>Who Project M here?
everyone now that the smash 4 roster leaked
>mfw me and my buddy used to play project m together almost every day our senior year
he always fucking played mario and kicked my ass
Falcon main here. I'll be sticking to PM now that I saw that Ganondorf is still his shit Brawl version in Smash 4, so Falcon is probably still going to be shit as well. Going slow is boring to me now, I had enough of that shit in Brawl.
I do, my friends call Ness OP because I don't suck.
In case someone doesn't already have it here's the template.
Can anyone give me tips against Olimar with someone that isn't Marth?
Everyone says Olimar is one of the worst characters in the game, but I have trouble doing anything when I don't pick Marth, and counterpicking every time my friend chooses him feels really gay.
I use Mario and Diddy in addition to Marth, and it feels a lot tougher to do anything as Diddy or Mario. both of their projectiles are absorbed by pikmin thrown, and if I approach, I get grabbed. The only tool of Marth's that even helps me get in is down tilt, and that can even be risky if he has purple pikmin.
Go into Smash recently, so learning mostly Marth, Sheik and Captain Falcon as I heard they are to start with and learn fundamentals. Playing mostly Project M and little bit of Melee.
My friends don't use olimar so im sorry i can't help
Do you know how to shield grab? If he dash attacks a lot, that could help
Also try to L cancel neutral air with marth a lot
It's a good counter for people jumping around
L-lets just post mains...
Project M has the better roster, though.
Maybe. B- isn't really as fun as people say it is, nor is it as popular as PM.
B- has some things that's pretty great about it but overall it's just a less polished and less hyped mod. If it got a more professional development team and it didn't have brawl's ass movesets, then it'd be better.
It's actually depressing to know DK won't ever be this good again.
Sakurai even aped the best thing going for him, the dash roll. Before anyone even bothers to say this isn't true, Sakurai had shit to do with DK's barrel roll from DKC. He did the opposite, ignoring it for 3 games in favor of a completely useless and awkward kick.
>Not leaving boot imprints on your friends
Mad as fuck they still kept Ganon a clone AND shit for the 3rd time in a row, made me drop the game altogether.
Leave it to modders to make a game better than an "AAA" developer.
Use the pastebin
I'm a PMFaggot and I don't think it's an outright better but Smash4 dropping the characters it did + the characters PM are adding are going to make it closer than a mod should.
I know most techniques at mid level play, wavedashing(though I'm not the best at making use of it), l-cancelling, SHFFL fair and nair as Marth, but with Olimar, it just feels like he can use his side b all day for free. Not only that, but he has a really good grab, and can spike incredibly easily, and he has a tether which are really good at the moment.
It's really frustrating to fight against.
Method 1: Install a virtual homebrew channel.
Method 2: Install a virtual SD card and boot the brawl ISO and go the hackless method.
Method 3: Patch a brawl ISO to have Project M.
If I were Sakurai, I would feel very embarrassed. And all the modders are doing is taking feedback from people, something that Sakurai doesn't do because he apparently doesn't care what anyone else has to say, going as far as to ignore constructive criticism from people who know his game more than he ever did.
People think I'm joking when I say that Sakurai needs to go. Smash will only be mediocre or slightly alright with him around, but will never reach truly show any amazing potential. He holds it back way too much, and for completely insane reasons.
I like Kerfuffle's more, the only character I'll miss is Ice Climbers and none of the new Project M characters interest me except that Roy is back and Pichu Bros if real would be pretty neat to have if they did a good Pikachu/Ice Climbers style hybrid
Melee's still the best core gameplay though
PK Fire is really bullshit, if it hits you at all, shield or not, you can usually get mega big huge damage for free.
That and PK Flash being as fast and as long range as it is are my only problems with him. At least he doesn't have a bullshit tether, giving his godlike recovery.
I think Sakurai is fine, the issue is HAL hasn't worked on the games since Melee
Brawl was fucking Game Arts of all people and while Smash For being Bandai Namco I get the feeling they'll do a way better job but I still think HAL are the only big devs truly capable of the job
Well I think Sakurai thinks that a lot of people will want a lot of diferent things and that it's better to do what he thinks is best.
