Why is Kanami wearing a scuba? lol Kanami you're dancing, you aint going for a dive.
It can be both. Final stage will be in the Marianas Trench
>You'll never do this to Naoto
Feels bad, man
Also, P4D's story will be leaked early or some shit and we'll have something to talk about for a few days before the game is actually released in Japan, and we get that P5 footage
Shes no Lisa, but Nanako as a playable character is alright.
I hope we get to dance as the other Kitchens too
Is that fan made, or actually from the anime?
Bears can't have Personas. That's ridiculous. Humans only. Also dogs, robots, and shadows. But no bears.
I tried to play P3 but it's even more bullshit than 4 in that you can't even control your fucking teammates and they launch retarded attacks which the enemy absorbs, blocks or reflects.
> Floor 25 mini-boss
> ded lol
Just spoil me the whole fucking game please. I tried looking up something like Persona 4 The Animation but it looks like there's nothing of the sorts.
I know the MC dies at the end but nothing else.
>being this much of a casual at an already easy game
But fine, here you go:
>the chairman you're working for? he's actually evil and wants to bring about the end of the world
>there are other Persona users who require suppressants to control their powers, of them is Shinjiro, a former member of your team
>the robot girl Aigis actually recognizes you from ten years ago because she fought with and sealed the embodiment of death inside you, who is that little boy you met at the start of the game
>eventually he becomes a teenager and tells you that the end of the world is coming
>you need to either kill him so people can go about their business in ignorance, or face the god of death head on and see if you can do something about it
>you seal the god of death's powers at the cost of your own life and you become a door
>the rest of your team bickers and fights about your decision and then find out about another god of death and temporarily stop it
>then they all move on with their lives
Is that everything? That's all off of the top of my head.
Does Aigis have something to do with Orpheus? Who the fuck is Shinjiro? The guy who you briefly meet at the hospital when Akihiko breaks his arm or whatever?
I honestly don't plan on trudging through this game, just tell me everything.
Or give me a link where I can read the full story.
When's your birthday, anon?
And every single time you guys bitch and moan about it. Fucking guaranteed, even if its 600 posts later. Even a year ago, it was probably the same people bitching about it then as it is now.
Its really cute that you get so flustered about it.
Especially considering the OP pasta is next to worthless, especially since that one guy decided his novel about about each game was more usefull than the bullet points that came before it
There's a bad ending (where you kill Ryoji and live in ignorance until the Fall, not the season, but the end of the world) and there's a good ending (where you let Ryoji live and face Nyx head on).
There is literally nothing to do against a party-wide 50 damage nuke on people who barely have more than 100 health. Let's not forget the single target 80 damage nuke.. Akihiko does 40 damage at most against one of the tables and they seem to have ~300 each.
I didn't bother, but even if the tables are weak against ice most personas at that level that have Bufu are weak against fire.
> b-b-b-b-ut grind levels and heal yourself!
Dia heals for 60, medicine for 50 and they both waste a turn. FUCK YOU. DEATH IS NOT A HUNTER UNBEKNOWNST TO ITS PREY.
Don't make it then retard.
>Especially considering the OP pasta is next to worthless, especially since that one guy decided his novel about about each game was more usefull than the bullet points that came before it
What are you even talking about?
The idea of having an OP like this is so that you won't notice it when people use it because they'll be able to get answers from the OP instead of pestering the thread for advice and download links
>instead of p3 remake where you can walk around
It was called FES
use a persona with bufu that isn't weak to fire (or bufula if you have an s link that makes it easy to fuse)
get junpei, set him to conserve sp to force him to only use physical attacks (if you have it at that level, if not just live with him using agi once)
get yukari and set her to heal/support
even that is overkill for the early minibosses but you'll definitely win
For some reason, you and your waifu/husbando switched bodies for 24 hours.
What would you do in those 24 hours?
Buy everything I ever wanted.
Fuck Mitsuru or other fine ladies with his body.
