Does Warzone serve a purpose other than farming commendations? It hosts the most brain dead players I've ever seen in any Halo game. These people just rush head first into enemy fire and die over and over again. Every game I'm able to get 10 kills just from my AR by crouching in a base and watching them just run into my sights.
I'm almost certain you could accomplish every commendation with ease by just playing warzone. I don't think I've ever gotten 20+ kills by just riding in a ghost the entire fucking game.

Im becoming a broken record.
People need to (re)learn how to aim with their Left thumb stick. They need to learns how maps flow and to work on their dexterity instead of slamming the sticks to the max when they try to aim.

I beat every Halo on legendary solo in 2 days in prep for Halo 5, which I also played on legendary solo.

The aiming, online atleast, it's bad. I don't want to be aiming slowly and then really quickly. I either want to be aiming slowly the entire time, or quickly the entire time.

I play with 10 sensitivity (though sometimes go down to 7, 8 or 9) and in 5, it's just a complete clusterfuck of having to fight the enemy while you fight the controller while you fight yourself to control the aiming to fight the enemy. It's fucking stupid.

I shouldn't have to "relearn how to aim" because they decided to put in some really dumb shit to make the game less playable.

halo is a different game from the others. in halo the look sensitivity doesn't drop when you ads. I'd love for it to be as fast as CoD, but halo is all about precision headshots and teamwork (i know you know this already, or at least you should). Even if you could look around super fast, you will still be spending 2-3 seconds firing at the same person probably why some pros play on low sensitivities. they know where to shoot and can do so accurately. i think players need to get used to aiming with both sticks and to only push the sticks over halfway instead of maxed out.

2 Warzone games gives approximately enough points to get a silver, and rarely go past the Warden fight at around 18 minutes. Assault games can last significantly longer than 6 minutes.

Really, Assault is only good if you want to get Bronze packs quickly. Regular Warzone gives you more time to rack up commendation progress, too. I hardly ever reach past level 4 or 5 in an Assault game.

It always had at least a little bit. Having the same aim speed with a more narrow fov would be jarring as fuck. I tested out a controller in a UE4 project I'm working on with a similar zoom system to Halo, but the stick sensitivity didn't scale down while zoomed and it felt absolutely awful.

Though im comparing it to CoD where 10 is light years faster than 10 in halo, but when you pull the left trigger it nearly halves the sensitivity and when pointed at an enemy drops it even further. but since those games are 4 shots in 300ms to kill, and tons of aim assist, its ok to have ridiculous sensitivities. since all you need to do is snap on target and spray in the general direction.

The aiming is bad in Halo 5, get over it.

I understand completely that moving while aiming is also how the game is played, and I do play that way, but it makes no sense to have the aim be the way it in 5. It hasn't been like this is literally any of the other games, so why fuck it up and change it for 5?

It might be ok if it was a better aiming system, but it isn't, it's shit.

Hopefully they include an option to change it back to the way it was, or just change it outright.

Most of them have heavy armor.
Driving around a base in circles can prevent/prevent loss of capture.
Most enemies will drop everything to shoot at it, since Halo fans are conditioned to shoot vehicles.
No gun on the back means people riding on top can't block shots, so having ~5 people in/on one scout hot isn't uncommon.

Has your combat ranking always been based around wins? My friends are all onyx level and I basically tag along with them when they play. Because of this I'm at a Plat rk2 and holy shit am I bad. I think I'm like .5 kd right now. It should really be based off skill or smething other than "win". Originally I was only buy gold and silver getting ugly armor with wear Teal accents, but no weapon variants.

Yesterday I bought a bunch of bronze and now I have a silenced BR and AR. as well as a few common weapon certifications i was missing. I also got 2 armor abilities, 1 that recharges my shield faster and one that keeps my radar up.

The FOV for someone running around is much smaller than when you're in a vehicle. There are some retards that run infront, but 9/10 I get blind sided by something due to how small the FOV is.
