Shit, make it together Almir
Classics heists confirmed to be released in the future for free guys
Funny how the Krinkov now completely outclasses a good chunk of the primary ARs, especially with SMG Specialist aced. This thing is a beast.
>quadstack mag on a 90 ammo pool smg
>Heisters! To celebrate our roots we've released PD:TH maps for free! Inspired by our friends at Valve, to access them you'll need the Payday Crimeathon Pass for only $5.99, you'll receive a free Classic Payday Challenge Coin too! Keep those helmets flying ;)
>Almir's Q&A is already over.
Damn that was quick.
>Classic heists will be added for free,
>Devs are discussing a lot about the COP rewards and how to not make the owners of the dlc disgusted of their 20$ investment but they won't go in detail or give any juicy stuff,
>they'll make sure that the next crimefest/hypetrain rewards are more clear and less cryptic so people don't get hyped for the wrong reasons.
>Music was supposed to go full assault even when the vault is opened in stealth
That would be an interesting feature considering how it add some spice to the heist, especially if done in the same manner as Shadow Raid.
Accuracy grip + lesser accuracy stock > Sniper Stock that overrides grip
Unless you're going for aesthetics, but since you have a tacticool foregrip, I think a tacticool plastic grip and AR-15 stock wouldn't be out of place, especially for squeezing some more accuracy out of it.
>Standing next to elevator
>Suddenly teleported to other side of wall
I think a shield swinging through pushed me into the elevator and through the world
PD:TH's higher difficulties were so boringly hard though. There wasn't a lot of strategy, just optimal weapon choices and map knowledge. The only reason it was "hard" was the immense damage and the shitty gun selection.
Sure, Payday 2 is easier, but I have a ton more fun with it. Whatever, I'm just an anonnymous person on the internet who doesn't like PD:TH very much despite having 150 hours in it.
You PD2 noobs fucking wish
Heat Street on OVK felt borderline impossible
Not a single Payday 2 comes close to how dick gnashingly hard PDTH was outside of maybe Safe House Nightmare which was a poorly designed shit house map to begin with
Don't get me wrong, PDTH is a worse game in almost every respect outside of level/stage design. Payday 2 maps aren't memorable or are short and small or just aren't very good.
Heat Street felt impossible on pretty much every difficulty.
On another note,
DW is stupidly hard too and relies much on luck with spawns. Well, at least from what I've seen. My team of friends is so stupid they keep downing even on VH (not so much that we wipe though), no matter how much I tell them what skills to build, perks to choose, weapons to equip and how to play, even with voice chat. And playing with pubs or randoms is not really my cup of tea.
This game is a challenge even on normal mode. You still have to coordinate with your entire team to take down shields and such. You elitist no lifers calling deathwish easy are just trying to boost your self-esteem by doing something hard and blowing it off like it's nothing.
>implying shields even spawn on normal
eat ass, shitter
Don't forget that if the Overkill team are sad that you don't like microtransactions, that's because it's entirely your fault
So what are the stats on the legendary skins minus stat modifiers anyways? Are they shittier than what's optimally possible for the guns they represent?
It is, because we as consumers supported the idea that we like paying for new content when old content hasn't been released.
Also we let them lie to us without complaining in the past
Saferoom Nightmare on Deathwish
2 Inspire Aced
1 person with HE shotguns to stunlock
Anything else? Medkits required? Are First Aid Kits better in the longrun?
And which primaries should the team have? 3 Thanatos, 1 Shotgun expert?
>I want to believe
Overkill confirmed for being aware of the Ayyy lmao meme
obseruwje cie od dluzszego czasu ale zaraz ide spac i tak
>tfw overdrill with 3 other grinders
It's not just weapon skins at this point, unless Overkill are extremely incompetent twats.
They knew they would be adding more and more skins, so they must have build some kind of structure to be able to add more of them easily. They pumped out four of them in quick succession, and plan to add workshop support for it, so they definitely have a structure for it. But no, they're having issues upon issues adding it, and not just them, but Valve. This just doesn't make sense if it is simply weapon skins.
