So I played Mass Effect when it came out and even ME2 but I only did the demo part of ME3. I got the trilogy disc for PS3 as a gift but since I moved out and can't use my console I'm considering just downloading it on PC. I'd like to do "everything" to really experience the games and that includes romance since I never bothered. I love femshep but I don't want to romance guys or Liara, kinda leaning towards Ashley for the first game and Jack for the second. Can you romance her in the third? Or is that Chest McMuscles and the other gay woman? I'd romance Wrex but he's off limits for some reason. I don't like birds or frogs so I'm not interested in Garrus or Thane.

I guess I gotta go with maleshep but I'm not sure what class is the most fun. I remember the biotic charge one (vanguard?) in ME2 was great but it feels weak in the first game so far. I guess infiltrator with sniper works. They overhauled biotics in ME2 and made it more fun iirc so should I just go soldier with heavy armor and assault rifle in the first and resign myself to boring combat? Also fuck Mako missions, I'm not looking forward to that.

Space magic is never as good as hard sci-fi simply because you end up with, at most, a mash up of tropes belonging to a 50's pulp novel.
Take planets for example. Do you know what kind of weird planetary bodies deep space research is uncovering? With space magic we end up with the desert planet, the ice planet and some backward agrarian utopia. Kinda like the new Star Wars.