Anyway he's ignoring the fact that the people who kept Melee alive for 13 years were the ones hyping Brawl and that they don't care for Smash 4.
This. I expected to spend most of my time with Smash 4 when it came out, but losing Wolf really hurts so it'll probably be a mix
Toon Link's still in both so it's all good
I've attempted it with Marth, and it is doable, but he can easily grab me afterwards.
I don't see how I could get away with hitting them as Mario or Diddy. I guess their nairs would be the best option, but I'm pretty sure he could easily get the grab after.
Up b works? I'll have to practice this, then.
> tfw 3.5 zelda is garbage
Good thing I started picking up fox and the soon to be buffed Ganon.
And a really fucking good clone at that, they even got rid of his retarded volcano kick for a double hitbox grand slam.
>Everyones face when you perfectly land the up-tilt
>Plusle and Minun
I hate to break it to you anon, but...
Did you watch some Project M stream with faggots playing anime songs while playing the game? Just download the game (easiest method is downloading ISO on piratebay IMO) and that's it.
I'm just gonna plug the Netplay matchmaking website. Dolphin netplay is actually pretty rad, and everyone is using this site now.
Also DDD is the best. Scrubs can't handle the hammer.
i hate how every single thing in smash has a gay term some kid made up
Swedefag here. I play Link though I'm not gay. I'll play pretty anyone from Norway, Finland and even Denmark.
If you have a controller plugged in port 2, but not in port 1, and you go to "training mode," play training mode for a couple seconds, exit training mode, and go to versus mode, you will be able to play as two characters at once.
Could they just name him "electric duo" or something instead, and have both Plusle and Minun, Pichu bros and Notch Eared and Shiny Pichu as alternative costumes? Just give them nothing but generic electric sounds and small cute creature noises, and let people everyone have their will
Literally nobody wants plusle and minun. They're two no-names that nobody knows nor care about and everyone knows Pichu from melee and Pichu Bros from the movie.
When will people stop posting this shitty "P&M" meme?
I kind of feel the same way.
If he hits you with it, he gets a free grab, no matter which way you go. He can also keep using PK fire and hitting with it, extending the damage.
I dislike adding anime characters to Smash Bros with no relation to video games. I wish they'd add notch eared pichu and shiny pichu instead. At least they appear in a video game. I think Pichu bros should be the alternative not the actual video game characters. Also, I like plusle and minun.
I distinctly remember a cry for Plusle and Minun in Brawl. A lot of people thought it would be a natural successor to Pichu and a good rep for 3rd gen.
We would never get that 3rd gen rep though. Or 4th or even 5th.
I don't care cause I don't even like pokemon. Mewtwo's cool though.
the only shitty name I can think of is "wavedash", and by extension "wavelanding" and "waveshining"
I mean, what other term are you going to use to describe canceling a dash attack with an up-smash besides "Dash Attack Canceled Up-Smash" or DACUS?
I'm neither and I want Pichu because I want my low-tier main back.
I mean who wouldn't want an intentionally "worst character in the game" that's still viable in tourneys and fun to play? Just look at fucking olimar and jigglypuff. They're the worst characters and even they're still really fun to play and have won a couple sets in tourneys. Not to mention it's a unique idea and Pichu would be a wonderful "fastest and lightest" character in the game.
Fuck you niggers, I want Pichu back because he was the lightest and fastest character in Melee and I loved that, nothing in PM is as fast or light as him either. It's a void that needs to be fucking filled.
How is wavedash, waveland and waveshining shitty terms? Wavedashing comes from the wavelike pattern of your character(going up and down while moving side to side), wavelanding is performing a wavedash just as you land, which makes sense, and waveshining is simply adding a shine to the wavedash.
How is this any stupider than footsies?
Just go to IIRC and play friendlies. Most people that aren't good want to only play friendlies. Once you find couple of guys at your level add them as friends and keep playing against them if you don't want to fight better players.
I fucking loved Pichu. Melee was pretty much all I played for so many years, that I got attached to every character, stage, piece of music, and piece of content in it.
