I can see it if that's how they role next gen, but if there isn't a third installment of the current gen, a lot of shit is going to be left unanswered .
That is going to bite them later on if they don't do something meaningful to fill in the holes left in X and Y, which is shaping up to be on the low half of the Tier list of games.

Oh, it will get a third version. BW was all about duality and separation, that's why it had two games for a sequel. They're spacing it throughout the 3DS's lifespan at a rate that suggests it's impossible that there won't be a third version of XY.
