Should I make Tharja a Dark Knight or a Sorcerer?
Whoops, meant to reply to >>265688183
I'm playing through FE:A finally, because I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. I thought that Tharja was some integral part of the story duet to the amount of waifufags on /v/, but then I almost killed her just like I killed the first recruitable enemy in the capitol.
Tharja is a whore. Miriel is clearly the superior waifu, pic related.
All Tharja is best Tharja so long as she's squeezed into that amazing bodystocking
>Someone who's healthy and normal
>Awakening has ruined any possibility of a normal Fire Emblem discussion
>Mfw the next games are going to cater even more to waifufags because of it's success.
I will never have her bodystocking encased ass engulf my face while her hosed feet stroke my cock ;-;
Literally every usable character that isn't Robin or Chrom is forgettable as fuck if you don't use them. Even characters introduced early on like Lissa and Frederick are forgettable if you don't use them.
Tharja is a whore, and Miriel is constantly in situations where her focus on knowledge gets her in trouble, making for entertaining support conversations. Her criticals and general dialogue are also pretty good.
I don't see anyone saying anything about Tharja other than she looks good, and that she is, as I have said before, a whore.
There is literally not a single, more unlikeable, useless, forgettable, bland and annoying person than Miriel. I don't give a shit if people want to fuck the game's bicycle, a 1000 years old loli, a rabbit or their daughter, but hearing that there are some people in this world that actually willingly married Miriel makes me feel disgusted and wish I could live in an universe different from these people.
>its illegal to kill these waifu fags
This is all I want in life
It would feel so smooth as she worked me over with her nylon soles, smearing my pre across her feet as she gently gyrated her ass against my face...
>tfw you will never be as sexy when wearing bodystocking
Why even live?
I'm a fucking fag and I don't feel sexual attraction to women, so I chose my wife based on who I would like to use the most. I like mages and I found her dialogue and general demeanor to be kind of entertaining.
I wasn't going to let Robin marry some stupid loli waifubait or a Plegian whore, was I?
People just like to marry Tharja because she has a crush on you, and people who've never been shown affection by a woman before flock to her immediately even if she's a shitty person.
Lissa is loli waifubait and I'm gay. It's my genuine opinion that she's the most forgettable early-game character. My Robin is currently a sage and I'm levelling up Libra and Maribelle so they can be relevant again.
What is it with Nintendo and sorceresses craving protagonist dick all of a sudden?
That's a little better, but Miriel is still too awful.
I don't like any of the Awakening girls barring like a couple, and none of them enough to have as waifus, so I just play as loli MU because it's fun to have a loli dragon as the super threatening final boss of the game.
don't know but women sure do know how to manipulate men.
You're right. My judgement isn't clouded by lust for what looks like a 12 year old girl that does nothing but giggle, and I clearly cannot form an opinion on the matter. You have bested me.
Why not go to /feg/ then, your constant whining has convinced Awakening fans to hare their own threads.
Too bad /feg/ is still mostly pre-Awakeing waifu threads like all old Fire Emblem threads, so you really are out of luck.
Ah yeah.. I felt kind of bad about doing it at the time because I had no idea how to recruit him and my only interaction with him left me with no great desire to find out how to do so, but I figured that I could have recruited him after I killed him and I heard the sad piano play.
Trust me, I regret it. I've made sure to not allow anyone to die, so remembering that I could have saved him still frustrates me. I know he wasn't my troops so it's really not a big deal, but you know. I miss you, Gaius.
this. she also has the same body as tharja
It's still a shit-tier mechanic that makes characters lose their sense of uniqueness. It just feels lame as shit if anyone can be anything. Why not allow us to choose our own stats on level up while you're at it? And allow custom portraits and names for all characters. And a custom storyline. Fuck, why not make a custom language? Hyd tot nama doodan fargh nama zazh? Nimtak nama bipban famisira?
>It's still a shit-tier mechanic that makes characters lose their sense of uniqueness
Except in the past that "uniqueness" is typically whether the character is amazing in their class or a complete waste of time.
There are dozens of FE characters that are worthless in their games that would have been better off if they could reclass.
Reclass atleast lets you use more characters without having a bad party.
They can't remove class changing now! If they go that route, they might as well just remove classes entirely! And then fuck it, why not, let's cut abilities and stats too, until we have only one stat. Then let's cut characters, so all you do is flip a coin!
Slippery slope arguments are dumb
That's exactly what Miriel is.