But Project M isn't Melee. Pichu doesn't really have much to offer anymore. Sonic is the fastest, and Jigglypuff is the lightest. But that's why I still have my Melee disc.
I really do suck complete ass at Smash. Hell, I rarely even use shields or dodge roll until every once in a while when I'll consciously think "Huh, maybe I should" and then I'll start over-using them for the next couple of rounds until I forget again.
I'll practice one day.
I'm modding Project M to make it more pub friendly but still retaining all the new content and movesets.
Anyone interested to try out/make request?
I have nothing against Pichu man. I'm all for more characters, regardless of who they pick. You're pretty likely to get Pichu in some form thanks to >>260193220 and the dev team probably realizes what >>260195859 this anon said, hence changing it up a bit to give Pichu more viability
Use that website and play ranked games. After 5 ranked games it give you a score. Then just play with people with a score around yours or slightly higher. Best way to get better imo.
I love Project M, I'd say I main as random for Normal vs, and Ganondorf/Bowser/Dedede for Turbo
>mfw Turbo mode makes character speed basically a non-issue
I wish I could play netplay. My checksum comes out wrong after I build my PM iso no matter what I do. I tried dumping my own Brawl iso to my HD, downloading a Brawl Iso off a torrent and another of a direct download and nothing fucking works.
A couple of zelda mains, including me to some extent, tried working with the PM:BR on zelda's nayru and the entire collaboration went to shit.
The person responsible for the previous builds more or less got kicked to the curb.
The person leading the new 3.5 zelda build is confirmed to be a autist who is also the one responsible for giving ganon some very flight friendly buffs. After talking to some PMBR members and what they could gather, this guy has no fucking clue how to handle zelda and she is going to be absolute garbage
> Nayru's don't carry as much momentum
> insane landing lag
> Knockback is directly reduced
> Floatiness of Jiggs with the run speed of Luigi
My condolences go out to the zelda mains. It was fun while it lasted.
There are two main changes to the gameplay:
- Upwards gravity is slightly reduced. This way most characters jump a little higher and are more fun to move around overall. Downward gravity is not affected. Characters still fall considerably fast and fastfall speeds are unaffected.
- No ledge invincibility. Actually there's a very limited time frame that allows edgehogging, but after that the character is vulnerable. Forces players to return to the stage asap and encourages edgeguarding.
The other changes are character-specific. I can give you more info on some characters if you want.
The mod is pretty much done right now, but I'm still open to suggestions, especially regarding characters I don't play that much.
Since PM was aimed at tournament play, the purpose of this mod was to make most characters playable by average players and long-time players who never got into tournament techniques and frame data. In-depth combo knowledge is not required and almost all characters are fun to play right out of the bow. My aim, right now, is to eliminate that "almost".
If the purpose of this mod is to help average players do advanced techniques as you say, then why is Luigi's cyclone recovery still prohibitively difficult to pull off effectively?
Wait till it's actually confirmed to fling your buzzwords around please.
I'm only giving you the light of day because I wouldn't think too kindly of them adding something inspired from the anime rather than an actual game, but everything they've included thus far adheres to a fairly strict rule that they're not going around adding shit from outside of Smash universe willy nilly.
Squirtle Squad Glasses and Mewtwo's Armor excluded but they were something I think most people could agree was cool.
As someone that isn't particularly good at smash, sounds good. I assume P:M was balanced with competitive play in mind so when playing P:M with friends there seem to still be some moves/characters that are still a bit OP and/or are too easy to cheese with.
Would you mind giving me a quick summary of the changes to G&W and R.O.B.?
And if you're looking to get suggestions for that "almost" I would just suggest releasing it and addressing that in later updates since you'll be able to get a wide range of feedback to more effectively make changes and hopefully be less prone to be making changes that are baised due to a lack of this feedback.
I don't think you got things straight, anon. I'm not a PM member. I'm a modder working on PM to make it different once more.
I don't plan on helping average players to learn or pull off advanced techniques. They can do that practicing in melee or PM already.
I'm just making a mod eliminating the need to know and perform those techniques to properly play those characters.