So what the hell is it?
>IT LITERALLY CRASHES 10 MINUTES AFTER THIS
Stryk-chan may be 18 but her polymer body is just too ugly. The other smg are more elegant and classy.

So uh, I guess I'll sound like >that guy, but..
Is there any extremely quick way to farm to V-100 from scratch again? Or any kind of cheat/hack that won't get me banned?
I'm making a new account because reasons, so I'm gonna family share my games to it. Currently enjoying solo playing PD2 again though but it would be a pain in the ass to not really be able to make a full build.
it was weapon skins, tho
my recollection of the exact timing is a little fuzzy. during crimefest, the COP skins resource file names were leaked on day 3 and some of the code was added in day 4. on day 5, Lone_Wolf and an unnamed Overkill insider posted on /pdg/ about some of the internal discussion about skins and by day 6, all data for COP skins were removed from public update files.
You can solo it kind of easily, but I did it with 3 retards (singlehandedly guided them, wiped twice).
What do you need? One player with a HE shotgun, AA12 is what I used. Everyone else just goes nuclear with whatever heaviest hitting shit they can afford; Thanatos and RPG for instance.
Camp up in the left room (with all the small walls and the table in the middle). AA12 HE weapon user just stunlocks everything by the doorway, everyone else nukes. Repeat until done drilling, then bumrush out with the loot.
>One and first time only, get past the pyro sequence on Alesso dw stelf

if you've never touched CheatEngine then its literally not the place to start for what you're trying to accomplish.
learning2lua is much simpler imo and if you can't even accomplish that, then go for something like >>120970937 or any of the other copypasta "hacks"
well I guess I get all the points from fugitive back.
10% movement speed isnt worth 6 points
acing die hard and underdog then, since i dont know what else to do with the remaining points
I'd get Shinobi, ace Die Hard or Underdog, and spend the 2 extra points on whatever you want.
ICTV is super slow and you don't have very much stamina, need to walk fast and all.
I dunno, up to preference.
pretty sure it was rare that V-100 sucked dicks
yet all these XXV-100 suck dicks
i dont understand
pic related, me in pub games with all these dick sucking 25s
Para and Krinkov DMR mod when?
Similarly, Beta-C and Drum mags for most ARs and some SMGs, Sniper Stocks for CARs, Drum Mag for the Izhma, actual fucking iron sights for most snipers fucking WHEN?
5-100 is the most optimal level for builds as that is the minimum possible for the bonus to skill trees.
Therefore they might know what they're doing.
I should have guessed that. But yeah, bots were amazing meat shields. If I can do that without bots I'm done with the game.
What was your worst heist, /pdg/?
I did go bank solo overkill and had to lockpick because I didn't have a saw
so I lockpicked every. last. deposit box
and when I loaded every bag into the skyhook, the plane got shot down by the feds
I got arrested and lost about an hour of time and a shit ton of money
>Framing Frame, Day 3, Overkill, about a week after release

> DW Bank Heist
> level 40 joins
> Spawns on me in backlot to the side of the camera
> goes up to camera and starts wailing on it with a wad of cash
>Proceeds to shoot the camera before I could kick him
"...And yeah, there goes the alarm"
I have another one of Shawdow Raid and how a level 1 fucks everything up before we get samurai armour to van but I dont feel like typeing
Why the fuck hasn't Overkill implemented an infamy limit option for people joining yet?
Stupid fuckin scrubs are attracted to DW lobbies like moths to an open flame. I mean, what goes through their minds? "Hey, I'm level 40 and I've done a heist or two, I think I'm ready for the hardest difficulty in the game".
>what goes through their minds?
Scratch that, nothing does.
>Try a Silent Killer build for the first time after the rebalance
>been going at it for weeks, because i suck at stealth
>finally get bags to the van, and before I escape I realize I miscounted
>I manage to get back to the vault, but only gold is left
>I somehow manage to bring it to the van, escape, and get the achieve
>I get a crimefest 2 drill as a card drop
That was the most nerve wracking achievement I've ever done in this game, holy shit. My hands are shaking. And a fucking drill to top it off, god damn.
