There needs to be some kind of way to counter armor. Like a minion that destroys all armor on deploy or halves/brings it down to like 1-2. A lot of decks simply aren't viable because of wallet warrior's armor stacking and I'm not even talking face decks.

moltens are a win condition vs aggro, infinite fireballs is a win condition vs control. Control decks are not going to put you in molten range so you need an alternative win condition, I think frost giants are a better alternative though

Brawls are always ass, the only one I played more than once was the random minion from spells one.
This one had potential if it was self created decks. However as it is there is only one way to win(buff combos with millhouse)
I really wanted to do innervate innervate kodo, but no fun allowed.
That would have been funny. I´m going to guess that the majority of the players probably like those less because it would make them think and hurt their brains. Or people would just rush to netdeck the week´s brawls. Sad.
Sylvanas is solid card in any control deck and in CW for all those shield slam shenanigans or (emperor reduced) brawl+sylvanas combo.
Raggy is ok replacement if you miss the usual late game bombs or want to go with really late heavy deck.

This. Despite the overload, a 2/8 beatstick with windfury for 5 is great value. 2 rockbiters with doomham nets you a total of 28 damage for 7 mana overload (2). Can't get classier than that.

Will literally never be useful. Cards that are 8+ mana need to practically be gamewinners on their own, or else they're way too much of a liability, ESPECIALLY if they don't do something upon summon or are otherwise guaranteed to do something (Ysera, Alexstraza, Tirion are good examples). Imagine playing Gruul and the next turn it's just simply Whirlwind/Death's bite deathrattled then executed the next turn. Costs the warrior at max 2 mana for that turn, when you spent 8 investing in that guy who did absolutely nothing.
I do 30 games per day for gold cap.
200-250 games without Boom, about 100 games with.

This is what I hate about this game. You don't really get to play what you want to play even if you pay. To play what you want to play you have to pay or play quadruple what it'd otherwise be worth/take.
There's no win here. You'll always feel like a sucker even if you get what you want unless you luck out.
Are you seriously complaining about that? I play a full legend deck and win one game in 15 because Deathwing is the only comeback mechanic and early game legendaries are shit so you are guaranteed to lose board control.
7 mana for 5/5 + 4/4. No booms but raising (or lowering) the manacost of spells to 5 can have situational advantages (or disadvantages). It also takes 2 cards to work, but the upside is that it can't be big game hunted or have their effects taken away through shenanigans.
Basically, against that, you just gotta deal with it. The full 9/9. No real hard counter unless you eat up 2 removals allowing your opponent to follow up with harder 8 or 9 mana cards in subsequent turns.

You know what, milhouse + lotheb can be an interesting alternative to Dr.Boom. Boom is still the universal first choice for obvious reason but an all-commer control deck might benefit from having the option to deal with more kinds of situations.
It's a 2 card 7 mana 9/9 that can't be removed and is immune to big-game hunting. It also somewhat shuts down spell casting for a turn. Moreover you have a situational tool to use on turn 5 at the cost of one wasted draw (or a boon on turn 2 against some decks or in some rare instances)

Mm production and sales are managed separately. When the top brass greenlights a budget forecast, the game devs presumably try their best to make the best product they can. And afterward, the marketing dept presumably tries its best to extract as much jewgolds as they can with the product they're given to sell.
Yeah, having a collection of bad cards you don't want, can't use is certainly more fun than actually playing with cards you want to use
The only people who don't give a shit about what to dust or to not dust are people who pay hundreds on packs so they don't have to wait for things.
If you have that little cards you should be in the arena most of your time anyway. Brawls can help you complete dailies or if not the matchmaking system will send wins your way half the time eventually.
Arena is tedious as hell and not that fun, I want to make and play actual decks. There is no reason to keep cards that will never see play/I will never play just to have it.
It's not feasible unless all you want to do is play one cheap deck/arena forever.
Eh, there's no harm really. It's not like you can expect to craft a competitive deck by dusting your one and only legendary. You'll probably end up making an ill considered decision in spending the dust at this point anyway. I say hold onto gruul and wait till more cards come in and see what you can make from them. It's unwise to spend dust on anything yet because you can't expect to get everything else you need too unless you intend to craft everything. Moreover you might just end up with the card you intended to craft from the packs you get while getting a feel of them game. You could simply dust it now and just not spend the dust yet, but a card rusting is better than dust rusting.
Just want to add that Gruul isn't a bad card. It's just bad by legendary standards. Till you have a choice of legos or actually have cards to auto-replace gruul lile Dr.Boom or other fancy toys, Gruul is still a better card than most and probably your only late game option at this point.
The competetive meta is filled with people who have been playing for awhile and are spoilt with choice, dusting Gruul would be good advice then but not before.
You can dust everything and build one deck that gets made obsolete the following season due to nerfs. Dusting is extremely inefficient. I've dusted a few epics I wasn't using to build a deck but I'm not dusting legendaries, you never know what will happen to the meta.

