Only Nintendo could save the situation since they were the ones that localized the last DQ games at Nintendo DS and made a better job at marketing. Expecially with DQ9 which sold pretty well at the west despite not being the best one of the series (still it was a pretty good game and the reason that made me start playing the older games). But now Nintendo was already busy with localizing other IPs that other companies won't bother with like Fantasy Life and Bravely Default (another game that SquareEnix didn't expected to sell well at west).
