Why dont you go get a stroke. If you're going hoplite you're doing it for a DPS/defense hybrid unlike Highlander/Barbarian which is just pure DPS.

And since Peltasta gives you some of the best defense skills and a taunt even as C1 it makes sense he would pick that up over highlander, not to mention he will get most of his damage from his hoplite skills which will shit all over a c1 highlander anyway once he gets c3 hoplite.

There's a new NPC in the Fedimian Mercenary Post who gives an actual Party Quest, as seen in the picture.

Checking what the quest entails. It's Level 100 and probably scales similarly to Party Missions.

Cross guard is a gimped block, Crown is just a pathetic skill and Wagon wheel deals no damage.

It is literally just gimping yourself for 1 ability that is only good between the 20 to 40 level range.

Highlander only becomes useful in of itself once you hit C2 and C3 and can actually use it how its supposed to be used.

What even is the use of rodelero?

A real concern now. Everything is fine, we are leveling our first chars but what will happen when we want to make an alt? We'll have to go all the way throught the same maps and quests. This themed park progression will just hurt the game in the long run unless they change the leveling system before releasing the game. I know the RO talk is getting old but at least there we could start in different cities and choose our paths from there. Here in ToS is corridor1 into Klaipeda, into corridor2, into corridor3, etc.

It's only redeeming feature is the Evasion buff, which is reduced thanks to Finestra. And even if the DEF increase is a lot early, it's not worth it unless you go 10 points or more.

Honestly I don't really know, I'm not at that point of decision and it's mostly therorycrafting right now, I just got to chapel and I don't know how partying works. I would ideally want to go more defensive and just have the other people in the party do the damage, but I don't know the reality of it.

Speaking of parties, someone said when I get around the Chapel, that is the point where partying has a distinct advantage, how the fuck do I even party with other people in my area? The party search tool seems really bad, since I can't filter parties to area.

Can someone explain to me why they have level -100 areas sandwiched between level 100+ areas? Like a level 60 area past a bunch of level 100+ areas. Guardian's good for a tanking focus, though a second attack was a lot better for my build since it wasn't focusing on tanking.

Rim Blow is very useful for swarms and positioning, and can one shot enemies.

Arguably, you can leave it at 1 point but I also used Gungho and you can't have both Guardian and Gungho on.

Try going to Gitis Settlement Area above Klaipeda (Level 69) and then Mausoleum Construction Building in Tiltas Valley to grind.

The areas above Klaipeda are great optional maps for quests, I'd highly recommend doing them all.