I actually really enjoy trying to make the best deck out of what I have. It's more fun than playing meta decks, or it would be if everyone wasn't running meta decks. The game would actually be really fun if everyone progressed at a more similar speed without microtransactions.
It's inevitable that people eventually find the op decks and all run them though, I just wish people had to experiment more and didn't just Google it.

Gruul isn't a bad card .. If you had to choose between Gruul and other legendaries then yes, it will be pointless to keep Gruul. But if your only late game choice is between Gruul and a common Captured Jormangur, Gruul is far and away superior.

As always it depends, though generally including all your class's basic cards that are any good still leaves you with plenty of room in a deck and a void in the higher end range of mana. If your deck is all low mana cards and nothing to hold onto for later you will have an empty hand pretty soon. Playing a 2 mana card on turn 8 isn't going to be much fun. As always, it depends.

>stock up as many heals, +x/+x and doubling spell cards as you can.

>+x/+x cards at least 1 divine shield and at least 1 doubling card adding up to 8 mana total
>funwalker cho (2 mana)
>that 2/3 trogg on the table
>both holy light spells (4 mana) funwalker cho (2 mana), doubling spell (5 mana)

>any working combination of cards along those lines
>dont be tempted to blow your entire hand on a milhouse manastorm without funwalker cho- unless the math adds up from doubling/snowballing etc or you need to send over holy lights to anduin

It's not absurdly old, but it is a complete piece of shit. It runs super hot when I play Hearthstone, the frame rate is atrocious and sometimes it will simply refuse to let me into a game because it just freezes as soon as it finds an opponent.

Currently the only way to slower decks to keep up with aggro is to use aggro cards themselves

Minions have become so sticky with deathrattles, divine shield, secrets like avenge and redemption etc that even board clears are no longer effective. And no amount of healing can make up for losing the board.

I think it's absurd to complain about the "Zerg rush" genre of strategy when it exists in every game worth it's salt. "Speed" is relative. There are always going to be fast start strategies, rushes, blitz's.
You don't complain about the choices others make within the boundaries of the game. You adapt.

honestly i just hate it because it makes control decks pretty much entirely obsolete. you can't outvalue a secret paladin, you just can't, they have all of the best cards in the game for ever single mana cost slot, plus they get insane card advantage off of divine favor.
this in turn forces everyone to play the most cancerous face decks they can because that's the only way you can beat secret paladins, their weakness is face so everyone either plays the riddler or face decks now.

You need 1 big value creating lego in priest, like Ysera, or Paletress alternatively. Also, vol'jin's pretty gud. And don't even consider not running 2 lightbombs. Otherwise, there's a large variety of control priest decks you can check out on liquidhearth or hearthpwn.

I bought the adventures and it's worth it because the cards can't be crafted but I kind of wish I bought 40 packs because it really didn't last long and wasn't much fun. Maybe if heroic gave an actual reward it would feel better value.

I personally don't like running BGH targets in my decks, but Boom is that one of a kind card that can get bgh'd and still give good value to the board, so yeah you can probably run boom for the time being. Chromaggus is probably a better card to run than Nefarian imo, but both are not as good as Ysera, since what Ysera gives for cards is usually way more broken. Run Chromaggus+Boom until you can get Ysera. Lightbombs are a priority tho, craft those before Ysera.
It's all up to you overall, you have to see for yourself what works best through like 10-20 games. Nefarian/Chromaggus is easily interchangeable, however it seems to me people are running more bgh's to counter the fel reavers that have been spawning up recently.
I live in a first world country (NATO member, Anglo sphere of influence) but we're poor and unemployment for young people is over 50% so it's unlikely they pay anything for it
Fix this fucking bug Blizzshit, this is like the tenth game where my charge minions can't attack even in the next turn, no response! I restarted HS twice and still sometimes this bug happens...
Has somebody else the same problem?
