Okay so me and a friend just finished The Order 1886 in about 3-4 hours yesterday.

Fancy graphics, I can agree with that, the game looks fantastic, especially the facial animations and such.

Too bad the game is literally BORING AS FUCK, within 15 minutes we were both bored as shit, the story sucks and the only two interesting characters are the Indian rebel leader and her little sidekick.

The gameplay is just so fucking bland, walk into room press context button, walk into next room, check high objects everywhere (WONDER WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN) shooting segment (with modern weaponry as well, because can't do anything actually fucking interesting) walk into next room, quick time event, walk into next room, context button press to examine something, walk into next room CHEST HIGH OBJECTS! gun fight, 10 minute cutscene.

Oh and don't forget the obligatory shitty insanely boring stealth level where if you die you literally just start back 5 seconds from where you die from.

Fucking hell the game is so generic and bad. They couldn't even do anything interesting with the steam punk 1800s setting like interesting weapons at least. I shit you not, you use modern weaponry in this game, automatic rifles.

The Order 1886 is awful, it is literally everything that is wrong with modern AAA gaming. Very pretty, but bland and boring as fuck.

TES has content, but its not particularly well made content or fun content. I tried watching the playthrough on youtube. Couldn't make it past 10 minutes.

Graphics aren't anything spectacular, the story was generic and uninteresting, and nothing else managed to grab my attention.

This game is literally a modern day ET. Maybe even worse considering that game was made by one guy in one month.

God of War did QTEs right. They were actual gameplay and if you fucked up it changed them up.
It wasn't "Press X to continue the scene", you actually had to pay attention. I remember a few that were actually hard enough to make the previous level seem easy.

The internet being a 'playground for bullies' is literally the same as any other medium, be it a newspaper, television, or a magazine. A film critic can shit all over the newest paranormal activity cash in, and people will read it and stay away from it, news reporters can report on a recent scandal and viewers will know what is currently happening in in society, but when god forbid people post legitimate and competent reasons why a game is absolutely shit, the heavens divide and the the autists descend to say that anything other than '10/10 IGN approved dew the dew' is just hate fueled internet bullying.

If your game is shit, maybe its time for the suits in the companies to understand that cash grab cinematic experiences are the furthest thing from a game you can market to a industry based on fucking PLAYING GAMES.

Maybe they should have extended each playable sequence by 30 minutes.
All they had to do was throw enemies from more directions, to prolong the game. Maybe throw in a challenge or 2 as well, like enemies that don't go down so easily.
