Cartoons and animated films as a child. Being exposed to a lot of that as a child as your developing probably causes one to gain an attraction to things like furries over time, since that's what you're seeing as you're slowly sexually developing. Like, as a child one day you might be like "Nala is pretty" when watching The Lion King or something, and it all escalates from there once you hit puberty.

Absolutely ridiculous.
>I don't find that totally unappealing, but it's mechanically mundane: pattern recognition, timing, and fighting an enemy with an enormous hit point bar isn't tried-and-true--it's overdone.
It can't be both? Certainly video games doing something new and unique is nice, but good stuff is still good stuff. Every Nintendo "rehash" is still an amazing game. Just because its been done before doesn't make it bad. Boss battles are supposed to take everything you've learned while playing the game up to the point. They're supposed to add even more challenge to the player. There are bad boss fights as described, and certainly we have something to gain from trying to be something new, but they're hardly harmful to modern game design. And the games mentioned aren't the ones I'd use when referring to good boss battles; I'd mention pretty much every Nintendo title as having brilliant boss battles.

If facing the sun, you'd be immediately subjected to incredibly bad sunburns; the blood in your lungs would start to boil off, causing long lasting damage. Your brain would be subjected to severe oxygen deprivation; you would lose consciousness in about 70-90 seconds. You would also suffer the effects of pressure related illnesses, in the same way as ascending too quickly in a pressurized deep water submersable.
It is survivable however.
Actually, the movie Event Horizon had a relatively realistic version of it when one guy got ejected out of an airlock and caught by someone else immediately and dragged back into another one.

That aside, I love Gunvalkyrie for exactly the reason in OP. It's only a single player game, but it's amazing how much the game opens up to you just as soon as you get good. It doesn't technically "reward' any players, with the exception of score, but the amount of fun and things you can do in the game are directly related to how hard you try to git gud at it.
>>268463657
Assuming you got back inside, you'd need a crash cart pretty quickly with intubation to force feed you high content oxygen, which you'd probably have to be on for a couple of weeks while the burns in your lungs healed. You would also have to be treated for severe sun burns; like 30 seconds in space directly subjected to the Earth's sunlight is something like the equivielent of sitting on a California beach for like 16 hours.
You would also very likely have to through treatment for radiation poisoning; interstellar space is absolutely blasted with gamma-radiation. Yes, the same kind produced by atomic weaponry. Because stars are gigantic, unprotected fusion reactors powered by their own gravity. You'd eat a nearly lethal dose of radiation in exposed areas.
Space is scary; there is a reason manned space flight is very hard.

>>268467161
Explosive decompression doesn't actually refer in any way to people exploding; it refers to the massive winds from a major breach in a pressurized hull of some form acting on objects inside with blast force.
The most common form of it experienced on Earth is when a door or some other piece of an airplane blows out at 35000 feet. You'd suddenly have severe pressure changes, oxygen deprivation, and shit would be flying around. On more the on occasion it has happened to planes that made it to the ground and people who were walking around were blasted out the side of the plane.
But the vacuum of space is survivable. There was an ultra-high altitude skydiver who had a suit malfunction and survived it; he was so high up he might as well have been IN space as far as pressure is concerned. There was also a NASA guy who was inside a vacuum test chamber when he had a suit breach; he survived, with much the same injuries as I described earlier, minus the radiation damage.

Oftentimes one (such as myself) won't know that I'll refer back to something until a later date. Perhaps someone brings up something and you once talked about that subject and don't want to rewrite everything; You can go back and find it. You didn't know that you'd need it, but now that you remember, you can just search name and find it extremely easily.
>how do you struggle with this
I dunno anon. I can't remember the exact date I made that one post about Final Fantasy XII so many months ago.
>Most are hardly used for their intended purpose. They're used now to "adopt" a personality and get a rise out of people.
But just because somethin is used badly doesn't mean it itself is bad; furthermore that doesn't sound much different from normal shitposting. If someone says something stupid or is trying to "get a rise out of people", then aren't people simply supposed to ignore that? And does that not happen with people outside of tripcode users? If someone posts good legitimate content, tripcode or not, there's nothing to worry about. If someone posts stupid shit, tripcode or not, you're supposed to ignore it and report it if possible.
>There is no reason to get a trip unless your identity is ESSENTIAL to the thread which is almost never the case.
Like I said, convenience. And it doesn't even matter if a tripcode really does serve no good purpose; Like I said, if someone posts shit, ignore it. If someone posts good stuff, be happy to see good stuff.
>Nobody gets bullshitted on 4chan unless you're new
People who have been here for a long time have still wound up gotten screwed over by others before, not realizing what was going on.

Anyone posting something with a source. Anyone who regularly posts true and correct content (which is easier to notice if one is using a tripcode).

>But just because somethin is used badly doesn't mean it itself is bad
When its rarely if ever used properly then it as a whole is considered awful. The times its used properly nobody complains
>furthermore that doesn't sound much different from normal shitposting. If someone says something stupid or is trying to "get a rise out of people", then aren't people simply supposed to ignore that?
You're right, shitposting is bad. People should ignore shitposting? Obviously, but they don't and the thread goes to shit. Its the same with tripcodes. If they aren't providing anything useful but thread derailment at the time why would you defend it?
>Like I said, convenience
Not essential, like I said.
> And it doesn't even matter if a tripcode really does serve no good purpose

>What are Fighting Games?
You mean those games that punish earnest players on the lower 95% of the learning curve while rewarding bad players for mashing out invincible reversals and using braindead setups?
Sure, at the high end fighting games are great, once both players have a strong handle on their characters. But it's a long ass road to get to that point, and the player with the better instincts will often get run over by scrubby tactics along the way.
Players that are behind shouldn't be rewarded with clutches. However, the mistakes of people that are ahead should be punished harder than theirs.
That way, if you're good, you stay good. If you have a rough start, you can catch up if you really are the better player.
I wonder what's going to happen to furries now that 2D animation is dead and talking/anthropomorphic animals are looked down upon. They'll probably die off eventually.
But what's going to replace them in 10 years time? Autists who vigorusly fap to same-faced chicks like these two?
