I like to think of ME1 as a platform to something greater. You always have to have a foundation to build on.

The only cool parts of ME2 were most of the cast, the loyalty system and the suicide mission. It's still the worst of the group by far.

The only good thing ME3 did was the shooty bits (vastly improved from 2) and the cross-class combo. Rest of the game was dog shit.

ME1 can feel difficult or unrefined but ultimately designs itself to have a decent progression gameplay wise, and reward awareness and multifaceted resource expenditure later on

ME2 is a lot of arenas and everything is basically a different kind of projectile

If you just want better animations and you play games totally mindlessly then yeah, I guess everything about ME2 will appeal to you, you can probably relate to all those daddy issues too, being that you're a teenager

But the first game will always be the finer and more fulfilling interactive experience, always, especially now that EA smells so much money in the brand

Yeah whoever thought up Thermal clips should be shot. They're an incredible bad idea and awfully implemented (why can't you shoot without a clip, you'd just overheat but lacking one shouldn't disable the god damn weapon). They also destroyed a lot of the weapons, what's the fucking point of having a sniper rifle with like 10 total shots at a time.
