Totally false, of course, as is typical of Anon's posts here. He doesn't even know what the majority of the fans think of FO3. No one does as no research has been done on the subject. As for OP... FO3 was dark and serious, yes, as it was intended to be. However, it also had plenty of dark humor as Fallout has always had. FO4 hardly seems like the Sims in any way. Sims is a totally different type of game for a totally different audience/market. Closer comparisons can and have been made such as comparing FO4 (what we know so far, at least) to the original Bioshock (which was also very dark with very dark humor).

I'm on the fence about F4 and will see where I stand once it comes out. But that is not important because I bought Undertale and I want to blog about it.
This game has literally, unironically been called a masterpiece and GOTY about a million times everywhere, all over, and I cannot fathom why.

It may be a technicality, but taking a step back from the last mainline Fallout game is still a slap in the face for players. Bethesda had no issues adopting weapon mods, which Obsidian added in NV. Most of the benefits of ammo types were dependent on the existence of DT either by negating it or multiplying it in exchange for increased damage. Without DT there are few instances where special ammo types are useful. The removal of weapon maintenance makes surplus ammo useless as well.

As I've said, they didn't "remove" those features. They chose not to add them. I can't say that I won't miss 12 gauge slug rounds, but it's unreasonable to act as if Bethesda didn't include them purely to spite me.

I maxed out my character in Fallout 3 without trying. I don't think that much has really changed.

I'm actually pretty thankful that accuracy is no longer tied to weapon skill. The game might actually be playable outside of vats.

why is every complaining about graphics? that's not an issue mods cant fix

the animations is the biggest problem about this game. The creation engine is just too old, the movment feels clunky just like skyrim, fo3, NV.

Considering that console mods have been a huge part of the PR for this game, I don't suddenly think they're going to scrap them.
This isn't to imply they'll be any good or worth a fuck, but that they will in fact exist on both Xbox One and PS4, as well as PC.

Much like UT3 on ps3, it will require a fuckload more work to get a mod functioning on the console versions. You will get a few token mods that don't do much while everyone makes shit for pc.

I legitimately don't care about the dated graphics. They are more than good enough for me.

I am a bit sorry to see the skills go, but honestly, I don't think we're losing *too* much on that front either. I can live with the new system there.
