Yes, there were over 40 items missing from the game and the dev made some stupid twitter posts hinting that there was actually a secret the players would have to solve but in the end they just updated the game and unlocked more items. He was also assmad because the last time he made an ultra secret character dataminers just found it and found out how to unlock him through datamining instead of his stupid puzzle.

I just issued a refund.

I don't even care about the drama surrounding missed features, locked-out content and Ed being a whiny baby about >muh datamining. It's just not a fun game, it's way too slow-paced and the only way to have fun is to spam R until you get some good damage up pickups on the first floor (and Ed is actively trying to patch out ways to deal good damage). Almost all the bosses are damage sponges and have no real strategy to them apart from circling the room.

I honestly have no idea how I racked up 60 hours on this before the DLC, coming back to it now it's such an enormously slow and sluggish game.

Supposedly this bullshit was going to fix EVERYTHING wrong with Rebirth, after Rebirth fixed EVERYTHING wrong with Isaac. At this point, I knew better, but I felt morally obligated to safeguard a future generation of potential victims from Isaac's shittiness by detailing how Afterbirth fails to deliver upon the expectations

So it turns out this little fucker is REALLY good.

I thought it'd increase the damage taken by anything in it's field. Turns out it deals damage instead. And I think it scales to your attack because I picked up Ipecac and it basically oneshots shit as it enters the room.

I haven't gotten far in isaac yet but I do have a question
If I haven't beaten say like blue baby on normal or hard yet. will the unlocks stack if I defeat blue baby on hard? Will it unlock both normal and hard items?
