I am a PC mustard but PS4 is honestly shaping up to be the next PS2. Is it worth it now for just one semi-decent game? Hell no.

However it'll be worth it probably by holiday 2017 or after E3 2018. It's becoming the standard for console, even though console is slugging in Japan, the PS4 has topped Famitsu charts for however months now, and more japs will buy it as TPP comes out. The games I'm personally interested in are the Atlus games like Persona and whatever Atlus chug out next after they get their Personabux because Atlus didn't have a good history of releasing games on PC. I'm so done with FF, but might try FFXV once it's in bargain bin for $15.

It doesn't matter how hard or resistant PC mustards scream about better graphixxx etc, most of us used to own the PS2 because it got better games and none of us have any regret. Same deal with PS4 eventually.

As a person who owns a WiiU, I bought a PS4 recently. Pretty much got it since buddies wanna get MKX (which I'm sure I'll love). Console is disappointing, I almost wished I picked up a PS3 instead.

Current games are Akiba, DW8XL, Ground Zeroes, GGXrd, Puyo Tetris. The entire console just comes off to me as "okay I guess" whereas I'm still playing Smash, 3D World, Bayo2, and Kirby Rainbow Curse, and I'm eagerly awaiting Xenoblade Chronicles X and Splatoon.

I just wish the PS4 has more games.

People are buying these games regardless of their age, anon, because they want to play them.
The effort they're making to port them is a different matter, which isn't really relevant to the point I'm making here.
You can't expect the PC to instantly be getting the same jap games as consoles are right now.

Jap companies never cared, but they're starting to, and bringing some older games to see if people actually care about these franchises.

Koei did that years ago, and this time we got DW8XL and 8E soon after the console release.
There's no reason to believe other companies wouldn't follow in their footsteps.

I won't lie. There's not much that isn't MMOs and other uninteresting shit. But, the superiority of PC comes from its control scheme. The FPS genre's (and probably MOBA and RTS, though I don't partake) prime is on PC.
