
>pawn has been Warrior for her entire career
>switch her to Ranger
>she goes full, unadulterated retard
Is there a guide to importing my save from PS3? Do I need to decrypt it or something?
>just fought this crazy dog thing that spawned out of nowhere for a literal 30 minutes
>endless perfect blink strike dodging and great cannon spam (i melt drakes in about a minute but this thing oh man)
>thing can almost one shot me and probably downs my pawns a combined 50+ times
>dropped 800 rift crystals and a fang
ok. so run away from them then?
>Beat the dragon
>All items worn now "Dragonforged"
Huh, guess i should have used something actually good instead of my Knightly RP set.
>mfw Dragonforged Bastard Sword
>mfw Dragonforged Knight's Mantle
not the same anon but
>being autistic about numbers in a game to the point where they become irrelevant and the game stops being fun will somehow help you get a better job
nigga what? I work 8 hours a day so I wouldn't even have fun minmaxing, I'd rather play the game normally and enjoy whatever free time I have
>Start to try out MA
>Only have warrior augments
>Well whatever. Surely nothing bad can happ-
>Run in to a golem while innocently strolling on the beach
Well, I just found out an incredibly good reason to be a warrior specced magic archer. That certainly ended quickly. In my favor.
Yeah, but I think my Rance's a bit too high level for you, poor guy.
144 on the pawn sheet.
I always took the suicide thing as the arisen completing his ascension to godhood, I never thought he broke the cycle. Some of the love interests mention still feeling his presence and Selene says that her master did the same for her. Then again it's all open to speculation which is why it's such a powerful ending in my opinion, I really liked it being so ambiguous in an age where we are so used to cinematic games
well i'll see him in 100 levels then
>not making an all-male literal rape party
If you are baiting I commend you because that's pretty good, if you are not then you should seriously do a test for autism, succeeding in life has nothing to do with how you do in videogames.
oh boy, is that my pawn right there?
I might have exaggerated a bit, but the point still stands: Arc doesn't fly on Warrior pawns. It's not like Sorcerer spells where it some times auto-locks, and it isn't like Deathly Arrow/Mighty Bend where you physically get a crosshair to aim it. All you managed to do was post one, single, isolated webm of your pawn landing an Arc on a single downed Evil Eye. It doesn't exactly prove much when I'm watching Samantha charge up Arc against an entire room full of mobs and miss or cancel it or get knocked down every time.
So does he drop anything? Or is it just stuff in the room.
>mfw everyone else gave me no items and 3/3/3 ratings
>I have no face
>Dragonforged Leather Mantle
>Dragonforged Worker's Gloves
RP gear is the best, I kept dreading the day I'd have to ditch my aesthetic outfit but it never came.
Hell, my pawn's just some basic Fighter in relatively shitty gear and she's still got over 100 hires.
>not dragonforging your best fit
You're supposed to be stylish
Does anyone here have a sorcerer pawn without having sorcerer played yoursel!?
I would like to know if your pawn uses Jump, Heavyattack. That pushback wave in melee range. Or if you have a sorcered pawn and played sorcerer yourself with him, does he use it, did you use it?
I'm currently testing some AI ideas of mine and would like to hear some stories from what you guys experienced.
In my case it was the following:
I was sorcerer, same as my pawn. He never did that jump,Heavyattack combo for at least 5 ranks. Then out of combat I did it a few times to see what it looks like and the very next fight, against new enemies even, he did it too. I was so fucking mind blown because that made no sense at all. There's no way that he imitated me in that sense that he saw me use it and tought to himself that's a good move I'll copy that. I suspect that it's a preprogrammed move that your pawn can unlock if he sees someone else doing it at any time. Though this is where other experiences are important, it could be that I was just not paying enough attention beforehand where he did it.
And now he won't stop using it.
You really sound like a shit-tier mediocre player. Is this your first video game? Is this your first /vg/ general? Do you spend most of your time playing candy crush and farmville? Why are you even here, and not over in the subreddit or facebook page for your baby-level beginner play?
>not sneaking into the treasury as soon as you get the ring, completely emptying it and then coming back to loot everything except the cape again in the main quest when it respawns
>waa they never use a very slow but high damage ability
>no look here at this webm where he does it twice
>b-but that's a slow enemy, do it in a room full of fast enemies
How about you shouldn't be fucking retarded, why would he do that ability when fighting multiple fast enemies
Pawns will learn that heavy attacks do more damage against enemies with high defense.
My sorcerer pawn will do his palm attack against hobgoblins that get too close, but not on tiny goblins.