I've been dong that place, and 70% of the time there's a Golden Hand, and although the map is easy to navigate, it's still a big map. I might end up running into it first thing, or I could do a whole sweep of the map only to encounter it in some corner I checked at the end. On top of that, the only combinations are two hands + a Minotaur, or three hands. Still, the map is always the same, and easy to run through. I go up the left, up three rows, across, down, and then make my way to the bottom right corner.
Meanwhile I've been trying out Heaven and while it's more random (since I've only been checking the 9th floor), I can also run into five Hands at a time which is more EXP and money. But again, navigating the map is more inconsistent, at least if I'm doing it at that floor. I doubt the set maps where you fought the mini bosses are that easy to navigate, while Magatsu Mandala's maze floor (which you mentioned) is very easy to navigate, and I can do a consistent run through.
Basically I'd have to decide between consistency or the chance at a higher yield. Should I just go with consistency?
Cry because I am a female door that doesn't even exist.
You asked for it, you got it.
God dammit, i didn't needed to be aware of this, thanks a lot anon.
Theres a bunch
I remember that thread.
This is not OK
This is worse, just why
Noses and Tumblr: Episode 2
Someone edit this without the noses.
I found more from that artist.
S/he deleted the tumblr though.
Aigis looks Jewish tonight.
Next one is the last one, I think.
I can't access page 2.
How about your murderous friend?
Who else but Japan's favorite?
Please wake up, /pg/.
Yeah, I understand the sentiment. When I was making my 'perfect' Alice/Daisoujou I was initially planning on getting those skills but I eventually gave up because I knew I'd never ever use them and I wanted bonus S. Link experience for out of the box Die For Me! and Samsara.
Still, if that's your case, you shouldn't really worry about the effectiveness of the Judgements. Just use them whenever you have spare SP or whatever.
I'll probably just use it on weaknesses. Light/Dark skills will always hit if they hit a weakness, right?
I ended up putting them on Sandalphon. I can pretend he's either passing down God's Judgement with that skill, or sending enemies to hell with Demonic Judgement.
I don't think they ALWAYS hit, I'm pretty sure my MC has avoided death from my stupidity that way a couple of times. I think it's something like twice as likely though, so as long as you have enough Luck it shouldn't be a problem.
I wasn't aware they were skills that could be passed on. That almost makes me want to do it myself. Almost.
I feel like it's happened once, where even though an enemy had a weakness to Light or Dark, it ended up surviving Naoto's wrath (she used Mahamon or Mamudoon and had the respective boost). Still, I can hardly remember it, maybe it actually wasn't Weak or something.
And yeah, they can be passed down. Although only God's Judgement was able to pass onto Sandalphon. I'm assuming Demonic Judgement wasn't able to pass because he's weak to Dark, so I ended up just passing down a bunch of skills and hoped one would change to Demonic Judgement. I got lucky. That's the only way you can get these skills anyway since no one learns it naturally.
New P4D trailer soon. Are you hyped? It'll either be Naoto or Teddie.
And maybe they will add Nanako's page to the main site
AND maybe we will get another silhouette!
/drg/ should be driven by waifufags like /pg/, but it died.
What is it with /pg/ that we continue on living?
a door leading where? Is there an even more deprived place?
Time for a feel trip, motherfuckers.
>tfw you will never concept and construct Aigis all by yourself
>tfw you will never program her pure, innocent AI
>tfw you will never feel that special kind of accomplishment
>tfw you will never see open her eyes upon her first bootup, asking you who you are in a clueless voice
>tfw you will never educate her according to robot ethics and give her most important directive: To protect and love you
>tfw you will never show her the world, and see her prosper and grow
>tfw you will never reload her, produce new ammo, armors or equipment for her
>tfw you will never protectively kiss her forehead when you shut her down for maintenance
>tfw you will never experience the absolute loyalty of an android that has emotionally become human
>tfw you will never die happily, knowing you left a lovely piece of work for the good of mankind, that carries on your legacy
>tfw you will not die in her arms, but instead broken and lonely
Hold me, /pg/... ;_;
>you will never make her murder her robot sisters
>you will never tell her she's a useless toaster that should be scrapped to put her under mental duress and force her persona to awaken
Good, because she's for MC and MC alone.
