Me and my bud were playing Lucian and Xin Zhao, respectively. We were getting the enemy's bot lane inhibitor and just after we took it the whole enemy team respawned with homeguards.
The guys chasing us were a J4, a Riven and a Kassadin (this is when he was permaban status).

What is the best way to close games in Silver?
Last season closing games was pretty simple but this season people just start playing ARAM after the 12 minute mark or just run around like headless chickens
I'm duoing with a friend and we're both mid diamond players. He is a jungle main and I'm a flex player.
I tried splitpishing but people will engage/get engaged 3 or 4v5 and no one knows how to waveclear in low elo
Sieging is impossible. No coordination at all and stupid dives will happen
I'm yet to lose a game but closing them takes forever and feels like a chore

Max q, flask start or dorans blade and a camp if you're against someone who isn't a tank. Just farm but abuse the true damage passive when its up.
Barrels, one at your feet and another near them, hit the one at your feet and hurt them.
The true damage stacks so try to auto barrel auto. Don't be shy about using your ult on other lanes for the assists. You don't need to fight your laner to win, just need to farm.
Build phage into trinity. sheen first can be ok it depends on the match up, after either of these two you can do proper trades instead of memeing on them with barrels.
Cd boots, infinity edge and from here you have a few options, you can meme it up with more infinity edges which if you know what your doing with positioning can work out really well.
Randuins, Spirit Visage and Ghostblade is a good build that lets you recover from being caught/making mistakes, you'll still shit out damage thanks to the passive and barrels + ult. Ghostblade gives you flat armor pen which goes well with the %armor pen on the barrels, plus the cdr on that + spirit + cd boots + cd masteries = 40% cdr for more ults, oranges and barrels.
With spirit visage your w will heal you for 650ish when you approach 50% hp.

Play top and adc to secure objetives as fast as possible. Supports tends to glue their lips on the adc ass around silver, so you have at least 3 people out of 5 grouped, unless it's the typical Nidalee support.

Yellow Trinket upgrade is generally better than blue in lower elo since not every support likes to ward, plus it will help you splitpush as Trist/Sivir if you want.
Else I'd stick with Jinx, if she's careful with wards/snipes she will get big, plus if enemy team doesn't have that much cc/mobility then she'll reset easily. I use either her or Trist to climb as an adc and I make sure our lanes are always pushing, farming jungle when they're not unless there's a good setup for teamfights. Boring way to play her, but you'll do fine as long as you ward in between blue buff - gromp and closeby, as well as behind red buff and closeby on the other side, those are the paths they use 90% of the time. The only concern I have with this kind of tactic at lower elo is Twisted Fate.
As top laner I tend to use splitpushers, aka mainly Tryndamere because I was never a good top laner and tend to play safe, and Tryn is kinda safe with the absence of Ignite nowadays. When he's not up I tend to go Jax/Renekton and bully-lane, most silver didn't learn/play during season 3 I guess so it's kinda easy to get solo kills unlike Irelia who's well-known and makes them play as sissy as possible. So I kinda never build Zz'portal due to them.
