Look at any other form of media and no one does the outrageous shit you see in video games. No one records their entire reaction to a movie/song/etc with it playing in the background. They get flagged instantly and shut down if they tried to monetize it.

This is all really moot because if LPers/reviewers felt that they were being cheated they could either take nintendo to court for taking revenue from their content or migrate to a new site taking their audience with them and start dealing with advertisement money directly or just record their thoughts/reactions without gameplay shown

But they don't because they're really just taking advantage of a system that they never have contributed to. Google maintains the constant audiences, Google created and flourished the monetization system, Nintendo makes the content that they need to make their own content.
