Luigi yes, but I disagree with Rosalina. Rosalina's so-called "backstory" is some poorly written storybook which details how a young Rosalina acted, which her adult self doesn't behave like. She just stood there in Galaxy doing nothing without any emotion.

It is her backstory, and there's nothing vague or unclear about that, so there's no need for the quotation marks. Also, it very much describes / explains who she is as an adult, by telling you about how she grew up and how she came into her role as the protector of the cosmos and mother of the lumas. She shows a lot of character through her actions as an adult, that reflects what you've learned from the story book. From how she treats the lumas - both their upbrining on the observatory, and their inevitable leaving, and how focused she is on protecting the cosmos from Bowser, and blows up pretty much half his fleet on her way to the centre of the universe. But it's also completely optional. They didn't force it down your throat if you were just there for the platforming. You're free to care or not care all you want, there's just no reason to shit up threads because others don't feel like you do.

That said, I wouldn't even TRY to use Luma in an all-out brawl - I played her at the demo, and they just couldn't take the pressure, though I'm sure they'd be okay if I just tried to play as a normal fighter. Luma will only really shine on 1v1's.
