Even if they just put the level of writing into Cyberpunk, I wouldn't expect it to be ready this year.
I mean I suppose they don't have to write a game system in the same way, as you know... it's a tabletop game, so they can take large parts from that. But that only gives more options for how to complete things.

And one Cyberpunk corporate building should be bigger than the average village in the Witcher.

It's unlikely that the combat is going to operate in the same turn based fashion as the tabletop game though, right? It'll make use of stats and skills but is likely to be an action RPG in the same vein as the Witcher games (with guns). They still have some system design to do.

each worker asap after his contribution with w3 was finished either moved to work on dlc or cp77, theres always been overlap with the projects
w3 however was finished about a year before release and they worked on optimization and bugs for a long time which will happen with cp77 as well

good, but this time they have no excuse for showing a pretty demo and then downgrading it, all while denying the fact.

also i'm a bit concerned about the actual combat/gameplay. they couldnt flash it out properly in 3 witcher games, i doubt switching to a supposed tps/fps for the cyberpunk setting will bring any substancial improvement.
