I'm fucking pissed.

Assassin's Creed 1 STILL has the best escapes in the entire series. Best assassinations, best chase theme, best atmopshere.

LOOK AT THE FUCKING COLORS AND MUSIC. SO FUCKING HYPE. You FELT like a fucking assassin.

The asssassinations in all the other ACs are so fucking disappointing in comparison.

The only downside it had, was the repetitive gameplay. Other than that, great game.
2 and brotherhood simply crushed it, brotherhood was the serie's peak IMHO

most of the AC1 assassinations leading up to the kill were mediocre

I love that soundtrack. The reprise at ~1:40 is beautiful, but I'm not a fan of the whiny horns or flutes or whatever sandinstrument they used after it.
