Let me explain to you how an MMO keeps you playing. There are two main ways.

1. Everything is always different and new because the world is huge and its full of players, and you never know what those palyers will do. Community interaction is the soul of what makes an MMO fun.

2. Carrot on a stick. You need to keep grinding these fivemans because you need gear from there to get into kara and you need kara gear to get into gruuls and you need gruuls gear to get into SSC. As soon as you make raiding easy and let people skip huge segments of gearing/progression, people can easily feel like theyve completed all the content the game has to offer. Then they quit.

This is not going to happen, but I would love if the something like that happened: new Valkyrs were able to resurrect the dead properly, without Scourge interference. Then Sylvanas goes mad and corrupts the Valkyrs because she's afraid to lose her control over the Forsaken. Everyone finds out about that, we go after her and it doesn't really matter what happens to her right now.
Anyway, we manage to save some Valkyrs, and the Forsaken try to use it to free themselves from the curse that is undeath, but due to Sylvanas tampering, the curse is only partially removed, making them able to "turn human", much like the worgen can do, but the effects aren't permanent.

I know it's essentially worgen 2.0 the story, but I don't want them to die out and, with them not looking like bodies all the time, diplomacy with the Alliance would become easier. I don't think Varian would have the guts to order his armies to kill enemies that he can see that are just as human as he is, considering that he still remembers he basically owes everything he has right now to those that helped him when his father was killed.

Blood Death knights seriously need:
Less cooldowns. Death Pact is practically mandatory for all specs, remove it as a talent and work it in with vampiric blood or some shit.

Bone shield can be a passive. Some strike can give you stacks of bone shield. Maybe the rune dump? Doesn't need to be a button, regardless.

Either make icy touch and plague strike useful or change them to something that is. Glyph of Outbreak is alright but not reliable enough to pull with.

Don't let blood boil be filler. It should be used for snap aoe aggro and disease spread. Give us something to do with our runes.

And just make it feel like I'm playing a tank. Death strike healing doesn't make me feel strong and durable, it makes me feel unstable. Smooth it out.

I'm not saying remove the self healing, but it feels terrible as is. Too up and down on the health bar. The self-healing should be smoothed out. A stacking hot or something would make more sense, with more % being consumed the lower your health is. At high HPs, let death strike be used preemptively to give you that hot or some shit.

Blood has TOO MANY BUTTONS and the prune didn't do anything to help that.

I do play other tanks, every one but paladin, but blood DK is the only one that makes me feel bored and like my core abilities aren't actually contributing to my survival. Death strike self heals shouldn't be the only thing the class has going that makes them tanky.

Prot warrior is a bit more proc-based but devastate is boring filler.
Guardian has bleed management on lacerate as its filler.

Both are very similar in their core abilities and active mitigation, but vary widely in the support and utility. Take a look at both of their full ability lists and see which you prefer.

I like bear druid because rage into health is a great feeling when you're in trouble. Bears feel like they've got a little bit of everything available to them, and great physical mitigation.
