In this case, it's due to contractual reasons. The ownership of Sonic X itself is split between multiple companies: Sega owns the Sonic franchise, the company that animated the show owns the show itself, Saban owns the English dub (they bought it from 4Kids), etc. Because the rights have been split like that, no one entity can actually use anything that originated in that show.

The Naugus siblings use their magic to go to the Black Knight and/or Secret Rings settings and steal a magical artifact. Sonic and friends need to help get the artifacts back. Shenanigans ensue based on the alternate dimensions of characters (Amy thinks Percival is Blaze, Shahra thinks Knuckles is Sinbad, the Knights treat Sonic like a king, etc.). Hell, you could do an entire overarching arc on that entire premise, essentially continuing the storybook series as the comic creates interpretations for other stories like the Greek myths or pirate tales.

Or that she's still called princess. I know this is a nitpick, but I fucking hate it when princesses have their parents killed/missing/whatever and are still called princesses. You're a queen bitch, act like one. The thing is, people would get on your case for asking for competence because they think competence= ability in battle/making her Sally when you don't have to do that. Show her as a good leader putting the needs of her people first and even making some sacrifices for the needs of Soleanna. Make her proactive. Just do something with her. Does the PS2 Classics version of Shadow the Hedgehog run any better than on a real PS2? I can't find any videos of it. I know the framerate is uncapped in the PS2 version and some games run better in the PS3 software emulator.

So after a few days off of here I think Iv'e finally regained some of my sanicy.

Also I just read the LHT prologue or whatever and now that I knew what his intentions were I can understand why a lot of stuff he was writing right before the reboot happened just felt like he was slapping a lot of people in the face and now feel very sorry for him.

Really think about it: The Ian had a really good idea. He needed to slap people around a bit in order to deliver the epiphany but damn would it have been a good one. However what ended up happening was that he basically needed to stop and scrap the story completely right before he could finish it which ultimately made him look like a giant asshole to a lot of people because all he was able to accomplish was slapping his fans around.

Okay so this thread is deader the hedgehog roadkill so i'm gonna spark it up with some talk about what I think other character relationships are that haven't been explored.

Bunnie - Tails: A combination of a Big Sister and Little Brother, and Mother and Child. Bunnie is really good people person and because of that she can tell when someone is having trouble or concerned. Tails also wants to be like Sonic so he tries to hide his emotions when he feels weak or afraid or anything else. Bunnie usually talks to him and calms his feelings and teaches him life lesson while Tails not only helps her with her robotic limbs but actively tries to do the same to her when she's having issues. The two will sometimes spend long nights talking about small minor problems like how Bunnie sometimes thinks Antoine can be too passionate about cooking and how Tails can't understand girls.

Rotor - Sonic: This is mostly just headcanon since this relationship was never explored it seems. I basically have Rotor's political and ideological views the exact opposite of Eggmans. He thinks that the world would be a much better place without nations and countries and if every person was able to pick and choose their own allies and enemies. Sonic mostly agrees with him but believes that his views are too extreme and will cause too much pain to the less fortunate. Rotor responds with "When making the mother of all omelets you can't fret over every egg." They both have respect for one another although they argue and fight a lot.

Antoine - Tails: A loose adoptive father/son relationship mostly because of how much Bunnie and Tails talk to each other. Antoine will usually give him some advice that may or may not be good and Tails will sometimes play into it. Deep down though Antoine is kinda proud seeing Tails grow up.

Sonic 2 was my first game. My dentist had it on an arcade machine in the waiting room. Didn't really get into the franchise until I got Sonic Heroes though and up until then I didn't play any other Sonic game. I ended up getting Sonic Riders.
