I already explained how it's more rigged in a previous thread. Look at how many items are on top row every paragon, always 3+ which means lower rates, also 5 or 4 items on all tiers below top which also means lower rates and lower chance to reach top row.

-New: Eidolon Chronicles!
The new feature can be used from the Eidolon Menu Area, a new tab has been added. You will have to select a party of your stronger eidolons, and use them in special battles that will also help you unlock chronicles of your eidolon's past. Players will get points and rewards from the mini game, that can be used with the <Researcher> Rihanna in Navea to buy special prizes. New eidolon pets, house crafting special materials, and more! Players will also get special rewards, as loyalty and dragon points from unlocking maps and completing new challenges. The higher is your rank, the more teams you can set to fight! But remember, the fights results will be determined by your eidolon's strength.

Each fight will consume stamine, which is restore in time. As a special note, we made an extra effort to bring you the Eidolon Chronicles as translated as possible, but there are still dialogues missing at the more advanced states. They will be added in our next maintenance, but you can point-out any corrections needed while we work in what's missing.
-New: Endora's Festival!
Once again, our favorite Midnight Witch comes to Navea to help us celebrate Halloween. Just as last year, she is willing to lend us her fabulous costumes, but this time around she has completely new looks to give. Endora will randomly give you one eidolon costume, that will come with a special bonus in stats too. She will charge you with 5 gold, and the costume will last for 40 minutes. You can use it for hunting, take amazing screenshots of your favorite eidolons, and even pvp! In addition, Endora will have the special option "Trick or Treat". Once a day, she will give you special and rare gifts!

a - All characters level 60 and above can talk to Endora to receive 1 random fortune bag.

How do you get other rewards for eido chronicles? I seem to only get DP and redoing stages do nothing.

Considering giving this game another swing. Last time I tried on the private server most of the videos were still in Chinese (which really isn't that much of a problem since 我會說中文再說我的中文老師是台灣人) but I found gameplay to be kind of boring.
