Disney out pokemoned pokemon, and nobody played it
RIP 989 Studios
You don't know what true fury is like until you have played this fucking game. Literally the only time I've ever broken a disc out of rage. It's like a dungeon crawling JRPG, but with card system where the hand you are dealt is what determines how far you can move and how much damage you can do, which results in way too many situations where you are just completely fucked.
Great game, but the controlers are shit
Had a dreamcast release
Had a demo for this on one of those PSM demo discs. Played that shit religiously and loved every second of it. Finally found a copy years later. The final game was way harder and faster than the demo IIRC. I should play that again.
Fuck, I miss demo discs.
Randomly discovered I still had this while digging for unused Club Nintendo codes. Shit was
>expected a mix between DnD, Etrian Odyssey, and some sort of animu highschool setting
>five years later and I still have no fucking idea what I'm doing or how to get anywhere in the first dungeon
I'm sure once I understand the battle system/stat system I'll be able to actually get going.
Might just want to drop it and play 2. Much easier to get into and better overall.
That said, 1 is pretty baller once you get the hang of it. I haven't played it in a long while, but while I got further than 1st dungeon, I still only reached a bit after, say, the second school, maybe I got to the third? I don't remember.
It's even in the Sonic's Genesis collection.
That whole series of games with those mechanics are pretty strange.
The third post in that was mine lol.
Guess i dont browse regularly enough to see it posted.
In that case, ill switch my game to Mighty Max for genesis.
Ill bet money nobody here has played ot even heard of that game
Weird but fun game , Millenia is a ok waifu
i cant even find anything on the game i wanted to post.
it was an action rpg where you could play coop on playstation 1
and it was called black & white
i'll post this instead
Yes it does, literally one of the worst games ive ever played.
I guess this is as good of place as any to ask. What was the genesis game where you started the game in a town with a cemetery. It had a top down view like old zeldas.
I was too young to know what to do, so i always shut it off after a few minutes.
I really want to play that game again
It's actually not that bad, but I remember getting stuck early on as a kid, so I never beat it. Lost my copy of it, but I would like to go back to it some day.
Marble Blast Gold.
I've never played this but I fucking loved Marble Blast Ultra. Worth checking this one out?
>tfw you can't get Ultra anymore because it was taken off XBLA
I dunno about graveyard, but it was a dismal town in trouble.
I assume you mean Light Crusader.
Starring based Sir David and his Gunstar Heroes-ish magic system.
Mah fucking nigga right here.
>mfw beating all the Advanced levels
my dad bought me this game when we were looking at houses in north carolina when i was a kid
i was sad about havign to move and meet new friends then he bought me this and i was happy
it only had like 3 songs but they were all GOAT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9lmfqlJ10M
I've played that as well
love the fuck out of it
I think i'm the only few that has this game.
>hearing Chuggaaconroy bitch about the game getting next to no advertising
I ought to track this down one of these days.
Let's see if anyone has played the River City/Kunio games on DS.
Nah, this was the "YOU'RE A BIG GUY" guy for the game. No fatties, just dudes with huge swords, missile launchers in their suits, and a taste for piano music.
I've played all the Deception games
except IV.This was fun but Deception III allowed you to keep your traps and had the large challenge rooms.
Kagero did have that really strange storyline, although I guess they all were fairly strange.
You missed when whatshisname did a video of this game. People were linking to emulators and websites to play through it. I don't think that anyone finished the game, though.
This game was amazing
ly bad.It was still fun as fuck, though.
I can't remember what the game was called, it was for playstation, you choose a character and it starts with a weapon or abilitiy, later on you can upgrade it or change and you fight other characters.
I don't much remember ActRaiser 2. I replayed the first game multiple times, but only AR2 once. I do remember that I played it, though. A bit disappointed that they took out the world-building.
Now here was a simple fun little game.
It takes some
ballzto make a game like that.
I only know of 1 person who played this and have never met anyone who has ever played the first.
>This game was amazing
ly bad.It was still fun as fuck, though.
I like how the story mode was literally portrayed as everyone having their own anime tv show, and when you beat the game with all the different characters you unlock a scene where they argue with eachother about who's the real main character. There was just something entertaining about a game not giving a shit and going full weeb.
The main character is this guy btw and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
I loved that game. My stepdad, who buys and sells a lot of used stuff, got me that as a totally spontaneous gift once (along with a new model SNES and... ugh, Mecarobot Golf).
Skyblazer's great, but it's over way too fast.
I loved using the wizard and just grabbing people with that dragon-fire throw. Sometimes, being simple isn't a bad thing. Sometimes, you just want to roast a bunch of idiots in dragonfire.
River City Super Sports Challenge involves more beating up opponents, at least as much as actual running through courses. Both of the games have an awkward 8-direction movement system that didn't really work well, certainly not as well as the older 2D 8-bit games.
This game has a cringe worthy story and bs levels but it was fun and the music was great
It seems like we have a Playstation theme tonight!
Let's move things into the next generation, then.
I always wanted some R34 of the blonde woman
Hailey I think it was?in this game but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person that remembers her.
Played it. Don't remember anything about it.
Finished it 4 times. Got it with Okage: The Shadow King. People who complain about time management in Majora's Mask should play this. Always went with the Rummy chasing after you ending after my first playthrough. Strange how the only way to get it is not get the secret characters.
Never actually finished the game, although I did have fun just wandering around lost on the island most of the time.
And I did wander around lost most of the time.
Game had some real good music. Maybe not the best game, but still pretty fun.
Great underrated racer, I would put it up there with ctr, mario kart 64, and diddy kong racing.
>dat ski summit level
>dat final castle level
I loved this game the brawler chick midori, the power ranger looking guy with the sword, and the tit cow girl in the pink jumpsuit were my favorites.
Great game, no one ever talks about it though.
MOJO MOJO MOJO KING BEE!
Shiiit my m8 and I used to play that on Mega Driva fucking LOADS.
Only when we were older did we realise it has the most disturbing theme tune of a Mega Driva game. Fuckin seriously?
I was legit sad when the best friend left. How it described you two just having battle after battle and loosing track of time...oh god...
Pretty fun even if half the minigames were "tap A fast to win".