I don't care how she is, or how she looks.
What I do care about though, is the canon.
Well guess what bitch, she's inferior to her predecessor and that's canon
kill me end me terminate me put an end to this suffering wake me up from this eternal punishment I have been violated
Hi my name is Naoto Shirogane and I love dancing oh god I'm having so much fun I wish I could dance forever with my friends now let me shake my flat ass at you
What's the best party for The Answer?
First time playing and just got through Palutownia Mall, playing with Aigis, Metis, Akihiko and Yukari.
Well there goes all my hype for DAN out the window.
She already had to deal with pxdn. Hasn't she suffered enough already?
It's too late now.
There's something to be said about people being mad when resolutions are actually followed through, and then being mad when resolutions (like Mitsurus in P4A/U) are not being followed through with.
The idea of her dancing for the dancing game in itself isn't what's getting me here, but you're never going to convince me that Naoto would decide "alright it's time for the sex appeal" of her own free will. They've gone too far with it.
Some people would rather see their favorite characters be sad, miserable and suffer I guess.
That makes me wonder, when did everyone learn to dance anyway? I know Rise is calling them in as her backup for her comeback event (this is retarded but I digress) but only Yu and Naoto are actually in The City to take any regular dancing lessons from Instructor Tranny.
Either way the point is that Atlus is the one who decided this is what would happen not Inspector Tranny and for all the emphasis they're putting on character-appropriate dance styles I think they've missed the mark here.
Well then they drown with their miserable waifus, hand in unlovable hand.
Let's be real, she probably would never learn to dance on her own. In that story the only way to beat shadows is to use dance, and she's working with what that creature of a dance teacher has taught her.
Actually she decided to dance before the entire Kitchen stuff happened.
Rise asked the team to dance with her during the Bonds Festival. She, Naoto and Yu disappeared when they met to practice their dances for it.
>the only way to beat shadows is to use dance
It looks like most of her moves are more balerina, which is what I think they were going for, not shake your ass watch yoself type shit. But I guess the few seconds of that ruin it.
Yukiko got ballet. Naoto has "house music, placing a big emphasis on deliberate step routines and all wrapped up in a certain layer of sex appeal."
Ignore the costumes for a moment then. The trailer focuses more on her arms than legs but it's still visible. Especially that part at 0:40 looks a lot like what she does when she is dancing with Rise in her trailer.
Yeah well the writers are fucking hacks
Dancing to beat shadows, psh
t-they will fix it
Looks like they deliberately are trying to make her look like Nanako. Even her portrait is just an edit of Nanako's.
And fuck you, casual Kanami is the cutest.
They told me her dancing style would have sex appeal, but I still did not anticipate that.
I like it.
>yukiko has no brain
>naoto has no social skills
lets combine them.
at least he doesn't remember about that
>Well, maybe she's alright with dancing.
And I see no problem with this. Naoto's "no fun allowed" attitude was largely when she was still trying to be a gruff, no nonsense detective. Later on she's okay with all sorts of events, she approves of games, she enjoys learning to (and failing at) skiing and even remarks about how a year ago she would call it just a waste of time, and so on. If She thinks dancing is pretty fun, it fits pretty well with how her character turns out.
Maybe her dancing style is a little weird but maybe that'll be made into a joke that she doesn't realize the effect it has on people. And by people, I mostly mean Kanji.
Depends. Leaker said Nanako met Kanami in the midnight stage but it was apparently wrong since they and Dojima are supposed to investigate the case in real world.
BUT the trailer from last week shows Kanami watching the video on midgnight webstie and disappearing, meaning she shouldn't be able to investigate with them in real world, meaning the leaker was right.
