So what would you like to see in an Animal Crossing game for Wii U?
New kinds of towns?
Tons of new items?
More in depth villager interactions?
Something that'll never make it in, like
Post your ideas here.
A blind box with an amiibo inside with a random villager would be nice. They could make collections of it with like 12 different models, 6 boys, 6 girls + 1 rare Isabelle amiibo inside
I'll say it again.
More than 4 people in a town. If Mario Kart can do 12, so can Animal Crossing.
Let us throw parties, listen to K.K. Slider together or even compose our own songs for him to play.
And I REALLY FUCKING HOPE they use/make HD models and textures. A Wii U Animal Crossing game should look beautiful, not like a port of gamecube graphics were, for example, the sheets on your bed looks like a piece of colored construction paper.
There are over 300 different villagers. There's no way they would ever make amiibos for all of them. The only way this would work is if they make them into those amiibo cards we heard about.
>And I REALLY FUCKING HOPE they use/make HD models and textures. A Wii U Animal Crossing game should look beautiful
Did you see the Animal Crossing Plaza thing on Wii u? It was gorgeous.
>my waifu in HD
>I just avoid miiverse
You didn't have to do anything with miiverse to look at it. Well have a look anyway. It's not available for download anymore.
Dont have a Wii U.
AC for Wii U would make me get one, though.
Thats got me thinking. Would realistic grass, flowers, and trees work in Animal Crossing?
I think these threads are just for what you would want if it happened.
No reason why it shouldn't.
i have a bad feeling they won't even make animal crossing u and just focus on a new iteration for nintendo's next handheld, since new leaf was so successful in japan. that would be a shame since ac feels much more
comfyto me on a home console
Fucking put romance features in it Nintendont! If you can put it in Tomodachi Life, they can put it I'm Animal Crossing. Also better social system for other villagers too. Nintendo needs to target their real audience for this game and not fucking underage twats that are going to be playing rated M games anyways.
A combination of these ideas.
Maybe make the player the head of a state park with a large "town" area and a huge wilderness to explore beyond the boundaries.
I'd like for furniture to have more functions, like computers emailing villagers and friends, phones to call, etc etc.
"Shiny" bugs and fish, among other variants, that go for higher prices.
Villagers have improved AI, and actually do things instead of just being mobile conversation starters. For instance, you could see them actually catching fish or bugs (opposed to them simply having a rod or net out in NL), you could see them playing minigames without your involvement, and so on.
Why would you want that?
I think the renders in the cover of New Leaf are pretty good for me on a home console.
I don't think anyone expects the Wii U to pump out graphics with the quality and detail of a promotional render, but they can certainly do more things graphically than they can do on the 3DS.
Its just the success of new leaf on the 3ds has me worried they'll keep AC on handhelds from now on. Even though there is so much more they could do on console.
That'll only ever happen if someone makes an AC dating sim.
Speaking of, why hasn't anybody?
Simply make villagers you're dating not move out. Easy.
>That or Animal Crossing University
Already released six years ago
Nah, but seriously? I wouldn't mind another game more centric on an urban environment, like City Folk. City Folk was arguably the shittiest of all the AC games 'cause it barely deviated from Wild World, but I think another city-themed game handled well could work.
That looks really nice! I missed out on that, since I didn't have a Wii U at the time.
My only complaint, is the models could use some improvement. Everything else looks fine.
What if you and all your neighbors lived in a big apartment building, and you could upgrade your room until you had a full-on penthouse?
What if there was a shopping district like a mix between Main Street in New Leaf and the city in City Folk?
What if there was a big Central Park area where you could catch bugs and fish?
That's how I imagine AC in the city would work.
More things to do, better villager interactions, just things that wont bore me to death.
I've seen the idea of roommates a lot so I have to ask.
If your favorite villager was your roommate, what would they be like, /v/?
I kinda wanted to walk around the streets of the city as well, but a big apartment building could be nice too. Maybe your friends could be a part of the same city, therefor reinforcing how big it really is?
I have all the good ones in the 3DS, but I found one on my miiverse profile.
i want to see creepy realistic animal people
as a family friendly alternative to dating
Also I want balloon presents to drop random items like they used to, not just stuff from the Balloon theme. There is literally no excitement in New Leaf when shooting down balloon because you're always going to get some shitty ugly balloon item
More Animal Crossing in general would be nice. Yeah tons of new items, and different kinds of towns, and MC faces, and other options like that.
Dating, I know it'll probably never happen, but it'd be SO FUN! Walk around town on dates, have more uses for the fucking flowers, go to Brooster's for coffee with them, have Valentine's Day matter as a holiday, hugging, romantic moments, have them cry their eyes out begging you not to leave them if you either break up with them, or stop playing for a long time and come back. I don't even want anything lewd, it'd just be so fucking adorable.
More things to do with the villagers is always nice as well. More in depth interaction with the villagers and normal NPCs like Sable and Isabelle. I would so pat Isabelle on the head if I could.
It makes me really sad to think we're probably not getting any of the stuff we want if another Animal Crossing comes out. But I'd settle for another Animal Crossing coming out.
>more in-depth villager interactions overall
>I guess dating or roommates just for those who want it
>being able to make custom headgear with more "templates", if not outright modeling
>free camera control
>perhaps more seamless visiting of other towns, being able to just walk far enough in one direction and ending up in another town
being able to play as an animal
Fuck you buddy.
ele-ass is best ass
Your ass would be blushing too if you ran around outside without pants
>Also I want balloon presents to drop random items like they used to, not just stuff from the Balloon theme
Please god this. I wouldn't mind so much but the furniture pieces are so damn ugly.
>have them cry their eyes out begging you not to leave them if you either break up with them, or stop playing for a long time and come back
As much as I personally would like this, theres no way. Hand holding and hugging would be nice, though.
I want to see the game be more like the movie they made back when Wild World was the newest game. Huge sprawling town and tons of geography changes and more in-depth activities would be big for me.