I forgot to mention, about a month ago an anon asked me to restore ToonLink's N-Air to brawl's animation. I managed to do it and damage was also slightly boosted. If you're here, you might be interested to try it out.
It just seems wrong to ignore the already-present pichu-akin duo when they're so similar. I also prefer them as a better fit for this duo but I'm sure there's plenty of rabid melee autism that will just keep screaming for Pichu... and how right I am.
I think a lot of tourneyfags would find the idea of more limited edgehogging bad and protest it since it only serves to prolong a match, giving the offending player more chances to recover, right? I'm not stating this as fact, just trying to get into the mindset of how competitive smash is looked at.
Pichu is a known character that's actually been in the series.
Plusle+Minun are no-name characters that, while they're a duo, they're also a no-name fucking character that literally nobody cares about and if anyone were to add another pokemon in smash someone's head would be on a fucking pike. Pichu is the only pokemon that can be added without severe backlash.
>they were major characters in a pokemon movie and a pokemon spin-off
Alright. I admint I don't play G&W and ROB too much so I didn't make big changes to them. ROB is actually still in its PM version. The only change for G&W is that his UpB always ends in specialfall now. I want to boost his UpAir though since he now attacks only once.
The mod is already released here:
It just doesn't get a lot of exhibition because I don't have a blog or anything like that and on the PM forum they would just shit on it non-stop.
Personally, I've always viewed edgehogging as a very cheap tactic, requiring no actual skill to pull off. I find the idea of a player going off stage to make sure his opponent goes down much more entertaining to play and spectate.
If you can tether, you can UpB, and this time you'll be able to grab the ledge, because your UpB will almost certainly bounce your opponent off the ledge.
Oh, that was someone else's mod. PM is getting tons of lag added when you edgehog a tether character. Forced jump that's about a second long, followed by a half second of landing lag. Oh, but don't worry, you still have the option of moving backward while jumping to land back on the ledge. You know, because that's safe. God forbid the person just stay on the ledge.
>Personally, I've always viewed edgehogging as a very cheap tactic, requiring no actual skill to pull off. I find the idea of a player going off stage to make sure his opponent goes down much more entertaining to play and spectate.
I agree with the spirit of your decision, I'd much rather have more on stage play than someone getting gimped by an edgehog but I think to some degree it may be necessary just to keep the pace of the match fast and interesting.
If not that, then some alternative because while I think edgehogging works well enough, we can certainly do better.
>people give a fuck about Pichu, an electric rat
>people don't give a fuck about Plusle and Minun, electric rats
Now if only there were a good reason for all of this and not just 'muh melee' autism.
>Lucas normally placed at either S or A tier
>Ness relegated to C or D
Am I the only one that thinks it should be the other way around? I mean, Ness has one of the best projectiles in the game, four different ways to edgeguard without even leaving the stage, a spike and two kill aerials, two different kill throws and a throw that sets up a pretty major combo, and a slew of disjointed multi-hit attacks on top of a side smash with a tipper.
The only thing Lucas really has on him in my opinion is a tether, but Ness and Lucas already have some long range recovery (even if PKT2 is fox-tier in terms of predictability), and Ness makes up for it by having the fastest grab in the game and an easier time getting it off from hit confirm.
Any opinions on this?
That and the fact that Pichu was in Melee so it would make more sense for Pichu bros to be in PM. Pichu is liked by many after all, whereas not one single person gives a shit about Plusle and Minun.
Lucas has way better arial options in general, not to mention simply stronger arials. Look at PinkFresh when he plays Lucas. It's fucking ridiculous. And that usmash is strong as shit. Couple that with the fact that the fucker doesn't die ever and you got a really good character.
I'd love it if Ness got a decent buff too though.
Honestly, I don't think tournament results are completely valid at this stage in the game's development. There's basically a whole new tier list every other week, and characters like Diddy (which used to be considered low tier) suddenly get a huge showing out of nowhere whereas characters like Mewtwo (which people think need a nerf) barely have anyone playing him.
