Somehow made it even more broken.
The actual functioning game isn't too great either.
That was Sky Deck. The Sonic and Knuckles versions of that one were pretty bad, especially Knuckles with that stupid lever that tilts the ship, that was the wonkiest fucking thing
Tails' is just as bad but you could skip most of it by flying anyway
You tell me
The game was already hard, but doable. The screen crunch made it harder than it needed to be.
And on another note, while it was a multiplat the ps3 version of Bayonetta was pretty bad.
would've been perfect, if Ubi hadn't locked the 3D effect into "turn into Ray Charles after five minutes of gameplay"
Seriously. Anyone who owns this can agree with me, the 3D effect in this game is terrible, there's no way to play with it on
I don't blame them. This was one of the first titles on the 3DS
>Buy this shit after hearing how bad it was
>Try to play through the choppy framerate and butchered gameplay
>End up getting so pissed when doing Labyrinth zone that I ripped it out of my GBA and threw it on the roof
>Mfw I found it a few years later
its censored with bleeps
in all honesty it made it more funny to me
also the muliplayer was different which for alot of people automaticaly meant it was bad. the multiplayer was made in mind for teams of 8 to play against each other over XBL and was classbased with 2 player splitscreen for online or against bots. It wasn't bad, just different.
I still play it alone with bots sometimes on "a bridge too narrow" and on the more enclosed maps I like playing as the sneaker due to the fucking amazing parkour-like movement all due to walljumping. I fucking love it and wish RARE was making shooters like it even if childish or something instead of that fucking idiotic kinnect stuff that they are forced to make. but...
guess we'll have to make our own :^)
gee, I wonder why it would act like a cheap tiger handheld game
because its cheap for poor people to buy when they can't afford a gameboy, a Super nintendo or N64
they made it not to have a good game, but a game someone will buy because a kid asked for "duke nukem 3d"
Yep, but Doom 2 had a fuckin great port for GBA. Adapted to a engine that works on GBA makes it run very well all considered, and it features all of the content, besides some of the more exact mechanics and level lighting
Agreed, who's lazy fuck idea was to port the Jaguar version, make the music sound worse than the 32X version and not include the missing levels? Goddamn.
Doom 2's the shit on the GBA, I would love to see someone try to hack it so it plays the original Doom
>maybe they did know better and thought that piece of shit would be a hit because of the many other Tiger games
what did I just say about some kid asking for duke and a dumb or poor parent buying this version of it
Fuck, I loved this game as a kid. It was god-tier in my eyes despite the difficulty and I danced like a fucking retard every time I finally defeated a robot master. 10/10 would play again
I remember having (still have, as a matter of fact) the First Spiderman movie game for my PS2
I was always pissed at how you couldn't jump down the city, that and how the later missions are hard as balls. I think I stopped right as I was entering Oscorp's
>Fighting pic related on the GBA
Welcome to die
I remember playing the shit out of the multiplayer on the N64 version with my friend. It was great fun, gory, but perfect for my elementary school mind.
Blasting heads off squirrels, massacring them with chainsaws and katanas. Throwing knife skill fights. Too much fun.
Then they fucking changed it all. Bleh...
At least the singleplayer was still decent, although the Matrix parody felt a little dated.
>Discover emulation in 2001, twelve years old
>Download the SNES version of this thinking its Megaman 9
>Play as Bass constantly
>Fall in love with the soundtrack and the designs and everything
>GBA version finally comes out
>Desperately want it
>Parents will never buy it for me, no allowance or way to make money so I can't afford it
>Now that I finally have money of my own copies are price gouged to fuck
>Now that I can finally support it properly, the series is dead
It really depends, it had horrible slowdowns (not as bad as the 3DO version, though) , and the level design had to be severely dumbed down so it could run on the console
I think of the SNES version as a novelty that should amaze people rather than make them feel disgusted, it might not play like he Doom we know, but damn if it isn't impressive.
>Play Labyrinth Zone on GBA
>Can't fucking beat it
>Play it on the Gamecube
>Did perfectly fine first try
>that feel when Labyrinth Zone always kicked my ass as a kid, especially the Robotnik fight at the end
Apparently the ROMs themselves were straight dumps, but the sound on the emulator they licensed for use was GODAWFUL.
>Battles slowed down by almost 50%
>Cless's voice acting sounds like that of a 40-year-old man
>Some music tracks sound like NES music
>Worse visual effects that lower the frame rate
