The game is kinda funny like that. But, you're 2v1ing a guy, you're gonna paste them with joint combos anyway.
Next time you melt someone like that, check their profile to see their gear. You'd be amazed by how many people are still running around with 10 HP Bopae/Soul Shields at higher levels. Partly because the game gives absolutely no mention that the Victory Tile Soul Shields are a thing and that they're fucking amazing.

Honestly I wouldn't know. Sorry I can't help any more than that.
As for Blade Dancers? I haven't gotten one to cap yet, but the only thing I can really see to do about them is to nuke them to pieces when their CCs are down. Which is unlikely because we have three of them, one of which has an 8 second cooldown.

Don't want to be mean, but I would rather not. I did the mistake of posting my character file on some different general on /vg/. Whenever someone asked for character files someone usually posted mine, started seeing near exact copies of my character within /vg/ community every now and then.
Not to imply that it's perfect or anything, or that you'd just plain copy it. But I'd prefer to be just one me.

I don't know, you could check google images for the general female face shape. Pick one to use as a base and then tinker with it until you have something you're happy with. Wouldn't advice going for hyper realistic facial proportions as it'll only give you a headache(and our CBT time is limited too!).

Late reply but i don't recall people melting in one combo at level 50. And i played warlock who has the strongest nuking combo in the game. What happened is probably because no one cares about their gear until end game, so they're all squishy.

I really can't see how blade master is any good in pvp, at least not until you can recognize every single animation for every class and know it's cooldown and be able to keep track of it

Other classes get free as fuck disables or can kite you forever or heal off you forever. Like the only way to win with bm is if you get like 10 consecutive parries.

How do I win against a FM as a KFM? I get frozen for days and even when I proc my 3-hit stun they can kite me so well I can't get close enough to hit them.

This might be of use if you want to do PVE. It's built for level 50 so right now just pick and choose what skills you want to level. How do LBM ignore half my cc? When I actually try to get it on them they just become immune to them. If it's iframes then I understand but how many iframes do they have to ignore 75% of my stuns and dazes?

Well got to 33 and Silver in 1v1, with 11 wins 4 losses.

Coming from an FM, it's pretty shitty for KFMs to fight against us.

Only tip I can give is, when chill starts to get low, FMs are going to throw out another frost palm to re-apply a stack, so try and counter then.

The sword shield thing can only block 1 or 5 hits (depending on how it's specced).

There are also other skills that can be specced for i-frames. The multislash attack and the lifesteal circular swing attack can both be given i-frames (and they give a TON of them). Most players are just choose to go for the daze build, however.

The best blade dancer in the Korean tournament used a heavy i-frame and lifesteal build to outlast his opponents. Worked pretty well there. That guy obviously knows what he's doing though.

Just finished my 100th arena game as blade master

I think this was the worst class to start out with for pvp because everything seems so reactionary.

The only way I won was if I either got multiple parries when their tab was down or got some crazy hard read. Or they were clearly a noob.

I had a lot of fun doing it though. I pretty much never felt like I was brainlessly pressing buttons like I was on my blade dancer; except when I was experimenting with a flicker focused build, which felt like a lamer version of blade dancer

The type of build I ended up focusing on was just getting a parry and then cyclone for focus regen then stab a lot. The dps is actually crazy when it works. Vs kfm/bm/sin getting a parry into stabs into a hard read kick on their counter would burn nearly half their life.

List for hardest to easiest matchups I had

Destroyer- I have no idea how I would ever beat a destroyer, so many of their attack seem unparriable. I don't think I ever got one below 50% hp. I may just make a fucking destroyer character so I can understand it more

Force master- Get kited for days, ice shots often disable rush, need to meet so many conditions in order to get in decent damage. Need to parry and attack while not frozen in place, while in range, while their tab isn't up. Hard to do

Summoner- Similar to force master what with getting kited forever. I try to kill the pet as fast as possible. Usually if I can parry the pet in the first 5 or so seconds then I usually win.

Assassin- Maybe the most fun to fight against, baiting parries and kicking counters is fun. Also fuck that flash bang shit, literally the strongest disable in the game

Blade Dancer- Usually easy to parry since they seem to throw out so many hit boxes. I didn't get to play too many though. One that I had a really hard time with had the parry on the spin move thing

Kungfu master- I don't think they can combo well at the skill level we were playing. Also they're they tend to counter the most, which makes for easy kicks

Blademaster (lol)- Yeah none of the bms I played seem to do what I did (parry into cyclone into many pierces). They would just do pretty underwhelming combos launching in the air and what not. I think I only lost to two blademasters and they seemed to be really skilled, as they read me like a book


Had a lot of fun though. I did notice myself getting better at parrying and general play. I think I'm going to do a bunch of research into what the other classes do/their animations until the next beta starts.

abuse q to stay on people's backs, this is especially good for destroyer

abuse double tap S key to get out of roots and stay on targets, get used to spinning your camera around so you can double tap S to get behind them

You focus on timing your stuns for air combos and lightning strike stun combo when they're out of defense skills. Defend your self with block and dodge.

I don't have the beta but if they're still doing level 45 in arena, you have to deal with level 50 skills. Which means a decent destroyer or lbd can 100-0 you in one combo.

What do you do for damage after your disables? The hardest thing I've found was doing damage that wasn't through max boosted pierce.

I tried to do damage through flicker and general draw stance stuff but I had a ton of focus problems

Yeah double tap s is really useful vs summoner and force master; I guess I just need to know their cooldowns and animations maybe so I can be ready for the 180 turn?

I speced z into the 50% slow because I was having such issues getting kited by summoners and force masters

I was only level 27 by the end of the beta

also spec into your f, if you spec far enough it becomes a MASSIVE damage ability instead of stomp that does huge hits

i'm not the most experienced guy on the block but in between disables you should be mobile, with q into draw stance into F (i don't know the names, the slash through thing) into backstep into blah blah blah versus melee, and versus ranged it's fine to just flicker on top of them until summoned swords are up

speaking of summoned swords, a huge damage combo is to get a stun off then call out the swords, press c, and then continue with your air knock up

but the biggest thing to remember about blademaster is our damage comes from combos, it's not a constant stream. you should be like a moving wall of block on your opponent that limits options and punishes hard
