Why doesn't Flowey have any human souls with him? With save/load powers he could have easily gotten to the fallen humans right after they fell underground, killed them and taken their souls.

Not only that, he can absorb monster souls too so he could easily have killed Asgore after getting one or two souls, absorbed his soul, crossed the barrier and gone on a rampage on the rest of the world.

Am I missing something?

Even with SAVE/LOAD Flowey isn't strong enough. His stats are weak. It IS said that he did his own version of a genocide run a few times, but it's unclear if he gained more LV from it in order to boost his stats. He might have tricked people into dying instead which would have given no EXP.

He even mentions during your genocide run that he could never get Asgore to show him the six human souls, so presumably whenever Flowey started a new genocide run, he was curb stomped when he got to Asgore each time. Maybe monsters don't gain that much EXP compared to humans?

Asriel isn't much different than Chara. I don't think we're intended to believe he was born a spawn of Satan, rather something happened to him on the surface to make him act this cold and mean. Yeah I don't blame him there. I really wasn't here for the demo hype. My gripe is just that the characters were one of the biggest reasons I got the game, and Toriel was a very easy character for (most) players to get emotionally invested in, and then... She's just gone. There were other characters I felt interested by, like Sans and Papyrus, but they weren't (or at least aren't yet) as beneficial as a well placed, motherly, vulnerable character.

I'm not really asking for her to be there all the time, because I agree, it would cheapen the story, but her having NO plot time whatsoever after that until the end just makes me... Sad, honestly. The excuse for no phone calls to her just seems like a huge cop-out too.