If the leaker is right, chances are very high, if the leaker is wrong, very low. The guys in Rise's S.Link said that Kanami "feels like a little sister you want to protect'. They either wanted to make her look like Nanako to evoke that feeling in players, because everyone loves Nanako or they decided to go full crazy and really make Kanami Nanako.
I have no idea.
Dude she can't even carry her valentines chocolates around without tearing off the cute wrapping paper because it's too embarrassing.
She's going to die. I guess the excuse is that everyone else dies with her.
What kind of dance? Break? Ballet? Lap?
>Everyone's romancing as well on Valentine's
Not in the IT they're not. And no one else you know. In fact, most of the guys seem to be just standing around hoping someone comes for them.
Dude it's not like she's confessing, she already did that. How Yu feels about her isn't the issue here.
She got torn up about it because she didn't want to be seen holding cute wrapping paper in public. Once she got rid of it she was fine carrying it around with her.
I wasn't ready for this. I have become cum.
Also, ignoring the fact that she's clearly more comfortable with herself and willing to let herself have fun now which is great, P4D is a very ridiculous game. I think it's kinda funny that you guys are analyzing her character in a game where they're fighting shadows with the power of dance.
Definitely break dancing. It's the quickest way to a woman's heart. I have it on good authority it's how Phantom is going to do it in P5.
That's right, P4DAN is a prequel.
>P4D is a very ridiculous game
And it's ruining the very serious series that Persona was. Dancing has no place in Persona combat. Unless you're trying to win over the hearts of the physical manifestations of negative emotions of humans so they can give you a bunch of cards, which is totally different.
>Maid outfit still in
I also hope her original VA returns, but it's also possible they might get another VA for her (didn't she have a different VA in Ultimax and Q?).
If it's not too much trouble, could you do a webm of Naoto doing a finger gun at the camera?
I still like Yukiko's dancing the most, but Naoto's is definitely second best for me.
Original VA did return for Golden, though. And thank goodness she did. She is damn fine. I like McGlynn too, and I like how she made Naoto sound pretty androgynous, although I'd still prefer the original VA.
I haven't heard Arem's voicework, admittedly. Is she any good?
Hey guys. The person with the Moon Social Link problem here. Ai FINALLY asked me to go out and skip class. In fucking October. When I asked her in June. Jesus, is there some sort of formula for it, or is it just 'flip a coin'?
Think about the possibilities of why Original VA left.
>Thrown in the union dungeon for breaking contract
>On the run from the union for breaking contract
>Left AtlusUSA to find a company that would pay her real money instead of chocolate coins
>Found a new job doing voiceovers of shitty documentaries
Is her being kill not the most merciful option?
I don't think Original VA 'returned' for Golden. I think she just wasn't cast because that would mean leaking her identity to a dubbing company that wasn't AtlusUSA. Yes I am a full adherent of the 'she's from the union and broke contract on P4' idea because it's the most exciting and makes sense.
Also Arem is ok but she has no finesse at all.
The old VA. I mean that she never left or stopped working with AtlusUSA over the time between vanilla, the anime, and golden, but she wasn't cast in the anime because it'd leak her identity.
thank you based original VA for the delivery of these lines
I love hearing Robinson as Labrys with her cute little Brooklyn accent. I think it's a Brooklyn accent, anyway. She sounds like she's giving more of an effort than Arem, although again, Arem's not terrible.
My heart still fucking melts every time.
Don't lose hope, you guys. I'm sure if we
bondenough, original VA will come back, even in a possible Naoto cameo for P5.
I'm sorry anon, but you're delusional. She's sadly never coming back, and
obviously Naoto will be the last party member in P5 and not just a cameo
Everyone in P4 is comic relief.
I-I can't reach out to the truth when it comes to things like this, man.
Great, now here comes the fog. You've doomed us all, asshole.
Good, then maybe original VA will come back.
Character development can be a very wonderful and frighting thing. If you told me Naoto of all people would be dancing, wearing somewhat revealing clothes AND smiling, I'd laugh you the same way I laughed at people saying Yukari would be a power ranger and MItsuru would be a fur coat wearing spy girl.
