I have been let down by WRPGs at least 9/10 times I play them. I've only been truly let down by a handful of JRPGs, most of which were by matching companies. And in terms of design, it's much better to be "original" even if it's impractical or ridiculous, provided the rest of the setting supports said design in some manner. Recreating something that already exists in real life is not a sign of unique design theory, and only leads to a flavorless aest