Should I open the safe and see if I get lucky a third time?
It generally means you're 100% fucked if you get cloaked, tased, or otherwise downed, since nobody can help you up. Also, you'll look like you're in places you're not, which can fuck over your coordination with your teammates.
I think desyncing can sometimes be beneficial since enemies won't target you, but I'm not sure on the specifics of that. I think it differs if you're a host vs a client.
>RPK and Brenner pickup a minimum of 8 rounds
>The KSPs pickup a minimum of 10 rounds
>MG3 has a minimum pickup of 12
Yeah, they are pretty okay.
And they definitely seem to have fixed the desync issue the other guy was whining about. I was using the Bipod all yesterday and didn't have any issues like enemies forgetting about me or teammates being unable to revive me.
>Had some friend tell me fugitive is a clowny class that's not really of any use
>I like pistols so i do my own concoction of mastermind, ghost, fugitive and the grinder deck
>I'm absolutely invincible, even when i fall i have 12 seconds to kill absolutely everything in the room
>Kill bulldozers with like 20 bullets under 2 seconds
Bipods are a large part of what make MGs good, yeah. Without it, they're decent close-range room clearers, but that's about it.
>And they definitely seem to have fixed the desync issue the other guy was whining about.
I'm not really "whining", I'm just pointing out that it's been a problem.
I still see people desync, so I don't think it's entirely fixed yet.
In recent memory
>doing FF DW day 3 for kicks, helping a newb friend grind to 100 in his infamy
>me and him are on stealth duty
>3rd guy is decent but reckless as hell and got caught like 4 times in a row, relegated to bitch tasks (eg. opening/closing the safe, running body bags up)
>4th guy is a 0 infamy trash but an alright guy so I let him leech off of us, so long as he does what he's told and stays on cams for us
>he's waaay too eager to try and pitch in, even though cams are important
>always trying to butt in and help us with whatever we're doing, dropping the cams
>every couple of minutes he'd chime up about wanting to help out, but we were very adamant about the importance of cameras and why he should be the camera bitch
>always ends up doing something stupid which nearly gets us caught, wastes a pager or gets us straight caught
>between me and my friend not being too great at stealth, but our current run is going great
>no pagers down when the coke is dropped
>4th guy 'oh do you guys need help moving all these bags?'
>nah bro we need you on cams, safer with just us 2 running bags
>takes a while cos guard in front of bookcase
>suddenly 2 !'s show up, on top floor
>what the fuuuuuck
>4th started a fucking bag train on the roof, which the two cops saw
>fucking idiot, we told you to stay on cams
>'oh sorry i just wanted to help'
>we manage to do the rest of the coke, start going for gold
>we only manage to bag a few of the bags before gunshots on the roof
>!!!!!! heist is fucking done
>what the hell happened?
>fuck it, us 3 just grab a bag each and ECM rush the escape
>get to the roof, 4th is just standing there getting shot by the cop
>this dumb asshole tried to come down and help us again, got seen on the roof
>we put the 3 bags in, only a few seconds left on my ECM
>we're all at the escape
>except 4th, who went down for another bag
>barely manage to kick him as my ECM wears off and calls start
Fuck this shit game

>tfw you do a FWB Overdrill with pubs and it works out perfectly, not once being in danger of shit getting fucked up

I don't make it I've never attempted it since, even though I'm at 95% of the achieves and I'm gunning for 100% because PTSD This was about 300 hours of PD2 ago
Daily reminder that the new cooking lines for Bain didn't made the game harder, just more annoying since it forces you to wait for the second part of his speech to confirm the ingredient needed.
Overdrill is 70% standing around doing nothing, so it's not all that surprising that pubs can handle it
The problem is when some chucklefuck screws up the tile puzzle, or is too stupid to figure out the positioning that spawns the overdrill.
I agree, I think the new lines are fucking dumb. I honestly thought they were a joke at first (I first heard them in Lab Rats), but then I heard them in Cook Off.