And don't give me that shit about Dark Mage Miriel, even Lucina and Nah can be tittymonsters if reclassed to Dark Mage or Archer.
It was changed for the English release, yeah.
Except class changing is a genuinely stupid mechanic that makes individual characters feel pointless. Allowing characters to customize too much makes them less unique. What's the point in having a bunch of different characters if they're just blobs of similar stats and they can all be the same class?
They have different class sets and different caps and growths. Sure, Virion can be a mage, but he's never going to be as good at it as Miriel.
Only Avatar and Morgan can be every class, and those are literally made to be faceless blobs you can imprint whatever you want upon.
>They have different class sets and different caps and growths.
Ok so again: why not customize those too? Those create an imbalance between characters and make some clearly better than others. By the same argument you used to try and justify class changing I can use to eradicate caps and growths. Have all characters have access to all classes, same growths, and same caps.
It's already stupid that anyone can be the same class and the only thing that differentiates them at this point are growths and caps. And if they're willing to take the step to allow anyone to be any class, what stops them from going for custom growths or having growths tied directly to classes instead of characters?
What the fuck are you talking about, did you even play the game? Not everybody can be every class, and I never used that argument. Furthermore, you're falling back into slippery slope arguments. Just because they're adjusting the amount of freedom you have doesn't mean you should be given ALL the freedom. It's not that black or white.
All class changing leads to is cookie-cutter teams with same min/maxed classes. There is currently no reason whatsoever to have any male be anything besides sage and any female be anything besides dark flier, except one token physical attack combo. Then you have your buffbots and staffbots, and that's it. No one will ever be any of the 20 other classes because you can switch out of them.
More pictures of the army's best body, please
>What the fuck are you talking about, did you even play the game?
I'm not talking about just Awakening you shithead. People tried to justify the awakening infinite class changing by referencing the previous 2 games that used it. While they can't be ANYTHING, they can be enough different classes that it doesn't matter. Particularly the children. They have such a diverse array of skills and classes they can be that they're essentially just blobs of stats with nothing particularly unique about them.
>Furthermore, you're falling back into slippery slope arguments.
Because you keep saying that introducing infinite class changing is fine. It's an example of introducing customization at the cost of character uniqueness. If you are willing to defend such a change, then why not things like growths being tied to classes instead of characters? This same change reduces power disparity between characters and allows more customization.
It's not black or white but it is an issue of "when is too much?", and in my opinion allowing extreme freedom of class changing is too much and is bad for Fire Emblem
not them, but just a reminder that Awakening has 2 reps in Smash, it saved Fire Emblem from becoming canned permanently and the next Fire Emblem will likely be a sequel
>more min maxing
The mechanic could be amazing if done well. FE4 did it a lot better in my opinion though the children do still wind up being broken. I'd like something close to 4 but harder in the second half. Awakening just did classes like shit, skills like shit, and children like shit.
>You will never rub your erection against Tharja's stockinged feet as she nonchalanty continues to study her dark magic
FE4 did the skills worse, it's the most unfair implementation of it, you literally need a skill to attack twice in a round of combat.
Plus Astra and Luna could activate together.
>FE4 did the skills worse
Eh just the fact that Pursuit was a skill, really. Then again I think double attacking in FE needs to be completely overhauled. As in double attacking needs to go and they need to put something else in because it has single handedly made speed the most broken stat for 13 games now.
Except IS always act to refine what they put in the games before and they never just stick with the same things(Path of Radiance didn't have a world map did it?).
This time they were cramming everything they wanted into one title because it could have been the last.
If they wanted to just make a sequel with more of the same it would have came out in Japan sometime this year. It's been longer between Awakening's release and now than between Fire Emblem(GBA) and Fire Emblem:Sacred Stones.
>tfw I beat prologue through chapter 4 of Lunatic+ in one day after trying for weeks
Shit I was on a roll. I even went -def like a man. Marrying Tharja is going to be so sweet
>Tharja is obsessive Stalker and a whore
>Anna is a gold digger
>Severa is a cunt
>Maribelle is uptight and wants to turn you into a "gentlman"
>Olivia is annoying as fuck
>Cherche is, I dunno... Cherche
I really don't know who to choose.
>Eh just the fact that Pursuit was a skill, really.
Critical hits were also skills. Astra did full damage, Luna completely ignored defense, Prayer(or Miracle) made some units close to unkillable and finally the fact that some units had a bunch of skills(and were usually the best stat-wise anyway) others had none.
So just how boingy is Tharja?
Would she jiggle if you spanked her?
