How is Hearts of Stone?
I just repurchased the game+Expansion passfor PC after playing the main game on PS4. Im replaying it all the way through instead of that fresh install option, because I want to see it in the way it was meant to be before moving on. Is it good?
It doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell because the industry has a goldfish's memory though.
It was the only game to release this year that didn't manage to disappoint overall.
I think it's more that no one cares. Monster Hunter has barely evolved since its inception, if anything it has gone backwards technologically.
Can you imagine how much the series would have come forward in ten years if someone other than Capcom were making it? The areas wouldn't be segmented into 12 or so little rooms with loading screens between them, I can tell you that.
Really good. The actual story is better than the main one at certain times.
Also someone post the gunter webm with the spoon in the eye.
>no music playing most of the time
>character moves slowly
>attacks are slow
>lock-on doesn't work on every enemy and isn't as effective as it should be
>many hunts are just attacking an enemy and then following it into another area to do the same thing, making it a grinding game
>multiplayer doesn't show the exact same things on everyone's screen; only boss enemies/main hunts are consistent
I mean I get that it can be fun as it basically replicates what hunting can be like and teamwork can especially make it fun, but fuck if I can't get into it.
I'm gonna say Gwent card game packed with the Hearts Of Stone expansion deserve game of the year.
I tried playing the Digital version of Gwent but there's all this annoying walking fighting and talking between the between the game parts I just interest.
It's pretty hard for a Monster Hunter game to disappoint. They don't really change enough, it's also because of that fact that I would hesitate to consider 4U GotY, it's not that special. And I say this as someone who has sunk 8000+ hours into the series, including 900 hours on the original PS2 game.
