THE SHEEV SPIN IS IN BATTLEFRONT
Will you stop fucking repeating yourself, yes we fucking know the stupid spin move is in the goddamn game, and no its not a fucking reference to your even stupider obsession, LEGO fucking referenced it before you were even BANEing.
The jump animation is pretty good, but goddamn does that force lightning look so nerf-tier weak. Like goddamn, its Sidious, at least at a few more fucking particle effects or something. I want to see big streaks of lightning, not the first tier of force shock from Kotor II.
>tfw everything is proceeding as I have foreseen
Hrrm, on second though, comparing it to >>315613640, you are right anon. So that is piddly looking lightning and jump animations too. How could they fuck it up, even SWBFII did it better.
No need to project, friend! You don't need to be an insufferable faggot to enjoy Star Wars!
What map is that supposed to be anyways? Why the hell do the stormtroopers have clone trooper colours on their armour? Why is Palpatine on the ground fighting?
>Why is Palpatine on the ground fighting?
Because Sheev is being painted as a warlock-style caster. Not a clever politician pulling strings from the shadow.
No. Fuck that.
The leader of the Galactic Empire would totally come down to fight foot-soldiers.
Fuck this game.
It would be cool if you could play as Palpatine in his throne room, and have 3 active 'commander-view' abilities - like a tie bomb strike, or maybe drop an inquisitor token in the battlefield. Some low-tier 'hero' token or something with a lightsaber and force push.
It would make more sense than what they decided to go with.
its just a video game lad they do gimicky stuff like this all the time becase its only supposed to be a game.
do you get made when in fighting games two people pick the same character? how would that happen though because canonically there's only one Ryu isnt there?? oh wait but its just a video game remember, not to be taken seriously i think is the general feeling one should take in regards to these sorts of things
>goddamn does that force lightning look so nerf-tier weak
yeah, it looks fucking terrible. There needs to be a continuous stream of lightning and bodies frozen under the onslaught.
This looks a sith baby's first force lightning attempt.
Leave it to /v/ to run a joke into the ground
Sullust, the planet the Rebellion staged their fleet at in RotJ
To show off that those are elite stormtroopers. Specialized shock troopers or something.
The same reason you could play as Darth Maul or Jango Fett in BF2. (Whatever that fuck that reason was, fans want it I guess?)
I know and its a decent solution but I am sick of hearing accurate to the movies and seeing so many inaccuracies tokens taking the cake due to how they ruin the immersion I can ignore guns needing ammo even though its canon that they need ammo, I can ignore the at-at being on rails and being timed, I can ignore not being allowed to leave vehicles all by avoiding them, you can not avoid tokens
>even though its canon that they need ammo
The ammo in 'canon' is very high-capacity, so you don't see reloads during battles - it would only happen during the down time or in prolonged sieges or something.
Tokens are an abstraction for gameplay purposes, just like class limitations and points 'thresholds', or how the Jedi Starfighter is available to clone pilots with identical R2 units, or how the shield generator, comms, turrets, engines etc are all one door away from each other in every ship model. It is just abstractions.
>Every Sheev scene in Episodes I-III.
Actually come to to think of it
>Episodes I-III in general.
Fuck you. Aesthetics, themes, consistent lore and stuff are all parts of good games. If something is completely out of place it detracts from the experience.
Fun is also a fucking buzzword. How about you come up with an actual argument that is based on objective reasoning for why you think having Sheev fight is a good idea?
>inb4 retards respond who think that saying "its fun" is a good point to make about anything.
The same people that like Fallout 3 and other shit because they're underage. "its fun" is the easiest way to spot retards.
>rebels find out sheev is on Sullust
>send their closest ships
>they go down to capture him and end the war
>sheev rolls up his sleeves, steps outside and goes to work
as if he wouldnt relish the opportunity to personally slay rebel scum
In hero modes no, they were supposed to be silly and have characters from all over fight in weird places.
In actual skirmishes fuck yes I thought it was shit. They were a bad addition to the game and in many ways BF1 was better in normal gameplay.
