If you don't take out the banshees then you and your entire team get killed constantly. If you camp in the banshee spawn the no one else on the team completes any of the objectives.
Even if it's just slayer on btb it's impossible to get near the spawn because people on the other team are already always there.

How about if the damage dealt to you by teammates and the damage dealt to you by enemies was measured differently. If a teammate lowers your shield by being a faggot, it doesn't affect your enemies. They still have to lower your "enemy" shield. Obviously it would need to be explained or simply glossed over as without an in-game explanation.

This way, teammates can kill each other and be penalized, but they can't damage you and put you in a bad position before encountering enemies.

I didn't check their corpses specifically, but yeah, the Marines used that helmet with a clear visor throughout lots of the game, especially the bits in space. The guys who offered you the ride on the pelican at the end of the campaign also wore it, and so it showed up again in H1A.

I just wore it because of my fond memories with it from the beta.

I remember deciding that I was going to the piloting/driving service ribbon in the MP. I got to be a slick fucking warthog driver. Got to convincing some buddies of mine to fully load up a warthog on Hemorrhage and after a few early errors, we got to the point where we'd routinely rape both the enemy hog and wraith and then dominate and practically farm the spawns, covering the enemy hog and wraith spawns when they popped up.

Playing Halo 1,2,3, and Reach is the most fun I've ever had sitting down. In terms of pure enjoyability, they're the best games I've ever played. I hope there's a Marathon reboot that is just as fun.
