Have there been any good PC co-op games recently?
What do you play with your bros?
I bought Castle Crashers for me and friends but it was shit.
better side scrolling bro-op game coming through
>tfw own lots of co-op games
>tfw no bros
this pepe shit has gone too fucking far man
Trine 2 was a very fun experience. I feel like I'm the only one who liked the game, none of my buddies, real or internet, ever seem interested. Glad I got to play through it once at least.
Assault Android Cactus
Dungeon of the Endless
Risk of Rain
I really wish there were more new beat-em ups, Castle Crashers is pretty bad compared to lots of the old arcade games.
>tfw the only game my friends want to play together is league
>recommend tera, we hit the level cap and all endgame content in a month
What is there to do, /v/? I don't wanna go back to being a league shitter.
>play sins of a solar empire for the first time with a friend
>play in a small system with 2 ais
>after a few minutes, I detect that you can put a prize on someones head
>spend a lot of money
>"damn, the ai is very clever, someone put a lot of money on my head and now the pirates are destroying me"
Usually looks like this with my friend and me:
>get hyped over game
>buy 4 pack and share with two other friends
>they don't really want it
>we say fuck it and play
>have tons fun for couple hours
>eventually one of us has to stop because whatever
>next day we dont want to play it anymore
>game decays in library
>A Virus Named Tom
>Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
>Metal Slug 3
>Risk of Rain
>Sonic and All Stars Racing
More games need couch co-op
>I really wish there were more new beat-em ups
As do I But, there'll never be one better than
Streets of Rage 2
PC co-op is tough because no couch. L4D remains excellent. Payday 1 is still quite good. Payday 2 blows. KF is good mindless fun every now and again.

Shank 1 and 2 are excellent.
And you are right. Casual Crashers bites.
SoRR is better than SoR2
Does anyone want to get together and play Castle Crashers with me in a 4 person group
sometime next month maybe because I'm busy as fuck and shouldn't even be here right now?
Don't know, last time we had 4 xbone and 4 360 controllers but didn't think about which games to play so we just ended up playing analog poker.
Maybe I'll just suggest for someone to bring Risk by, that should take some hours.
This is in EA so I can't recommend it yet (although it's already really fun), it'll have coop which I expect to be great.
It's basically Doorkickers meets Monaco, a proper tactical heist game with stealth, stick-ups, disguises and shootouts