It's possible your pawn just died on some of them. I hired a mage yesterday who was really good, and his outfit combined with the arrogant dialog made for a pretty classic "evil wizard" look.
I was sad when he got knocked off bluemoon by bandits, I was going to give that guy a glowing review and congratulate him on his pawn's style.
Anyone else here fucked by monikers?
For some reason all my friends are only seeing my pawn's moniker and not her real name. However, they see all other pawns' real names just fine. And I see all pawns' real names just fine too. Somehow my pawn is "flagged" or something and no one can see her name.. and there's nothing weird/jokey/rulebreaking about it either, so what gives
did I come off as bitching? was just confused
I fought an ogre earlier, dunno if he was an elder but he melted from great cannon spam
i'll keep an eye out for them, do they get like giga-drop kicks or something
>tfw just dragonforged all of my pawns gear
>When you see your pawn in someone else's screenshot for the first time
Also looking for a Pawn around the lvl 20ish mark (on steam) if anyone wants a hire or would be interested in hiring mine (the redhead).
top fucking kek, I love you
I'll bite, how is it hardcore to follow a sheet to know how to level up a character instead of learning the mechanics and beating the game with imperfect stats by being good at it?
Why use Arc when Indomitable Lunge exists? It's damage is just as good and can be used twice in the time it takes for a single Arc. Arc is rarely going to be useful on pawn because it isn't reliable and has pretty shitty hit-confirm on anything that isn't in the middle of its recovery state (which in BBI is usually never).
>Why would he do that ability when fighting multiple fast enemies.
Because that's the ability that is equipped and it is trained to use Arc against a downed opponent. The enemy in question typically gets itself back up in time or the pawn cancels the charge to move away from other enemies approaching it.
After I rest at an inn it keeps saying "connection failed" after trying to access the server. I can still see and hire online pawns. And the Ur-Dragon is working but when I try to access server after resting it just tells me to fuck off.
What's going on?
so you didnt play sorcere yourself?
Another Idea I had with HeavyAttack and Focused Bolt is that he treats those attacks as knockback attacks and once he has enough enemy knowledge that an enemy should be fought with knockback,he will do exactly those.
>hire alt's pawn
>send back immediately with 3* 3* 3* and a rock
>go to alt
>hire slut again through "pawns your pawn knows"
>send back immediately again
>Riding his chest all fight
>Does that Jumpback
>Die from fall damage
you snake? if so he's a champ, also you're gonna get a fug ton of shit from him because i've been using him for hours and have killed like seven drakes + a bunch of BBI stuff I shouldn't even be touching right now
if its the fighter I just picked him up but he's got a huge dick and rode on top of that dog thing for the entire fight like a maniac
Check the ddg pawn sheet on the OP for Pawns
How is it hardcore to sit down and think of how to break the game instead of getting good at playing it?
It's an action rpg, so you are supposed to have good reflexes. Don't you want to get a better job anon? You better learn to play the videogame
>did I come off as bitching? was just confused
Na, I'm just busting your balls, anon. Try all the random fights at least once, and then just move on. I suggest you stop BBI once you hit the first interior hub and get back into the main game for awhile.
No problem, I love orcs.
>Cursed King's Belts still don't work
Nevermind. Fuck no.
>Practically free dragonforging in Grace
>Style masks and outfit
>Best giftable weapons in the game
Also it's being weird right now, so curiosity on my part. Usually I'm satisfied to contribute a couple fights then try and catch grace, but the last two gens have been something like under an hour apiece I think.
I've had it with these fucking shitty level 100+ pawns, oh my fucking god.
>Gear is vendor trash, rarely dragonforged and if so usually only the cape
>Skills are fucking shit
I just want some DECENT pawns, holy shit. You'd think that people this high up would be wise to how to actually make a fucking pawn.
>check out BBI at Lv15
>somehow manage to get a weapon that I can't even use because it drains my stamina
holy shit these rings are pretty nice though
>get rotten egg
>but 5/5/5 rating
I AM SO CONFUSED RIGHT NOW
he's probably the best fighter i've had thus far, though he'd prob be better if he stopped climbing shit as much and used maw more
yea i gotta get out of here soon, i got a mace that like doubled my damage.
did get some sick armor like the templar robe thing you wear at the start of the game in the flash back, i assume I can use armor like that without ruining the game for myself? definitely not gonna use any weapons i get here
>rarely dragonforged and if so usually only the cape
>tfw I forget to switch to my pawn's gear when killing Ur every time
It's Rance, he has everything dragonforged except the shield as it's fighter only, I'll change vocations on next grace and finish that up.