People are still discovering new things. A single player or even a couple of players doing well with a character means nothing unless that character is winning unanimously and consistently, which no one seems to be doing.
If kirby walling people off the map wasn't do much fun, I'd pick ivy in a heartbeat.
That's actually not me, anon.
So, we are just at two now, I'll give you that much.
However, my point was that there's no objective reason people wouldn't like Plusle and Minun if they liked Pichu; they're practically carbon copies of each other. You might as well use the official electric rodent duo if you're going to do an electric rodent duo. It just makes more sense.
It must be installed over PM to work. There's a readme file for more info.
I use a USB loader with a NTSC iso (I have a pal wii). The mod also works in dolphin. You just need to modify the virtual sd card accordingly.
Also, I just tested all tethers and "special" tethers and they all work correctly.
>play Project M with a bunch of friends
>aw shit nigga Roy and Mewtwo are back
>pick Dedede, my nigga of niggas
>friends pick charizard, Mewtwo and Roy
>wtf like half of the cool levels are gone
>whatever, fuck it
>Charizard gets smash ball
>all the while Dedede now plays like shit
>Somehow mewtwo and roy had final smashes before the poketrio
>thirty minutes later the game crashes
And that's why we haven't played SSB since January.
People want edge hogging because the edge isn't the only place to land. Brawl made it so if you passed the edge you automatically grabbed it but before that it was more like a safety bonus for timing your recovery right. You don't have to go to the ledge you could just land on the stage, the ledge is just extra. Also recoveries in general were super buffed in Brawl it used to be a bigger risk to fight someone off the side and it was harder to make it all the way back in melee. The PM recoveries just retain their Brawl elements.
Well it's doing a very poor job at that.
I guess you have a point.
The intro has darker coloring when compared to Brawls.
Brawl intro is pretty shit too.

I was thinking of restoring Ganondorf's run animation because it was emphasizing his weight. Should I?
That's because my mod only contains a gct, character changes and animation changes over the content of PM. To keep the filesize down.
>wtf like half of the cool levels are gone
I would love to know what you consider "cool levels"
Because that'd require them to spawn Ivy and Squirtle and possibly crash the game.
>Well it's doing a very poor job at that.
Opinions. Most people catch the reference and you're ruined by /v/culture unable to see anything as a genuine effort, preferring to shit on something whenever possible.
>It's mainly the music that gives it that autistic edgy vibe.
>Same exact menu music as brawl.
so adding purple and the logo is edgy now? what kind of bubble wrap playpen do you live in?
Yeah Link is OP i think. His neutral game is retarded good thanks to his projectiles which they made amazing. M2K thinks he's one of the best in the game alongside mewtwo, lucas, pit, and diddy.
Project M fags are just the worst.
On par with Hitler.
>I was thinking of restoring Ganondorf's run animation because it was emphasizing his weight. Should I?
FUCK no. He ran like an out of shape middle aged man.
He's going to run like this in Smash4 too isn't he? God fucking damn it Sakurai.
Smash 4 fags are worse now, I'd say.
I should know. I was one of them up until Dark Pit.
Blame your friend. If I recall correctly, the only song that isn't in solely because it's the background music for a ported stage is Mushroom Kingdom II.
Since it was brought up, what are some god tier menu songs? I've been using Maverick Hunter X's X Stage Select for years now.
All the nintenyear olds came back from highschool, thread's going to shit.
Wait until 10-11PM PST to make a new one.
I use Smash 64's character select theme.
What, you mean custom mods? I'm talking about the music that plays before the intro around when PM first loads and that gay "Secure your strap to contain hype!" text always appears. Who the fuck is even using a wiimote for this anyways?
>Why do people correct other's lies/ignorance?
>Why do people argue about things they disagree on?
>Why do people enjoy things?
Jesus fucking christ.
They should add Simon Belmont. I know they have the rule which keeps most people from arguing for it but come on. He's fucked as far as Smash 4 goes, it's just not happening.
PM is our last chance for Simon. He needs to be playable in Smash.
>Who the fuck is even using a wiimote for this anyways?
The joke went so far over your head that if it were to look back, it'd actually see the past, since it'd catch up with light from a hundred years ago.