In the old lines, it sounded like Bain was genuinely trying to figure shit out under pressure. Now, he just sounds like some goofy retard. Plus, the whole "I'm XX% sure!" thing comes off as an obnoxious forced joke to me.
I mean, at least the new lines rely a little more on listening skills than on memorizing the few incorrect/ambiguous responses, but I still prefer the older ones.
>just more annoying since it forces you to wait for the second part of his speech to confirm the ingredient needed.
This is aggravating as fuck, too. Maybe it's just in my head, though, but I feel like meth cooks a lot faster now to make up for it.
>Watch Dogs OVK day 3, shortly after release
>everyone else is either down or in custody but escape is ready, so I go for it
>I'm at full health and am not swarmed
>shield pushes me into a shipping crate, I'm stuck
Besides that, I'm surprised anyone actually fails that one on OVK. Where'd it all get fucked up?
>but I feel like meth cooks a lot faster now to make up for it.
Considering how it relies now on a simpler and same logic for every lines, you don't have to worry if it's a "Fuck me, it's caustic soda" line, it can feel a lot easier.
So far as the system goes, there is only two possible ways the cooking lines are going: If Bain say a first ingredient than a second one, the second will end up being always and always the right one but if Bain doesn't name another ingredient after the first one (the 79% lines being pure bullshit and don't matter), then it's the first ingredient he said you have to add.
It's always these same two patterns.
i want an artist perk deck to be real
1Realism: Collateral kills heal 30 hp
3Impressionism: All bullets get a piercing effect, however deals 75% less damage(does not apply to snipers)
5Expressionism:Headshots heal 20 hp instantly
7Surrealism: Collaterals heal 60 hp instantly
9Futurism: 75% penalty reduced to 25%.
That sounds pretty swanky but i feel like we already have plenty of decks around "do x get health". The armor pen is a nice touch though. Maybe make a deck around head shots where in order to get health/armor you get an increasing amount for every headshot hit in succession.
Alright you fuckers.
How do I go around making a melee build?
Socio > Infiltrator?
Does Iron Man Ace allow for sprinting while charging?
Which melee weapon and why is it Bearded Axe?
Extremely fun on Overkill and under, you can one-slash every enemy under a FBI Green, Greens go down with like a quarter second of charging up, and Tans go down with life another quarter second charge.
Sociopath is a clear winner because of armor regen on a 2 second cooldown and showdown locks down groups with panic just begging for some folded steel.
Berzerker is great for pulling out a quick one hit kill slash if you get lit up too much and actually lose health.
Ammo is for saws or if the group doesn't have it.
Fully Loaded is pretty much just filler.
Infiltrator doesn't have as much staying power because the health restore is on a 10 second cool down, has no armor regen ability, and the lack of Showdown means enemies don't cower before you while you cut them down.
Infiltrator does have the melee damage bonus though, so after one or two hits, you start one shotting Greens and Tans, and if you do manage to stay in the fray you can probably start cutting up Tazers.
Of note, Pumping Iron Katana strikes can oneshot Overkill Shields. I didn't know they had less health than the FBI Greens whose model they use.
Still sounds pretty OP. Grinder gets around that much health but on something like a 6 second cooldown, minus the ability to penetrate, and penetration hits probably wouldn't be very hard to get on some maps (especially with fully automatic weapons).
Nah, shit idea. What they should add instead is rare weapon skins that have 25% chances to remove the pagers from gensec guards.
Also bonus points if they sell infamous drills for 5$ each where you have 10% more chances to get rare skins.
Add a sight to the Thanatos.
Replace Military Module with LED Module.
Unless the point of the Deagle is TO BE silenced, remove the silencer in favor of Flash Hider.
Replace Micro Laser with Combined Module.
Replace Zerker with, say, Bullet Storm, unless you plan to use it. This will save 3 points.
Sharpshooter Ace is not important for snipers.
Shockproof is of questionable use.
You're fucking nuts to be using tripmines without Shaped Charges Ace.
Sensor Mines are nice if you use them but not important.
Enter Fugitive Tree -> Hidden Blade Ace -> Run and Gun Basic for some extra, much needed speed.
