I was young and around that time a senior in highschool. That was the first video I ever made on a computer to be honest.

Luckily, a person in the forums of Korean decent made an account using his mother's information. Turns out, back then and maybe still, Korea has a big online policy revolving around online use and any account needs an official social security number.
The lag was bad and I never understood what was happening, but he guided me through the process of accepting quests and weapon crafting.

The game was pretty linear, the maps and classes were kind of cool because of how varied they were. But down to it's core, it had alot of grinding. Even to the point that a weapon being upgraded could "damage" the weapon in the process and destroy it completely. The multiplayer was fantastic. Co-Op was very drop in/out and there were incentives to completing objectives.

It was a game designed before it's time to shine. Then iiji bought the game from Webzen and ruined everything.

I seldom dream about it to this day. No joke. Thank you, korean guy I never knew. Thank you, Webzen for trying your best on such an ambitious MMO in 2005. I won't forget either of you.

Thank you all for so long holding onto the dream of Huxley. I mean it. It raised the bar high in my mind. And I hope it will never leave your hearts as one of the best games that "could" have been.

You are the Commander unit and can shoot, kill, and etc. But at the same time you could control huge armies with a map overlay similar to strategy games of today.

I sincerely doubt they will release it in 2015 since Witcher 3 is in February. Almost their whole workforce is on Witcher 3 right now, 2077 will probably have at least a 2 year development cycle, maybe 3. It will be late 2016 at the absolute earliest, probably fall 2017 though. They announced the game when it had only just barely started earliest stages of pre-production because they were excited as hell about it.

I can't really blame Disney for killing LucasArts. They we're making so many huge mistakes over the past few years and the whole studio had lost it's charm and magic and didn't give a shit anymore. 1313 was a generic cover shooter that took place in a somewhat interesting area of Coruscant but LucasArts had hurt itself too much and this came to be shown too late. I bought Starbound due to the hype. I enjoyed it a little bit but as I went on I realized it's just tedium, it's not really that fun. It's been out for ages as well and is still in Beta stage 1 and I honestly doubt that they'll ever finish it. Thankfully the game was made with modding in mind. Fan mods do more for the game than the actual core developer content has.