>wearing somewhat revealing clothes
Maybe her alternate costumes, but I wouldn't call her standard outfit revealing in the slightest. She's wearing slacks, a dress shirt, another shirt under that shirt, suspenders, gloves, and a hat. That covers pretty much everything. Not going out of her way to hide that she has a bust isn't quite the same thing.
Also, you just made me hope that we get a Featherman dance.
What costumes do you like to wear in P4G?
I thought it was interesting how the Featherman outfits are available right before saving Nanako. Her big bro and her big bro's friends can dress up like the very same heroes she sees in TV, which I think is pretty cool. I like wearing Dojima's outfit when I'm on my way to rescue her too, and I also like wearing it when I'm hunting Adachi down. The Gekkoukan outfits are cool too, and I also like wearing the Velvet Room clothes.
The first time I heard those lines I spat out my drink and looked at my screen saying "WHAT?!" in shock. Might've been my mind wandering off but that made me think of something else
You know, I'll be funny as hell if the only reason they all look so happy while doing these moves is because their sure they aren't being seen by humans. It's like some of the people here doing chunni poses and rants in their houses. You can be quite the fool when you're sure you aren't being watched.
I could see that being a joke, someone telling her that it's okay because no one outside their team is watching, and then after the final song, it's revealed thousands of people were watching. And it's on the front page of the equivalent of Youtube or Niconico.
Don't laugh. We've nearly had the same thing happen. In fact once recently the thread fell off before someone bothered to make a new thread. We're only this active right now because of the Naoto trailer that got dropped.
I'm playing Persona 1 right now and I'm level 23 in the school right now. those Toilets keep fucking me over with there explosion spell. Am I the right level to continue onward in this dungeon?
Also, I've just been putting my stats into Vitality which is at 22, Dexterity and Agility which are at 29 and 28 respectively.
I'd understand her being okay with wearing female clothing and even dancing, but her choosing those dance moves seems like a bit of a stretch.
My waifu gets best song and best dance style, I'm pretty happy right now.
Naotofags who want her in P5 please just stop, we have 5 games with her in it she doesn't need to ruin P5's identity just for another appearance.
Also Naotofags complaining about her DAN dancing I'd like to remind you to fuck yourselves.
We're all the same person. Open your eyes, man.
You mean just like how everybody saw The shadow ops and IT team exit the TV at Junes one day and then the very next day a bunch of weirdos are having a private party at Junes with some of the town's most recognizable people?
I honestly expect the persona 5 characters will know about both groups because of this as well.
I doubt it. Maybe if someone from 3/4 shows up someone will recognize them (I mean apart from Rise or other characters who should already be famous) but I doubt anyone will tie it to anything supernatural. It will be at most "hey it's those eccentric people who showed up in a weird place."
Though it makes me wonder what the average person sees when they watch the Midnight channel, or this new website thing. And who was watching the school the night SEES was seen outside of what had been Tartarus?
I think I'm fucked.
I was following penguinknight's guide for social links in Persona 3 FES but the fucker made a mistake with one of Chihiro's rank ups. Long story short, I might actually be reversing her link in the following week because I already hung out with Fuuka and Yuko since the last time I saw her. So, I have a question: If I pray for her at the shrine, does it count as seeing her? And, if I see a girl on a Sunday, does it count for another girl's jealousy? Like, can they even know I made plans with another girl?
I still think Yukiko's dancing is better but Naoto's is a very close runner up
Dat butt wiggle. I like how they picked the song that starts with the type of drums you associate with hips swaying and butts bouncing for that trailer
despite Naoto not having much going on in that department.
Figured that out, few things
>The encounter rate is retardly high. Like, who the hell thought that having it this high was a good idea?
