I love the soundtrack in these games.

I've been playing through Ace Attorney randomly for a few years already, played through the GBA part on DS and I'm now midway through the bonusepisode I think. Are the sequels to this game as fucking hard as this case? Because this is the first one where I had to use a walkthrough to aid me.

Not that anon, nor do I have a problem with baby Watson, but I don't think that works that well as a comparison. Inate spirit channeling abilities in a world where spirit channeling exists isn't that unbelievable. Watson had at most four years as a functioning, semi-independent human being and already has a Ph.D, something that requires tremendous amounts of dedicated research(independent of intellect) and she's an established author at the same time? Since AA has yet to establish that doctorate requirements are different than the real world's I can see why some people might find that jarring.

Channeling the dead is fiction but fucking medicine is not. Its something you actually study.

Even if its fiction the series is still realistic. Its quite easy to interpret Watson turning from a full grown man who's a doctor into an 8 year old loli who's also a doctor as loli pandering because Japan simply MUST have their token loli character.

Its about as shoehorned as Kay was for AAI except its worseand actually annoying this time because it doesn't make any fucking sense for an 8 year old to be a professional doctor.

Also as far as Franziska goes. The way I interpreted that chapter was that she was still in training, hence why she often made minor mistakes or missed details in comparison to edgeworth when analyzing the crime.

If the universe resembles real life just ebough for you to interpret that studying to become a professional at something takes time (and it does because characters go to school/college in that game) then having an 8 year old have a phd in something that takes a long time to study like medicine doesn't make any sense and its a very very blatant character. Like, you can tell that the only reason she's a young girl is because of pandering.

At least for Franziska she has the excuse of being tutored by her father ever since she was young.

Lets try to put things in perspective.

When Franziska was introduced, she was 19 years old and described as a prodigy. Any intent of showing her backstory probably wasn't planned at that point. Thats besides the point though, the real point here is that they introduced her when she was at a reasonable age.

This character thats getting introduced is supposed to be Watson, an already established character in another series. Like, completely ripped out from that series just like Holmes...except he gets portrayed as an 8 year old girl with a phd in medicine for no other reason.

Setting aside the whole "it doesn't matter how young you are". Why exactly was this change done? Because as blatant as the design is I think its oretty obvious.

Hence why some people find it intolerable.

He would integrate his mood matrix findings into another question, not too dissimilar to his pressing questions, and it always seemed somewhat presentable to court. Acro acknowledges that he was being a shit, he was just so mad at her that he didn't care though.
