Rarest game you own thread? rarest game you own thread. Here's mine ,chrono trigger, what's yours?
It's on xbox but the frame-rate is despicable and it crashes every now and then. I believe that in order to keep a game from becoming unplayable, you have to delete your last save, and then make a new one, because saving over another save corrupts it a bit each and every time.
Never met anyone that's actually played it.
I don't really know about the rarity of all my games, but I have physical copies of Chrono Trigger, Earthbound and Mega Man X3. X3 is pretty fucking rare, but I don't know how rare the other two actually are.
>shows Chrono Trigger in the middle, a game that was produced in the millions and it's easily found, although it still commands a decent price
>Aero Fighters just sitting almost out of frame, rare as fuck, expensive as fuck
I see what you did there.
Bought it for $15 at a GameStop, the cashier practically wanted to choke me when he found out it was in stock. Might have been a shitty game, but I love it.
It's ok to be jealous, and this is just the bottom of the barrel. I have a metric fuck ton of PS2 games, many old PC games and such... even kept the original boxes for them, but I lost them all in a flood recently. Oh well. The Fallout 1 box hurt the most. Lost a lot of original strategy guides for pretty much all of these games, too. Still have my Xenogears guide and Perfect Works, though.
Rest assured my physical collection is definitely bigger than yours, only a true collecting master can fully understand how pointless and stupid collecting this shit is
Buying shit just because it's rare is still dumb tho
Some of the casualties of the flood. I lost my PS3, 360, Sega MS, Sega Genesis, Nintendo, SNES, Dreamcast, N64 (and a gold too, in pic)... Probably more. Kept them all.
I don't even know what's rare and what's not, but fuck it.
$50 will get you a copy of each, cib, on jewbay. shit ain't rare, but i still love the fuck out of big box pc games
now, cib fallout 1 big box, yeah that's a different story
Here's an old and painful pic.
Honestly, I don't even know if half this shit is rare or not. Losing it all just kind of made me not give a fuck anymore.
Another, and there's Fallout 2. That one went to the dump.
I have a copy of Dink Smallwood on CD, with the floppy that fixes a game breaking release bug. The package was signed by seth (the creators) mom with a little "thanks for buying the game" note. But I didn't save it.
I have a couple boxed Apple II games, not sure about any of them tho.
Bonus story, once I went to a swap meet and told myself the only thing I wanted was F-Zero X and found if in about 5 minutes for 5 bucks.
>collecting just because it's rare.
>not collecting because it's fun vidya you like.
Gonna sell it soon. It's been truly, truly, a very long roundabout path.
Game itself suffers from stiff controls. It's one of those where landing from jumps requires you to be on center, other than that it's got some contra-style action.
The Mikey coin slot is a little fucked up, but I have one of these