>Second, I like the setting. It's really different than Persona 3 and 4, but it's reminicsant to Nocturne (This is technically my fourth smt game. Those 3 were the onl ones I've played)
>When in doubt, do the crab walk
>I have a gambling problem
>Combat takes fucking forever
>Brown is a cool motherfucka
Overall, flawed and somewhat dated, but I'm having fun
You deserve to have her reversed for what you've done. Praying at the shrine works, but you don't deserve to get away with cheating like that.
Yeah, I mean I'm going to get more party members along the way like in Persona 3 and 4, so if I don't like him I can just switch him out, but so far he's pretty cool. I have it set up so my team is basically a big T with Maki in the back with her bow, Brown in the middle with his pike, me in front with the sword, Nanjo to my right and Mark to my left.
>mean I'm going to get more party members along the way like in Persona 3 and 4, so if I don't like him I can just switch him out,
Anon, i don't think you understand
You are stuck eith brown now, you can't choose another party member
I just beat P3P, is it worth watching the Answer on youtube or something? or is it not really relevant?
I know P3P isn't the best way to play the game but it gave me a good way to spend my downtime on vacation. P4G on Vita is supposed to be the best way to play Persona 4, right? Or is that better on PS2 as well?
Can't take my PS2 on a plane with me, dude
I did like the characters and I know it's mostly censored on Aigis
prime waifubut at the moment it's either watch this or get stuck into P4. It's worth my time then?
It's still $45 in Australian PSN, P4G is $55 while I can buy it at EB for $20 but I hate having to deal with physical games in 2015
Mine is a dual-core Atom, I basically assumed from the outset that it wouldn't be able to handle emulating a PS2 game.
The whole ten-hour flight back the jackass in the seat in front of me was reclined all the way back so I wouldn't have had room to play my vidya on a laptop anyway.
yeah atlus wanted it to look blurry because of hardware limitations i'm sure
healing is the easiest thing for the AI to do, MC should be doing things that benefit from intelligence
The only times i died were at neo minotaur and with Yukari suddenly using megidolaon out of fucking nowhere
The rest of the time i had spirit bracers whihc saved my life countless times
How do the Persona games differ from the regular SMT games? How do P3 and P4 differ from the earlier Persona games?
well i'm playing through the answer right now and my toaster waifu is never going to die
SMT since Nocturne has
>Demon negotiation (talk your way out of fights, barter, recruit)
>Fully customizable party
>De/buffs can be stacked up to 4 times and never wear off unless they're canceled out or dekaja/dekunda is used
>The entirety of each party takes their turns at once
>The "press turn" system is used, and each party moves until they're depleted. Waiting will consume half a press turn, either turning a full one into a half one or consuming a half one. Hitting a weakness or crit will turn the next full press turn into a half press turn, or consume a half press turn if there aren't any full ones left. An attack that does nothing either because it misses or is voided by the target consumes the next 2 press turns icons, regardless of whether they're half or full. Anything else will consume the next press turn icon, regardless of whether it's half or full.
>Bosses generally use buffs and debuffs a lot more. The Matador is infamous for forcibly teaching the player the buff system by being able to buff his agility to max in one turn.
I forgot to say that the number of press turns you get is equal to your party size. Persona's "attack again" system is basically a simpler version of press turn.
Also, demons can be switched out mid-battle. Bringing one back requires you to both revive it and resummon it.
>Naoto's trailer confirms VR costumes
>Rise and Kanami are getting costumes that come in sets in P4G (Rise's semen demon costume for Halloween, Kanami's swimsuit and Yaso High jersey)
>Nanako's version of VR costume might be from P5
>From which series is this crossover from?
You been living under a rock, anon? It's Fate/Zero, the very popular and very edgy 2adult4u prequel anime to the even more famous visual novel, Fate/Stay Night.
I got Wheel of Fortune. What's your arcana?
They're both pretty great in their own ways, though their respective fanbases tend to oversell how good their own work is and how bad the other's is.
F/Z has the benefit of being only ~24 episodes, though. Worth checking out if you have the time, which you probably do if you're in /pg/