There are other changes too, for example see the sky. But it doesn't bother me that much, I can just smash A to skip it anyways.
However it does say something about the production values and why Project M will never be widespread. Which is shame, I really like the game.
If they made those pokemon a character than they would be risking a cease and desist from Nintendo. Better to play it safe and put a character in that has already been in a previous smash game.
>playing melee on training wheels
Nah. PM is the tourneyfag mod. No self respecting person plays it. I don't mean tourneyfag in the sense of someone who likes to play competitively, but rather that kid who always picked fox and played on final destination because that's what the pros did. PM is just a shitty, casualized version of melee for people who want a smaller, less skilled community to feel big in.
Well, it's your mod. If it's your bag, go for it.
He sure as hell wouldn't run like that in Twilight Princess.
Just stop replying. That Project M General idea is looking better and better.
This. They didn't even add a proper music for fuck's sake.
I don't play Ganondorf that much. I should ask a friend of mine what animation he likes. He's the ganon player of our bunch.
Last night I decided to go on a magical journey. First, I played Smash Bros. Melee. The game still holds up great-- the graphics are very bright and cartoony, and the gameplay obviously set the standard for what Smash players expect from the series. Then I played Project M-- it's like Melee, but with newer graphics and more content. It plays just as good as Melee and is all around quite wonderful. Feels like it's a direct sequel to Melee.
And then, I played Brawl. Holy shit does that game feel terrible. It feels like the characters are all trapped in a giant pool of jello. Everything about Brawl feels slow and floaty-- nothing has any weight, and at the same time everything moves slowly. It feels like the characters are on the moon when they jump It's just plain bad, there is no way around it. I can't believe Nintendo would actually release the game in this state. I have never even played Smash at a tournament or anything like that, but I couldn't stand to play Brawl for more than a few minutes.
>appears at the very end of the trailer
>Ayyyy Shaft, my buddies, I just threw this asshole in as a last minute addition, could you get your shitty underpaid korean animation team to make a three second powerpoint animation to slap at the end of that trailer? Love, Masahari Sakura
>They didn't even add a proper music for fuck's sake.
It sucks but they're obviously scared of adding copyrighted music from outside the Smash games.
They had the Ballad of the Goddess playing in Skyloft for 2.5 I believe and took it out by 2.6.
I heard somewhere they're looking for people to help compose tracks for the stages, I'm hoping we will get some decent Castlevania remixes.
>muh missing brawl stages
If you actually bothered to look around instead of bitching you'd have found PM repacks that contain both the PM stage mods AND every single Brawl stage + a bunch of Melee and Smash 64 ones.
Project M is infinitely customizable, you could add hundreds of stages if you wanted.
There is a Luigis mansion re-skin if you want it also that stage wasn't made by the devs it was someone else and they just put it in because it was more legal than Luigis mansion
Is that the thing were Smash faggots try to feel like they're playing an actual fighting game that requires skill?
Fucking faggots, get a real fighter and maybe you nintoddlers can join the big boys one day.
I spent a good chunk of last night converting the song "Vampire Killer" from Castlevania into Bitstream format. I even got it to loop perfectly.
I've also got the Judgment version of Bloody Tears in the song cue for Dracula's Castle. It feels so much more like a proper Castlevania stage with the right songs.
Now I wish they'd add Simon Belmont into the game. He could borrow moves from both Shiek and Zero Suit Samus.
Huh. Are stages like Spear Pillar tweaked in any way?
>mfw I was the one who did the majority of the Dracula X Chronicles songs on there
>Huh. Are stages like Spear Pillar tweaked in any way?
No, there're the exact same as they were in Brawl.
NTSC-U and NTSC-J are extremely similar so it could work, no promises though.
I feel their pain then.
The PM devs already managed to make some new animations and I guess they're still doing it for Sami etc.
You would probably like my mod then.
It's not over-the-top as BM but it's definitely not as technical as PM.
The rules are there so they don't get C&D from anyone
Which is why I must ask, is Simon Belmont in Brawl in any shape or form at all. He can even be a sticker or a background character, he just needs to be licensed for Brawl.