Perfect inclinations, perfect augmentations, perfect skill-setup. Immune to sleep and silence.
Yeah, that's weird that he's climbing a bunch for you, since I almost never climb monsters ever. I'll see what I can do.
>He's probably the best fighter i've had thus far
>tfw loot so much I lose both inclinations to Acquisitor
for normies, maybe
other people will avoid it because of it
flip a coin
If you're minmaxing, you can switch between Assassin and Sorcerer to get 600 base in both by 200, which is enough to let you comfortably switch between classes. For comparison, maxing out only strength or magic gets you close to 1000 in your primary and 250 in the other.
Any stat under 400 at Level 200 means you should reroll to play that class.
>d-pad commands change pawn inclination
>spamming come! changes them to guardian
>spamming go! changes them to challenger
.spamming help! changes them to medicant
Fuck this stupid system
Fuck it in the ass
he flesh/soul skewers fucking everything and it's great for these damage sponge BBI mobs, like those big blue hobgoblin things. he does that and I throw down a sigil and they melt
>just got to post-game on new PC character
>decide to check out online Urdy and see if he's in grace
>he's literally dead, just hunter bolted him to blow all of his faggot hearts up
>free abysinnal armor and loot
Cool. I never got to kill him on 360, so I'm happy I got to kill him in the first 10 gens
>Fighting a turkey chimera
>Shitty goblin corpse attracts a fuckhuge werewolf as well
>powering up arc
>werewolf gets ready to charge
>turkey lion insta-petrifies him and every other enemy near him
Holy shit I now see why this is the best fucking game ever
Case-in-point, he just near soloed an elder ogre with sheltered assault, enabling him to dish out damage while also debuffing the ogre for 30% thanks to his shields properties. I am so proud of the guy.
Then there's not too many being polite I see.
Sometimes I think I'd prefer honest reviews (which most are) that tell me what my pawn did well and not so well in.
The torso piece is the only decent looking part, but it goes great with a Sovereign's Mantle.
Then you have people in here crying that they got a rotten fish and a 1 star rating because their dumbass pawn likes to stand there charging Arc while a ghost rapes your health away.
First time in Bitterblack Isle, already a left-clicking champion.
You've still got higher stagger/knockdown thresholds to deal with along with the increased stamina usage. According to the old /ddg/ science doc, BBI has its own damage multiplier of 225%.
Sure thing mate, at the next riftstone in BBI.
That's still a ~30% decrease in power. An optional one. Just because you didn't want to manage your stats.
Why don't you just beat the game naked with default weapons if you want to purposely gimp yourself for no reason.
Since I only ever hire off the /ddg/ pawn list I give courtesy 5/5/5 and a gift of Cursed Loot. It's not much, but peoples' egos get bruised if their pawn doesn't come back with perfect ratings.
I would know, I'm one of them.
This is why I won't hire off /ddg/, muh honesty
I don't want to hurt peoples' feelings but ya'll need to step it up a bit and stop using that fucking hairstyle you know the one
ye but, I want what's gud cuz I have no clue what I want lel
going alright with sorc rn but I've heard a bunch of people arguing that leveling assassin + strider or mage is way better
finally strong enough to kill matt daimon in seconds.
tomorrow will do some runs
if you want your pawn hired and lots of riftbux add me on steam
any hire of my pawn is welcome too, as i am running low on rift crystals
> fuck up in the character creation screen
> pawn looks like an ayy lmao
> finally get to Rank 9 to get decent passives for my Sorceress
> find out that I can actually fix her face with an item
> suddenly, hires and good ratings every
> now I'm ranked #715
Everything went better than expected.
>post-game only happens in new game+?
What people call post-game isn't really post-game, it's just post-Grigori. The game doesn't end when you kill the dragon. Go to the Everfall and do the quest there to find out more, I don't want to spoil it.
Do you want spoilers? Because this is how you get spoilers.
When you kill the dragon the world goes to shit and there's more you can do before the game actually finishes. It's called post-game and the world is full of shittier monsters and stuff. NG+ is literally just a story reset, nothing else changes.
Is this the best petrifaction in any game?
Blindness is also amazing as well. You can fight through it but I found myself striking at a tree instead of that flying wizard guy.
"Will I become...a living statue..."
When you finish post game you can start ng+ right away, it's exactly the same as a regular game but with a slight difference at the end.
You can start hard mode at any time; it will start the game from scratch but using the same character that you have on your regular save, levels, items, everything
Same here, but I think its underwhelmingly represented visually.
They should have had a disintegration effect on enemies you kill with it. Something like pic related.