You sure about that infiltrator? Armorer would go farther. Muscle farther than that.
Personally, I like Cat Burglar Basic.
All mostly minor.
>c4 skills but no shaped charges
Me personally I'd go with
Added in Run and Gun and Cat Burglar basic, aced Bulletproof because techies are a dying breed and it's pretty useful.
Me personally I'd also drop Fully Loaded and take a saw but its up to you
>there are people in this thread who are not abusing the mess that is the PD2 steam market for the FWB and Slaugher Rare and epic skins, sniping mint-conditions at low prices and trading them back for keys or any valuable stuff .

Slaughterhouse is bloody tricky too - only good camping spots are
>the grey room you first walk into when you get into the warehouse
>far right side of the shipping crate area
The long hallway is alright to walk through for a while but getting stuck at the end of it in that box, or the middle courtyard bit after it is a death sentence. Better off just waiting out for fade in one of the safe spots before rushing all the bags out at once. Dunno what to say about Hoxout DW pro other than get good players
>not prefering to do the Alesso job loud.
You just know it's more fun anon
>completing DW heists,
>relying on friendly bots,

>tfw only skill shot left of the halobenis achievements
Yeah, yeah, I know it'll take ~200 tries before hitting it. Doesn't matter, you can do that shit solo anytime you damn please.
Oh loud is better 99.5% of the time, for sure. Kinda hard to solo loud dw tho :<
>Halloween patterns are still rarer than infamous patterns.
I hate you Overkill.
Noted, thanks. Altough the average pubby doesn't really trade that often.
Why? Do they suck enough for cloaker immunity to be better? I mean, other players outclass them, but I like to play offline. Feels more rewarding.
Bots are just bullet sponges. They have no other use or capability. They don't give a fuck if you go down, you'll have 50% of them picking you up if there isn't a cop on the map. Pistol Jebus is of infinitely more use in that regard.
reminder that the nextgen console users are currently enjoying the superior version of pay2day
They're a lot better now even if the Brenner is still disappointing in terms of stats considering it's level 75 requirement.
New lmg is fine even if it add nothing new to the table. Still an excellent alternative for poorfags who can't afford dlc.
All of them except the new one, which is pretty much just a lesser M249 KSP, and the RPK is outclassed by the Brenner.
MG3's fire rate makes it a monster in CQB and great at Dozer Busting.
Brenner has decent enough accuracy it can actually counter-snipe after a few shots.
And the M249 is an okay middle ground.
Yeah, that's the main idea.
For the safehouse halloween achievements, you'll need to find the right baby mask scattered around the level and not simply finishing the levels. For the other achievements, it's more a question of "git gud" .
>there are people in this thread basically working for Overkill for a chance at some extra cash for videogames
you are doing overkills legwork by finding kids with their moms credit cards for them
they make real money
you might break even in credit on a video game store
its like you people like getting fucked in the ass
Get 4 mask drops, the halloween masks will drop before anything else, do both heists on all difficulties and boom you're done son
Make sure to also do the Cloaker thing on Lab Rats on Overkill and Skill Shot.
I did it with 3 friends, we all had bag skills and it took forever. I'm never doing overdrill again unless a friend wants the achievement. It takes ages, after infamy V you don't need money or xp, there is no challenge to it after the thermal drill, someone might fuck up the pattern. if you don't have the "120 proof" achievement, I have a lobby open with that name on a nightclub normal
bring an explosive weapon of your choice, kill a cluster or two of cops with your explosives weapon to ensure your accuracy, and then melee the rest. it's not particularly hard achievement, just long and tedious, so I figure a lot of people don't have it because of how circumstantial it is
help or don't thanks xoxo
Problem isn't with pistol damage
Problem is AR's are completely useless since they do pistol damage and they have half the accuracy.
If AR's did somewhre 80 damage out of the box and had around 70 accuracy on avarage while pistols did whatever they do now and had around 50 accuracy things would be okay.
Pistols are literally lazers and IRL long barrer lasers are less accurate than a 13th century chinese musket firing vodka