The reason is because if they add someone not licensed for Brawl and the copyright holders see it and don't like it, they'll bitch to/C&D Nintendo about it in which case Nintendo will have to C&D the PMBR guys.
>Character's change into much better characters.
>Get pissed off about it because you can't adapt.
You sound like meleefags.
Does anybody have the chart showing the characters power levels vs. their faggotry? I'm either retarded or it's just not on google.
Falcon isn't my best by any stretch of the imagination, but he is so damn fun to play.
The closest clause I can think of is Solid Snake.
Snake's had some encounters/references with Castlevania characters.
They were both in Dream Mix TV, New International Track & Field and Psycho Mantis has the famous Castlevania mind-read line as well as Kojima's involvement in LoS for whatever that's worth.
Besides that, PM is considered a Smash game on it's own and it's chosen to include Castlevania with a Dracula's Castle Stage. I know I'm reaching hard here but I dont' care, I want Simon.
That's the first thing I changed about him. Now he has more air time and jump are a little higher.
I like the PSI Up and I'd like to do more with it, but unfortunately Lucas is already strong as he is.
If they do this it may crush my spirit to play PM. I Sincerely hope they stick to their guns and just add Luigi's Mansion back in with a stage expansion so people will stop crying about it.
I really like Dracula's Castle, though. Screw the whiners, I hope this isn't true.
Trying to start maining King Dedede in PM, just started picking him up recently.
Bro as fuck.
>Lyn, Isaac and Skull Kid
Can't be here soon enough.
I just want to play PM with some northern fags. But, no. You assholes have to be asleep. I hate you.
Another thing to consider: Konami greenlighted a fan remake of the first Metal Gear. They even got as far as making a teaser trailer with David Hayter.
I don't think it would be out of the realm of possibility to just ask Konami if it would be okay. Nintendo said they already don't give a fuck so I think it could be worth a shot.
For netplay on PC. I also have signed up for the service someone provided that makes it so you can continue using wifi on the Wii but I'm not sure where to go for people who use that.
Google BrawlEx and look for premade stuff with PM. Chances are someone's already done it or at least has an outline for you to follow.
The BrawlVault forums probably have all you need.
I think it's pretty good, but once they nerf recoveries they should be hands the fuck off for a long while and let things settle in a big way, only making changes if something is a giant outlier.
Use this for fountain of dreams, lil nigga. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJsF9DbS1Dc
Its fucking delish.
Oh shit niggas, someone JUST threw up a ballin-ass dealer luigi skin on the vault.
I vaguely remember someone on a /v/ thread requesting it too I think.
>Not putting this song on Dreamland/Pokestadium 2
Also, why the fuck is there such a shitty limit to songs for the new tourney stages?
Last stage list had about, what, 40-50 available songs?
Now there's only about.. 35
Egh, I see why they did it and I ultimately agree with their decisions but I liked the stage selection we had. It's a little TOO tourney biased to only have that many stages on the first page.
the "new stagelist" isn't even official / dev-approved
Thats not even part of it though, i already know about the whole tk breezy thing, i watched the video the day it was uploaded. I will probably pick it up back later but for the time being I just really want to play Pacman for a while (inb4 shilling).
uh.... anon. I have good news
currently uploading some BRSTMs. They include the youtube link up there as well as mysterious destiny from Bayonetta. Don't ask me wheich is which because I don't fucking know. They're all named for Fountain of Dreams.
Here you go anon.
>Don't worry about the first 30 seconds or so.
When you say that, do you mean you want me to cut the intro out entirely, or would you rather have it play the intro and then loop normally, like it does in-game?
I'd rather just skip the intro, but if doing it the other way is easier that's fine too.
Thanks by the way, I tried making .brstms myself a while back, but I could never get them to loop well.
I'd appreciate if you could do any of these
I can understand cutting Knuckles because not many people really wanted another Sonic character and there was kind of potential legal issues anyway, but Sami? Bullshit. Everyone fucking loved that idea. She was probably the most well received of all the leaked characters, and that's over Isaac.
