As a noob who didn't even play the wii smash I also noticed Pikachu's thunder to have shortened range.

I guess I'm happy it will take more skill to use considering how fucking spammable it used to be.

What are you talking about, Pika is a beast, forward smash actually got buffed cause it goes farther now, along with the new pivot attacks make it incredible. Thunder is now super safe to use outside of the stage because of the aerial body it give you when you are straight down, back air is now an incredible move rather than being fucking useless, AND still has one of the best recoveries ever

That's not really true. Both his forward and up smash have fine KO power, pikachu is just so small that they're tricky to land against a half-decent player. You need to pay attention and not commit to a smash if it might miss. Grabs are great, and it's super fucking easy to get the enemy off the ledge.

I've been playing a lot of Megaman, and so far my most reliably kills have been coming from either Dair meteor kills, or fully charged F-smashes when opponents try to recover.

A lot of Megaman's priority should be making an opening to push the opponent off of the edge, metal blade can make that opening, running attacks can push them quite far off or grabs too, then you can try for the meteor hard knuckle.
I've been able to KO level 9 CPUs at about 60% damage this way.

Am I imagining things or is the 2nd Quick Attack really strong? It does just enough knockback for you to combo it into up smash or up tilt at almost any percent. I haven't tried it against real people yet though so I'm not sure how easy it would be to catch a Pikachu out of it.
